I’m so pleased with my kitchen remodel from PSR! The remodel includes all new cabinetry, hardware, countertop, sink & faucet, mosaic tile backsplash, and lighting. They also reoriented the door from a coat closet into the kitchen to create pantry space and enlarged the pass-through to the dining room. I've never been through a remodel of this size and the PSR team helped me through the process, with good ideas, advice, and advocacy along the way. Everyone I worked with -- Pat, Cora, Ian and especially Jake -- was terrific.The project took just about three weeks and I loved coming home each day to see the progress. I felt like everyone was just as excited as I was to see everything take shape.The team did so much to minimize the disruption, even when we were stuck at home for snow days and days off school, we never felt in the way. We love having our kitchen back, but we kind of miss coming home to Jake and the team.I'm going to start saving up for my next project with PSR. Thanks, everyone!

I can’t say enough about this company and their staff. They were here for a total first floor kitchen remodel. And the results are stunning. The most professional and talented group of folks. On a job this big, I was very nervous but I have never regretted my decision to use Pat Scales Remodeling. I felt very comfortable in the entire process. I highly recommend them.

Our time using Pat Scales would quantify as "OK"

Benefits- our quote and our final price were almost identitical. Price changes were transparent. The work was done well in the end.

Cons - time management is not a strong suit. Our project quote 7-9 weeks took 19 weeks. Small delays were due to an outside vendor (one recommended by PSR) but many were due to management within PSR. Many contractors like electricians, drywallers, etc were not contacted until the day they were needed, frequently causing delay. There were days-to- week long gaps where no work was done and no one was in contact with us, frequently making us feel forgotten.

When living in your home during a remodel, time is of the essence and these large gaps become bothersome. The company seems stretched too thin.

Much of the quality of the work is dependent on the "final inspection". While the work is done well eventually, not everyone is working to get the job right the first time.

Between the negative things said about outside contractors, delays in getting work done, and inefficiency of getting work done the first time this was all-in-all a 4 star experience.

At the end of the day, the work was well done and all the components of our house which they worked on look great.

PSR did a remodel of our first floor (removal of a wall that separates our kitchen from the dinning room, all new LED can lights in the kitchen/dinning area ceiling, all new floors throughout the first floor) and we could not be happier with the results. PSR exceeded every expectation we had going into this project. Jake, Abby, Mike and the rest of the PSR crew have been great to work with from start to finish. The attention to detail has been nothing short of amazing. They truly make your project feel like it’s their most important project. If you’re looking to do a renovation of your home, don’t think twice, go with PSR.

We were thrilled with the entire experience of working with PSR - from the initial planning meeting to the finished product. The entire team was hard-working, attentive to even the smallest details, willing to listen to our input and feedback, and genuinely cared about making the finished product perfect! Their communication was thorough and consistent during the entire project. We went through a major renovation of our family room and already cannot wait to partner with them again on our next project.

Pat Scales recently remodeled our business. We have a historical building that needed a remodel and renovation. We continued to work at our business during the remodel. Pat Scales was very thorough and provided excellent communication with us before, during and after the process. We now have a beautifully constructed space that fits with our currently space seamlessly. Pat worked within our budget and worked with the city we live in and followed all the rules! We would like recognize Mike and Abby especially who worked on site and made this process flow so smoothly.

We worked with Pat Scales on an entire first floor gut and remodel. From the very beginning, we were extremely comfortable with them. Ian was excellent to work with on our initial plans and quotes. We LOVED working with Heather on design and finishes. She had many great ideas! Rob was a great project manager - kept us on track. We couldn't have been happier with Mike, Mike, Kenny, Joe and everyone else who was here day in and day out. They were professional, creative, and cleanly.

Our project took about three months in the midst of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, hybrid AND virtual school, and working from home. This could have been a huge disaster and inconvenience, but the team was wonderful and felt like part of our family. We can't wait for our next project so they can come back!

Our remodeled bathroom project went wonderfully. The PSR team did a great job from start to finish. I would recommend this company to anyone with home remodeling projects.

Recently, we had Pat Scales and two other remodeling companies review plans and walk through our home for an upcoming two bedroom, two bathroom, laundry room remodel. A couple weeks later, Pat invited us to his office. We met with several members of his staff to visualize and review their proposal. EVERYTHING was VERY detailed and thought out! The entire process has been very professionally handled. We are very impressed and would recommend Pat Scales Remodeling!

We worked with PSR on a complete kitchen remodel and design. We picked PSR because of a previous experience in which they were the only company willing to take on a small project to add a steel beam to a bowing bedroom wall. That project gave us a glimpse into the skilled and professional craftsmen at PSR.

Pat Scales Remodeling was fantastic to work with on the kitchen project. It started with the kitchen design, the picking of cabinets, countertops, tile, hardware etc. Once the work began, they were prompt, told us when they would or wouldn’t be at our house, who would be there and what they would be doing. The finished product is everything we wanted and more. Any future project we may have will go to PSR.

Professional, communicative and their attention to detail was top notch. From the owner (Pat) to the lead who worked on our project we couldn’t be happier. These guys are the best! I recently had a few water spots in my front hallway and contacted Pat Scales to remedy the problem. Unfortunately, the problem was my roof. Pat insured me he would handle it for me, and what a job he did! From the first contact to the last, he was easy to get ahold of and promptly responded to any questions or concerns I had. His guys came to my house at 8am as promised, and by 5 pm, the roof was completely replaced. That included 8 sheets of wood that was rotted out and needed replaced. Jamie(the foreman) would explain anything I asked with zero hesitation. I ask a lot of questions and at times felt as though I was bothering him, but he never acted like I was at all! He was one of the nicest and considerate contractors I have ever dealt with! When his crew left my house, there was literally zero evidence they were at my house except for the beautiful new roof! They repeatedly walked the perimeter of my house to make sure nails were not left in my yard! Pat and his crews demand excellence of each other to provide the best experience for his customers as possible. I now feel comfortable under my new roof. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. I will definitely be using him for any future projects I have! Thank you Pat Scales and the whole Pat Scales Remodeling family!

I don’t even know where to begin! From the concept design, the process education, design, final consults to construction… this team treats you like family, they treat your home and its belongings like it is their home and they put you first 100% of the time while delivering absolute excellence. Worth every penny, every special moment they share with you when you see a new thing, etc. I’d do it over again and again. Worth the investment and then some to have a group of people just as excited as you are for the outcome.

PSR is outstanding and I would highly recommend them for your home improvement needs. They finished our basement which included doubling our square footage. From design to finish they communicated well and treated our house like it was their own. The attention to detail was impressive and all of their team members are respectful and gifted at their crafts. There were no surprise costs, and they finished on time. I am 100% satisfied with the finished product and I have never been able to say that with a contracted home improvement project. Way to go PSR.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Pat Scales Remodeling! They recently completed a fantastic renovation project for us, adding a laundry room, half bath, and closet, and refreshing our entire home with an emphasis on the kitchen. What started as a primary bath remodel turned into a whole first-floor remodel, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience and results. The professionalism and talent of the design team made us comfortable with the many decisions that needed to be made. Mike and his crew were hard-working and meticulous with the details. Any idea/change, etc. that we had was met with a smile and the work was done. The estimate of the timing and cost was very transparent and spot on. This was a large job, and PSR’s work ethic and talent were evident throughout. We stayed in the house during the project, so our family (including the dogs) got to know the friendly crew. They were respectful of our privacy and the time spent in the house every day. I really can’t say enough positive remarks about Pat Scales Remodeling. Our project took four months and was well worth it. I highly recommend PSR and would use them again.

We hired PSR to finish our basement, our second PSR renovation after being happy with a master bath remodel for many years. The project was flawless from start to finish. Mike, Jeff and Rob were exceptional in managing the day to day work and helping us navigate complex decisions on electrical and HVAC upgrades. Miranda and Marian helped design a great interior look and the perfect kitchenette. Jake, Chris and Logan's custom carpentry, craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. WOW!!! Pat Scales Remodeling is impressive and their home addition process is incredibly dialed-in.

My wife and I were merging our families in anticipation of getting married, and had to either sell my house and find something bigger, or add on 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to the home that my kids have known and loved to be able to make it work for all of us.

We reached out to 14 companies, 8 of which were interested in our project and provided pricing, 3 of whom I believed would be capable of doing really good work.

All 3 on our short list, including PSR were over our budget based on what I had described wanting to each contractor at our initial consultations.

However, PSR has a design process in place that allows you to work though different concepts to understand the cost impacts of different ideas as well as be able to see and change live in 3D render. Through this process we were able to get exactly what we needed down within our budget.

Their field team was incredibly communicative, and we enjoyed having them in our home. They were happy to discuss the goings-on of the project at the end of each day, and always seemed to be happy with great attitudes in general. It was a very well run project by their PM Mike D. and I imagine that likely contributes to the team's positive morale. This positivity definitely shows through to the client in each interaction.

We had a handful of Change Orders throughout the project which were our ideas that they were happy to bring to life for us, but also a couple of unforeseen items such as an old buried brick cistern found during excavation which had to be removed and back-filled with concrete.

Even with these changes during construction, our final invoice came in UNDER BUDGET.

This is because Pat's team knows these things will happen or come up. So, rather than putting the homeowner in a tough spot to make decisions about cost vs. doing something correctly, they include allotments and contingency money in the original estimate to cover unforeseens as they arise.

I was so nervous going into this with all of the stories of contractors nickel and diming after the work has begun. PSR never did anything of the sort. To then have them come in under budget at the end was a legitimate WOW!

My biggest piece of advice after going through this whole experience is to not let sticker shock scare you away from PSR. They are setting you up for success with your project by considering all possible costs. At the end, if allotments or contingency dollars aren't used, you get them back. I was actually legitimately shocked by this at the end when they came in under budget and we were asked to pay less on our final invoice than we were expecting.

We have everyone moved in and settled now and couldn't be happier with everything PSR has done for us.

We couldn’t be happier with the work that Pat Scales and his entire team did for our new three seasons room. Everything was handled so professionally and with such wonderful attention to detail that we never had to worry. We initially met with Pat, then Miranda and Marian to finalize the initial plans who helped us make the room we wanted a reality. Mike was excellent with communication the entire time with managing the project and with suggestions along the way to improve things. Rob was always there to check in on the progress as well and we were so impressed by the entire crew who handled the construction, painting and final details. Thank you Adam and Logan! I ultimately chose Pat Scales after a couple of referrals. I will absolutely use them again and can’t recommend them enough. We are so happy with our new space.
