Reviews of local pros in Ashaway, Rhode Island

Huge tree fell in the yard and I hired Cambium Tree Works LLC. John did an awesome job at a reasonable price! Will hire again when we take down some trees in the fall!

They are terrific. We had a few trees that were leaning into power and service lines due to storms. It was a major concern when I travel for work. I called them and within days they came out, cut the branches, trimmed, and mulched everything. John the owner is great - very fair estimate and remembered exactly what we wanted. It’s great peace of mind knowing we have a company like this nearby to do an excellent job and provide outstanding customer service. Great company and crew. We’ll definitely use them again and recommend them.

These guys are rock stars. I hired them to take down six 80’ pines in a very precarious location on my property line. They have an incredibly skilled crew. John, the foreman, was super easy to work with. They got it an an out with a crane in less than four hours. Can’t say how impressed the entire neighborhood was with their operation.

We would highly recommend Johnmichael and his crew. We had two large oaks taken down and three others heavily pruned and trimmed. All in tricky areas, close to our home. They arrived on time and completed the job in 1 day at a reasonable price. We were very impressed with and appreciate their professionalism and hard work!

John and his crew arrived on time and went straight to work. They were careful and handled trees and branches removal with obvious experience. All equipment worked well and resulted in no delays or problems. The weather was wet and cold but they worked steadily. I highly recommend Cambium.

John and his team did an amazing job. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend their company. They were professional and were very particular about keeping the lawn clean. They were on time when they said they would be there and completed the job in a timely manner. Thank you Cambium Tree Works for a job well done!

The crew was efficent, profesional and quick. Highly recommend .!!

Pete was very nice. Knowledgeable and quick with the quote.

I called them many times and left voice mails no body called me back and bothered himself to response. Unprofessional.. I found another professional company that did a great job in my yard.

Wonderful service, timely, responsive, and very professional. Such hard workers - I will always go with them when I need tree services. Very highly recommend!

First time using them. We cannot say enough about the job they did. You couldn’t even tell they were here except for the wood I had them leave for me. Will definitely use them again.

Very professional and organized. They came on time and communication was great. Cleanup was impressive! It's like they were never here except all the trees were trimmed and the yard looks great. I would highly recommend Southern 401 Tree Service.

Our experience with 401 Tree Service, was exceptional.
Pete was efficient, professional and the estimate was very affordable.
The work was beautifully done. We couldn't be more pleased. We would absolutely use this service and highly recommend it to others.

Excellent Job done by Pete and his crew. Quick response on quoting our job. Price was fair. Went above and beyond. Showed up on time, was quick, professional and did an excellent cleanup. We had 3 trees pruned and topped and 1 tree removed with its stump ground down. Pete decided on his own to have his crew haul the limbs, branches and cut trees to the wood chipper in the driveway so he didn’t drive his equipment on the lawn. Thanks for that!!! We are very particular about our lawn. Would hire these guys again.

Wow this is an amazing tree removal service from start to finish. Alexandra is totally professional as well as personal. The estimate was spot on and when the day arrived the crew was the best. My back yard looks better than before they started. Their equipment and expertise about tree removal is the best I have seen. I would use them again any day and recommend them highly.

Very happy with 401 Tree service! Last year we purchased our first house. We had 6 very large cedar trees on the side of our house. Ivy had taken over the yard and the trees after years of neglect. Once we removed the ivy we saw that the trees were mostly dead. The green we had seen was only from the ivy. For the safety of our neighbors house and ours we decided to have them removed.
After calling around to about 12 different tree removal companies we settled on 401 Trees. Most would not even take on the job because of the close proximity of our neighbor's house and our small side yard. Other quotes would have bought a used car.
401 Trees arrived on time, were friendly, professional, quick, reasonably priced and did a great job cleaning up. And I believe it was Alex who handled the scheduling and answering all of my random questions. Never once was I made to feel like an inconvenience or unimportant. All emails were answered within hours. Great customer service we will definitely use again should we need any sort of tree service!

This is the second time we’ve worked with Southern 401. They are always on time, do the job really well and clean up the job site after. They are really professional, are respectful of the property and do everything they say they are going to do. Pricing is reasonable. We will continue to use them for our tree work and highly recommend them.

We recently had some trees removed from southern 401.We appreciated their timely and reasonable quote. They got the job done with care to our property and even transferred some plants that were in their way.I highly recommend you give them a call if you need tree work done

When he came to give me a quote, Pete had great ideas for my backyard that I hadn't considered. When he brought his crew and heavy equipment, they went above and beyond to cut back the vines and branches and trees. Also, they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I obtained quotes from three companies and his was the lowest. More work for less money! Also, the company is owned by state-licensed arborists, which made me more confident about their skills.

Had four large oak trees removed near power lines. They did a great job took away everything and cleaned up before they left.
Would highly recommend them to anybody.

Very happy with the service!
