As part of our basement remodel we had KME Electric do all of the electrical work, which included lighting, outlets, switches, electric baseboard heater, bathroom fan/vanity light, ethernet and coax cables/jacks, wiring for a mini split heat/AC unit, moving furnace emergency shutoff switch, and upgrading to 200 amp service. Keith and his guys were very professional, thorough, neat and efficient. They explained everything, answered any questions I had, and made sure we were all on the same page with all of the work being performed. All of the cables and circuit breakers were labeled, which is very helpful. We got connected with KME Electric through the general contractor for the project, and we were very thankful because not only was the basement work top notch, but now we have found our go-to electrician for all future electric work. I highly recommend KME Electric!

Keith at KME Electric helped us to install a new kitchen outlet to run a disposal through. He was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable, and we would work with him again. Thank you!

Very unfortunate that I have to write this because KME can be decent work besides the mess he leaves behind, the entire common areas being wired to one unit and refusing to come back to fix, or the 32 feet of 15amp heaters all being put on one 20amp circuit and disconnecting heaters to fix when breakers trip.

Separately, working with Keith was absolutely horrible. SO much so that my contractor who subbed him also nixed any future work with him. He shows up late (and sometimes not at all) which you can see consistently in the reviews below, and when something isnt done like it was supposed to be, it’s impossible to get him out. I have had 4 conversations with him in the last two weeks (all arrangements canceled thus far) to come out and wire common areas to the house panel INSTEAD of my personal unit panel. Seemingly easy enough, and should have been done initially, but would rather risk his reputation than do the right thing! I am dying to see what kind of passive/aggressive response I get to this review (based on what I have seen) because I have been extremely patient, extremely respectful, and have tried to be understanding (as a small business owner myself.)

Keith and KME are responsive , a very good price and great to work with. Came out on a Saturday and completed quickly but we're very clean and their work is very detailed. I would recommend to anyone. And will continue to use them.

I have recently been fortunate enough to have had Keith and his team of professionals working in my home. What a great experience! These guys work like a team, they are CLEAN, POLITE, HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, COMMUNICATIVE & do TOP NOTCH work! They worked independently without supervision and I have never felt safer about having a contractor working in my home. The finished product was much better than I would have ever expected - ZERO negative impact on my home, both physically and visually. The house was cleaner when they left and the safety and comfort of everyone in the home is their first priority. I highly recommend KME - absolute perfectionist!

I called KME to help me install new outlets in an older house. The job then grew to installing lights and fans. They were extremely accommodating and helped with all my electrical projects. 10/10 would recommend.

KME was very professional and friendly. They came in to our 3 family house to move and install new smoke and carbon detectors. They did a great job in a timely manner while my 6 your old nephew followed them around asking lots of questions and trying to help! They were so good with him being around it was amazing! I needed to upgrade the electrical service at my house. Keith from KME came out the same day I contacted him, gave me a quote, and we scheduled the work to be done. The work was done quickly, professionally, and when they were done the clean up was great. KME will definitely be my go to for any future electrical needs.

Highly recommend KME Electric. Keith responds to phone calls (rare these days), sets up and shows up on time for appointments, and does excellent work. Keith and Patrick recently installed a ceiling fan and a pendant fixture from my 15 foot ceiling as well as beautiful under counter lighting. Professional and knowledgeable, I would definitely use in the future for any electrical issues.

Called KME to add a c-line to my furnace so I connect my new Google Nest Tstat, my old Lyric Smart Tstat didn't need one. He asked me to text him my address.which I did, and he would stop by the next morning, I told him I would be home until 12. He never showed up, never called to cancel or reschedule. I called at 11 to see if he was still planning to come. He never picked up, never responded to my voicemail. Never again!

They were quick to respond to my outdoor electrical issue caused my one of the Nor'easters in March. Keith and Jay were very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. They both patiently answered all my questions and eased my concerns. They also explained to me what was being done while they were working. I will definitely call KME again should we require any future indoor or outdoor electrical work.

I had a fantastic experience working with this company. They were professional and knowledgeable in completing the work. The entire process was smooth. They explained everything and answered all of my questions.They also looked at our gas furnace without charging me even though it had nothing to do with electric. They are the real deal! We’ve used KME Electric many times for residential projects (including a full panel upgrade) and most recently for a complete remodel for our small business. I keep forgetting to review, but I had a new circuit breaker box and generator plug installed several months ago. Everything went smooth and now I can hook up my generator without having to run cords everywhere. Keith returned my calls, was there when they were supposed to be, and cleaned up afterwards. Cost was reasonable and I would recommend KME and would use them again if the need arises. Very happy with the work that was done.

After many tries searching for a reputable, reliable and responsive electrician I came across Keith and his crew at KME Electric.

They fulfilled everything I wished for, showing up when they said they would… these days that’s usually enough… they also delivered. Answering questions, giving suggestions and just overall being helpful with the job.

Keith and Patrick from KME Electric were fantastic. We had been having issues with our board for a few weeks and had a hard time getting someone to help us. KME was recommended by a friend and they responded promptly and got us on the schedule within two weeks of our call (if it were not for our schedules they would have come sooner).

They arrived when they said they would and were willing to come down to South County which is hard to find these days. They replaced our old 100amp panel and upgraded us to a 200amp along with replacing our service wire.

They completed the job in the time they estimated and replaced the exterior trim board that the meter was attached to for no extra charge. The price for essentially a full day of work by a licensed and insured electrician was fair and reasonable. The electric panel in this house went from a rats nest to clean and neat installation.

I highly recommend KME and will happily refer him!

All the power went out In our barn and our "guy" had retired so we took a chance on KME based on all the good reviews. Keith returned our call promptly and was there the next day and found & fixed the problem quickly (it was a bad circuit breaker in the main box). Their rates are very reasonable and we already made plans to have some more stuff done, that we've been putting off. Totally satisfied with our new "guy", 😊. Highly recommend!

For anyone needing a professional to do a job at your home, you know how frustrating it can be to get them to answer the phone let alone show up. I have used KME twice. Both times they answered the phone and showed up in a very timely manor. This company puts customer service first. They are very professional, considerate and trustworthy. Their pricing is very reasonable!

I called KME for a power issue. I was losing power to half the house sporadically. Keith came right out to look at it. Turns out, i needed a new panel inside and out. They were able to get the job done pretty quickly. The crew did a great job. Everyone was super nice and very professional. I recently had a generator issue. Keith came right out to look at it. I would not hesitate to use KME electric again and I highly recommend them.

KME upgraded the service on my house to 200A and also added a 30A transfer switch for a generator. When I originally called inquiring about the cost, Keith came over the next day and provided me with a quote. Keith and his team were very professional and the work was completed in a timely manner. A recent windstorm detached service to my home leaving my family in a potentially dangerous situation. I was having difficulty securing an electrician to do the work in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I contacted KME and Keith knew I was in a was in a difficult situation and quickly prepared an appropriate estimate and completed the job in an expedited time frame.
