Had a contract with Petro Oil to service my furnace , 22 years they had been maintaining it. Unfortunately last year they came out and put the wrong nozzle and filter in. The furnace locked out and I ended up calling Gem because we had no heat for two days. Gem’s technician, Harrison, was amazing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining everything he did and recommended replacement of another part. He got the furnace back up and running in time for the big snow storm we had. Pricing was a little high, but they came out on a weekend and it was an emergency so it’s to be expected. Am very happy with the job they did and will definitely be using them again in the future.

When my well tank sprang a late-night leak, Abraham called within 15 minutes of my emergency service request. He walked me through everything I needed to do to stop the leak and came to my house the next morning. The repair was done well and in a timely manner, and Abraham even found a way to save me a bit on the cost. I'll be calling GEM for future work and recommending them to others!

Melinda was an absolute delight when setting up my work order. She walked me through the entire process including service fee and ETA of technician. Would definitely recommend using GEM due to her high level of customer service!

My Mom’s home developed major/serious water supply and sewer issues a few days before this past Thanksgiving prompting my first time call to GEM. I was/am appreciative and impressed with GEM's immediate response in dispatching a technician to evaluate the issue(s) leading to additional GEM equipment being immediately dispatched to complete the evaluation allowing for GEM’s detailed recommendations to correct multiple issues. From there and shortly there after, GEM dispatched multiple technicians who worked diligently for 3 days to correct multiple issues. Not only was GEM’s staff reassuring throughout, they were on time, professional, courteous and communicated with me at each phase of the project(s). Simply put, GEM staff was excellent start to finish as I was/am impressed and pleased with the GEM’s work such that I will not hesitate to call GEM for my future needs.

I am very pleased with the repair service I received recently. I called in an emergency and was able to speak directly with an actual person. I was able to explain in detail what the issue was. Their communication was very clear when the technician was to arrive.
The technician, Tony, was very courteous and I was impressed with his wealth of knowledge on our older heating system. He was able to diagnose the problem right away and he took the time to explain the repair and answer any questions I had. My experience with GEM was very positive and professional and I would not hesitate to call for their assistance in the future.

We had an emergency plumbing issue on a Sunday, and GEM Plumbing and Heating Services was fantastic from start to finish. The company returned my call promptly and set realistic expectations, which I really appreciated. Douglas V., who came out was pleasant, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem efficiently. It’s stressful dealing with plumbing emergencies, but GEM Plumbing and Heating Services made the experience smooth and reassuring. I would absolutely recommend GEM and would not hesitate to call them again.

We needed a repair to our vinyl siding due to the fact when they installed our new system they had to move the vent. Tom did a wonderful job fixing that. You can't even tell where the other vent was. The sales and install team at Gem is amazing, they went above and beyond to ensure not only was the correct Carrier Infinity heat pump solution selected, but after installation, they tested and cleaned up. Colin and David came out to help us with a furnace HVAC inspection today, and both were such wonderful help!

As first time homeowners, they were confidently helpful with our issue, as well as very informative and instructive on where the parts went wrong and what to look out for in the future. Both were highly professional and friendly.

Just 2 days later, a GEM team came out to install our new furnace. They were efficient and detailed in their install of the new unit, and they followed through with replacing the old condensate tube, adding a flood protecting tray, and then going above and beyond to replace the flue which goes to the exterior of the house, capping it with critter protecting mesh, and adding silicone sealant where it meets the house. WOW! This team went the extra mile for us!!

I called GEM in a panic when I came home to no heat or hot water today. Jennifer was wonderful on the phone, answered all my questions and assured me I would be helped today. Jason C. was at my door within 90 minutes of my call! He diagnosed the problem and was able to get my furnace up and running again, much to my great relief! This was my first experience with GEM and I am so very impressed with the quick response, knowledgeable and professional personnel that I will continue to use their services in the future.

GEM Plumbing and Heating sent over Eric and Sam to install a brand new 90,000BTU On demand water heating system in my house. The crew did a fantastic job piecing this together and making it compact, efficient, and absolutely beautiful to the eye. I do catch myself walking by and just staring at all the brass and copper piping put together; it's impressive work... Especially being upgraded from a 30-year old system. GEM provides top tier work and has excellent customer service to address your concerns and requests for installation. My house was up and running with heat from a completely failed older system within 48hrs. Day 1 had a technician diagnose and offer suggestions.. the following Day on Day 2, the crew was here removing everything and installing the new system. Done same day. 👍 Remarkable quality and speed, I highly recommend GEM.

Walter came on my first day, when an unexpected leak Gave me the worst anxiety I’ve ever felt. I called several other plumbers and nobody was available Same day, which was an issue as we couldn’t turned on our main water valve until the leak was identified and stopped. Thankfully GEM We’re so understanding and came right away, from the phone operator, calming me down to my technician, Walter, being the best. He really hoped to be understand what happened and ease my anxiety in general about how to take care of a home as a first time on fire. He went above and beyond in the situation and made me feel a lot better. I’m still a nervous wreck, because I know things like this will continue to happen as a home, but I know if I ever have other means I won’t be as nervous because I can always call GEM!

I love dealing with Gem. Everyone they send is intelligent and highly competent. They are very careful to leave my home clean and neat after the work is completed. They are, however, very expensive. Sometimes it’s well worth it - I just had four mini splits installed and they did a fabulous job. I’m very happy about the whole experience.

Not your local discount plumber but you can be sure to count on them! Great for bigger jobs and emergencies. Sure you can find more reasonably priced for basic troubleshooting but the dependability is incomparable. Also reasonably priced for full replacements of systems. They have saved me through many emergencies as a property manager. Professional all the way.

Christopher A. and Donald F. Were both Extremely professional and competent. They came to perform the annual services and based on my comments about its cycling did some troubleshooting- they found a minor issue and quickly corrected it, not leaving until the solution was verified. I was so happy with their service that I signed up for their annual package.

Update- we had an issue with the furnace stopping for several hours at a time. Christopher A. Returned. He quickly assessed the situation and figured out that we had a clogged condensation trap. A quick cleaning and the furnace has been running perfectly now - going on day 3! Best part- the repair was covered under the warranty!

The GEM team was phenomenal. - the were on time they communicated clearly they executed the work flawlessly and did so while being very respectful of our home. They covered the floor to avoid any mess and were just great at explaining how the issue occurred and how to avoid it in the future.
