Dumais came out the same day that I called even though it wasn’t a true “emergency” - I just didn’t know if the issue would affect the ability to give my kiddo a bath. The two gentlemen came by and looked at my issue then fixed it. Price was fair. The guys were determined to help. Very pleased!

Bruce was going out of his way!! He came at 2 am to fix my brother's pipes that had burst. Great job , very attentive and professional. Hope he will do the same for me with the big pipe job.

Bruce Dumais is the 3rd generation of plumbing excellence since 1947. His father had him on job sites at age five... Of course he wasn't working but was learning.

He is a savant of his craft. He is well known throughout RI and MA for his superior work. He has trained and provided apprenticeship to many local plumbers who now own their own businesses.

He is a very generous man who has many of the same customers the span of 45 years.

He performs both commercial and residential work.

Bruce and George of Dumais Plumbing did all the plumbing work for the remodeling of my main bathroom. Of all the subcontractors working on the project, they were the most communicative, professional, and detail-oriented. As a large project (involving moving all the fixtures) in an old house, there were plenty of unexpected curveballs; they were immensely patient and invariably came up with creative solutions when needed.

Had my furnace stop working and Bruce and George from Dumais plumbing were able to stop by the day that I called. After coming up with an action plan George returned the next day and was able to repair my heating service.

Thankful for Bruce and George responding to my call. In the future, I will not be hesitating to call Bruce and co for annual maintenance and any other repair needs.

Bruce and George are the best. They worked with us on finishing our basement and made the recommendation to update our main sewer line going out of the house. They did a great job and were fast and on time with the work. I contacted them a few months later for a Navien combo heat and hot water upgrade. What a job they did! The system is amazing and is super efficient. If you need HVAC/Plumbing work done right and at a great price, call Dumais and Bruce and George will get it done!

We did a total remodel on our master bath, and these guys were fabulous. They quoted a price, came when they said they would, did an amazing job, and were pleasant and respectful while they were in our home. I wouldn't hesitate to use them on any other plumbing job again. Top notch service all around.

Bruce, George, and Brian are the best. We have had them out to our house twice recently. Once for a hybrid electric water heater installation and more recently to have a shower system installed with a new toilet. Both times Bruce listened and delivered on everything we asked. Bruce knows his stuff.

We own the Restaurant Souvlaki Zone on Branch Ave in Providence, and contracted Dumais Plumbing & Heating to do all our plumbing for the Restaurant and gas piping for our Kitchen Equipment. Bruce and his team, George & Brian did an amazing job across all aspects. They are professional, polite, responsive and do great quality work. We had George find and repair a rather nasty tub leak. He was extremely professional and responsive. I feel we got great value for the amount and quality of work he did. We didn’t hesitate to use him again to help solve a heating issue with our furnace. I highly recommend Dumais Plumbing!!

I have indirect hot water, connected to the boiler. Unless the boiler is on, that heats up the house with forced hot water (Baseboard), I won't get hot water. My boiler stopped working. Although, I don't need heat, I still need hot water. Yesterday, I called Dumais Plumbing and Heating about the problem with my boiler, that wouldn't fire up. Bruce Dumais, the owner, answered the phone. He was polite and professional. He assured me, he would send someone the next day (as it was already late to send someone on the same evening) to take a look at it. Next day, two technicians, George and Brian came. they performed diagnostics, trouble shooting the problem. They checked thoroughly and pin pointed the problem to the Aqua-stat. He contacted the part store for a new one. It would cost $400. George gave me an option, if I wanted to go pick it up and they'll install it or asked me if I wanted to install it myself? We talked about my capability and we decided, that I could do it myself. Before even I asked, how much would be the charge for the diagnostics, George said, "There is no charge". But I couldn't accept and not able to believe, that someone would spend time and not charging (That too, two techs...). I offered them to pay for the diagnostic charge, but they refused. These guys are great! They are honest and very professional. Finally, I insisted, that at least they have coffee and donuts on me. They reluctantly accepted.
In this day and age, when you can't readily trust anyone, it is so refreshing to meet honest professionals. It gives you HOPE. I will recommend Dumais Plumbing and Heating, especially, George and Brian with full heart and confidence.

BTW, I went to the part store, bought the Aquastat and replaced it myself (It took me less than half hour). The boiler is up and running. I have hot water.

Dumais is right around the corner from my house so it was a logical first call after we bought our home. It was also the right call. They have revealed and replaced toilets, rebuilt our heating system, and connected our water main with timeliness, efficiency, and a dedication to making sure all of our concerns are addressed. I am glad George will soon be the owner of this business as it, and my plumbing, will be in good hands for many years to come!

George, the new owner of Dumais Plumbing and Heating just this pass week installed a new a gas fired boiler and a hot water heater fired by the boiler.
It was a pleasure working with George and his employees Brian and Tim.
George did an excellent and very clean looking install. In addition, he is very easy to work with. He patiently listens to questions answering them throughly. When texted he answers promptly(quite unusual these days).
All in all a great and very knowledgeable
Person to work with. I feel very comfortable recommending him for any plumbing job from faucet to boiler installs.
