Very happy with service call! Jim showed up promptly and saved me a ton of work and money by identifying the leak was due to a simple tub trip lever plate not installed properly (not the faucet/valve). I appreciate the honesty and helping me avoid a more costly job than needed. Thank you!

Butch from Travers did an excellent and thorough job with pumping/cleaning my septic. He was courteous, extremely helpful, and was a wealth of knowledge for my questions as someone new to septic. Was also helpful that he is from the area he services allowing him to be able to relate first hand experiences to questions. Would definitely use again.

All indications are that the quality of the work was fine, but the communication is deceptive and lacks detail that customers deserve. I am only writing this review to protect future customers from being deceived. Some history... We had an issue with the bill from this company a couple years ago, but this time we needed immediate service for our tenants leaking sink and they indicated they could be there right away, so we figured we would give them the benefit of the doubt and a second chance. Unfortunately it did not go well, for several reasons: 1) "Right away" turned into 3 days later, and while we waited, we turned away two other plumbers who could have done it sooner than they ended up doing the work; 2) The bill was at least twice as much as what we were expecting based on our initial phone call and the job did not require anything out of the ordinary - only plunging a clogged line, and replacing a few parts that "probably" only cost a few dollars; 3) I say "probably" because the invoice did not describe the cost breakdown (i.e.- parts, labor, fees, etc.); 4) when we asked for a breakdown so we could see what we were actually paying for and why the price was so high the response we got was simply "...the receipt you received is what we do for the breakdown. The amount is for the cost of the completed job." This is not just lazy accounting and poor customer service, it is deceptive too. We customers deserve to know exactly what we are paying for (i.e.- parts, labor, fees, etc.). Without this proper accounting and transparency, they could write any job description and then put a final cost down. Otherwise they are not being accountable for their work. They only way they will be held accountable is to not use their services again. Then, maybe they will change their business practices and be more transparent and up front with customers. On a positive note, I found the people I spoke to at the office and the technician to be polite and courteous, and I'm not writing this review with malice. I only write it because I don't want future customers to feel deceived and mistreated as I currently do.
