If you need work done at a reasonable price and at the same time, it’s done professionally, call Melone electric. I am extremely impressed that I wasn’t taken advantage of because that can happen when you don’t know about the work being done. I was walked through the work that needed to be done. We discussed what avenue would be best and safest for my home. At first I thought just a breaker needed to be changed but upon removing the door of the circuit box, we could see the whole box and breakers needed to be replaced. The work was done in a timely manner and was cleaned so well, you couldn’t even tell work was done.

We had an emergency repair and called Melone Electric. They were able to come same day (on a weekend and in a snowstorm). They were able to troubleshoot the issue. The issue identified ended up being a bigger repair than we thought, and additional repairs will be needed. Very professional and fair pricing.

We live in an old house with odd wiring. I needed to install five ceiling fans - two I was able to do without issue, but the other three were problematic. I reached out to Tom, and he was able to come sort the wiring and make sure everything was properly labeled a safe, so that I could proceed with mounting the new fans.

Tom was personable, easy to talk to, and explained things in detail. He was punctual and his rate was quite reasonable.

We recently purchased an old home, and Tom and his assistant helped add GFCI protection to the many ungrounded outlets scattered throughout, address some rust/corrosion in the electrical panel, along with a couple other odd fixes around the house. Melone was great all around. He responded quickly and was professional and fair. We got an outlet installed to move a wire, and the job ended up being trickier than he initially thought. But he stuck with his original quote and did a fantastic job. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an electrician in the east bay.

Tom was incredibly responsive and flexible with his schedule, and he was able to come out that same evening to take a look.

The issue was not easily identifiable, but Tom was patient, thorough, and diligent in troubleshooting the problem. Even as it was getting late, he stayed committed to figuring out what was going on. He was also very neat while working and communicated clearly throughout the process, which I really appreciated.

Tom was great! He came exactly when he said he would which was crucial as i had meetings before and after this appointment. He quickly diagnosed what was happening with some odd wiring in places around my kitchen.
