Both AJ and Nic were very informative and patient in not only the maintenance of, and repairs to the system but also in the description of possible future choices for a system revamp. Comforting to know that there still exists companies and people who truly look out for our interests in a very affable and courteous way. Kudos guys!!

I had an issue with my AC. Vortechs' technician, Hunter was excellent. Very helpful, informative and told me exactly what he did to my system. He answered several of my questions and I could tell he was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend their service.

From the Moment I met Melissa and her team regarding my Minisplit unit, they were nothing but professional and informative. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and every one was answered in a timely manor. AJ came to do a sales/evaluation call at my condo, and was super knowledgeable. I had to get approval from the Condo Association, and we were able to map out where everything would be. I was given a quote very quickly, and was able to apply for financing just as quick. Approved, scheduled and installed! I have been using my Minisplit for sometime now, and it works GREAT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My experience with Vortech HVAC was seamless from the start. AJ was prompt and professional with quote. The 2 day installation of my new boiler and hot water heater was right on schedule and and had no complications with Hunter as lead technician. Using a small local business means a lot to me in that they are accessible if I need them and stand behind their work. Very pleased!

Natural gas furnace failed in January and required repalcement. The Vortechs Team did an outstaning jog of getting the work scheduled and completed as fast as possible to restore our heat and hot water. The entire Team was professional, friendly, and courteous! I most highly recommend Vortechs!

Just switched over from oil furnace and A/C to a heat pump. Vortechs was there every step of the way from planning, financing, working with RISE, and the installation. Vortechs worked with me every step of the way. I found them to be professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Top notch job! And during the -9 F night, the Bosch heat pump kept me nice and toasty!!!!!

Vortechs did a fantastic job installing mini split systems in my home. AJ was excellent explaining everything about the process and estimating the project, and the team that came and installed were amazing. They explained everything as they went and the work is perfect and the cleanup was pristine. I highly recommend them! And I love the minisplit system!

This morning I woke up to a home with no heat. I called Vortech and spoke with Wendy. Within an hour "Hunter" was at my home. He was polite and professional from the start. He assessed the situation and solved my issue without hesitation. He explained what the system needed and fixed the problem. No muss and no fuss. Needless to say, I am totally satisfied with Vortech and will continue to use them for any and all work I may need in the future.

Vortechs replaced our oil boiler and added an indirect water heater to the system. They were as good as could be. Their estimate of the time required was right on the money, their installation was neat, clean, and everything one could hope with such complicated work. Also, we were running on fumes with our old system. Vortechs understood our circumstances and moved quickly to see we had both heat and hot water. They are the best.

Vortechs recently installed our hybrid hot water heater (after our old oil heater failed suddenly). They were quick to respond and get us scheduled, presenting several options to choose from. They took the time to be sure we understood each option fully. They were especially flexible during the installation process when unavoidable issues came up on site. They were able to coordinate with our other project vendors and complete the project quickly. Very polite install team, clean work, and great office support.

Great Customer Service & Professional, Excellent Quality Work! We have used Vortechs HVAC for routine work (ac & heating system routine maintenance) and, very recently, for the installation of a heat pump. Vortechs is so easy to work with! Scheduling is fast and convenient, they arrive on time and do the highest quality job. They are also very responsive! We had lots of questions (the heat pump technology was very new to us) and received such kind and thoughtful guidance throughout our installation process. We truly appreciate the staff at Vortechs HVAC! From Wendy’s kindness during phone calls to AJ’s diagnostics and Dave and Rob’s service time, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We unfortunately started the project with a company that was licensed but not reputable and it was a nightmare. Vortechs came to our rescue. The employees were wonderful in rectifying what hadn’t been done correctly and got the system running the way it needed to be in a timely manner! We will not hesitate to recommend Vortechs to our family and friends and look forward to continued positive experiences with them in the future.

We had AJ come out and give us a quote for a heat pump. He did a great job. Unfortunately the timing didn’t work since they couldn’t do the job for a few months and we had a newborn baby and our AC was broken. AJ was very understanding, but Wendy wasn’t. Fast forward a few years, we needed a new oil boiler and second AC unit, and after scheduling an appointment to have AJ come out, we got a call back from Wendy saying we’re on the “no service list” and canceled the appointment because their first quote was a lot of work and they don’t want to give us another quote to have us not purchase. Careful working with these folks. AJ is smart and good at what he does, but the team expects you to purchase if they provided a quote.

Having a company fabricate a story that I answered/ hung up and didn’t return calls or emails is so far from the truth and truly gross. It’s important to me that any business I work with is honest and trustworthy so if things don’t go as planned we can work through it.

So to have AJ’s say something to the effect of “our schedule is pretty booked out so I totally understand if you need to go a different direction” in the context of an 8-12 week lead time and our AC being broken sounds honest and understanding which built trust. Then to have the company act completely different is really disappointing. It shows that words and actions are not the same. To me it also shows a lack of understanding and empathy, poor notes about the conversations and reasoning, or even worse the entitlement of getting a customers business just simply upon coming on site and building a quote.

To be clear, this recent call was because I wanted to give you a second opportunity and proactively get ahead of replacing my boiler before it broke (like the AC did) - and I said that to you in the phone.

Ironically enough, you couldn’t reciprocate so in the end I’m thankful I avoided working with an organization who is willing fabricate and accuse others to pass the blame rather than taking ownership of the reality and simplicity of the situation.

It shows what might happen if things don’t go the way you hoped. No one needs more stress in their lives so hopefully this provides someone else a perspective contrary to 5 stars so they can be prepared incase things don’t go as expected.
