This year we called upon Sanford for two projects and their work was superb on both.

First, Chris Sanford and his well-equipped team removed a large maple (3 1/2 diameter x 60 ft. high) from my front yard. The tree had sent large runners in several directions which rose above the surface and threatened the porch. The Sanford folks cut down the hulking tree, cut off the runners, ground the stump and runners below the surface, and spread several truckloads of fertile loam. The result was a level and attractive front lawn. The Sanford fee was quite reasonable and no debris whatever remained.

Later this year, I called on Sanford for a smaller but more complex task: removal of large diseased branches from a magnolia situated in the midst of a heavily planted flower and shrub garden. Chis Sanford responded quickly and his team managed to remove the diseased branches without damaging the surrounding garden, to the great relief of my wife.

Chris Sanford and his team take obvious pride in their work; he listened closely to our requests and met them in a timely fashion at a price that was eminently fair. We would never consider calling upon anyone else for tree service.

Good guy, good work, good price. Fred knows his trees, knows his business, well. He came on time, did a difficult takedown, another takedown, plus pruning to enhance the view. He cleaned up all the brush and was done in a day. You couldn't ask for better than that!
