***WARNING- DO NOT USE THIS OIL COMPANY!!!*** I have been mistreated from the beginning. When I informed them that I would be converting to gas heat back in the beginning of 2014 and asked them not to fill my tank late in the spring, they didn't work with me. In August 2014, my oil tank was 3/4 full and Petro shows up to fill it. By chance, I happen to be looking out the window and stop the delivery. My oil tank was to be removed the very next day because the conversion to gas was taking place. In addition to losing over $750 worth of oil this month when my tank was removed, Petro wants to charge me an additional $399 early termination fee, and now, on my last bill there is an another additional charge of $100 Premium/Promotion fee. It doesn't stop there. They are now harrassing me by phone for payment. I have paid them on a payment plan in the amount of $250 a month, every month, yet I am still harrassed for payment by phone, after regular hours. This is the most egregious business I have ever dealt with in my life. Please stay away from this company and take your business elsewhere!!!

I had a service call due to a problem with my furnace. A regional power outage caused an electrical surge once the electricity was restored and it burned out some of the components on the heating system. Doug the service technician from Petro Service identified the problem within minutes and was able to get the heat working again. I have worked with plenty of service techs over the years but Doug is one of the best. Petro Oil/Service is lucky to have a guy this good!

Terrible service and the highest price out there. We tolerated paying an extra dollar or more per gallon for oil from Petro based upon the mistaken assumption that we would receive good service. We are on automatic delivery and we pay for a service contract. 1. They let us run out of oil. 2. They were not staffed appropriately and could not come for over a day. I found another company to get us started with enough oil for the day. When Petro did come the next day, the they charged us at over a dollar more than any other supplier. I also paid another company to do the service that I have been paying Petro by way of contract to perform. Want to test them? Next cold day call their service number and measure the wait time.
