Boiler Room Scam artist. I could not be more disappointed. Note, multi year client. Received the yearly phone call for our service. Based on financial considerations, I told them that I would renew if they kept the same price. No hard feelings if they could not and understood prices go up. Unfortunately, my situation changed and it makes a difference. After a minute or so, the sales rep comes back and says no problem. Good to go, let me put it on the credit card and we are all good. Well, come to find out, the weasel only put us in for front service, not sides or back. well, the back looks awful. I only found out when I happen to be home and I questioned the tech why he only did the front. I get a visit from a manager who tells me what happened. To meet my price,, they cut the service but did not tell me. That is stealing....... period. He agrees to an aeration and seeding to fix. Twice I take a day out of work to be there and twice I get a text saying they are not showing up. We are now at the point where this treatment won't make a difference and I will have to do it myself. STAY AWAY!!!! Mistakes happen but misrepresentation and bait and switch is stealing. PERIOD!!! You cannot get anyone on the phone, just women working from home as customer service. Filing a claim with RI Attorney General's office. Probably won't get me anywhere but at least I will go on record.

UPDATE: Received a call from customer service and they arranged to have a aeration and seeding with a grub service to follow. This was to repair the damage done by no treatment in the backyard. Again, front looked great because it was treated. I give kudos to the customer service person who took the time to do multiple follow ups to make sure the treatment was done. I will reserve amending the rating until we see the results of this work. Again, be very careful when talk to any sales person at Tru Green and make sure you are getting what you are paying for. It is behavior like this that gives sales people a bad rap.

Update. They did repair the damage. I went with them again but make sure I get what I expect. The tech that comes is a young woman. Conscientious and listens and address issues. So far so good. Always trust but verify!

Spoke to Hunter about what he did to resolve my lawn issue. I was very comfortable with his explanation and expertise.

Israel did a good job today and also explained to me about the application today. Make a note in the future, please don't ring doorbell as we are late sleepers!

Aiden was outstanding, he was kind understanding and extremely professional. His attention to detail is greatly appreciated!

This young guy did an excellent job with core aeration and overseeding our property today. Polite, very thorough and explained what he was going to do. Whatever they’re paying him, it’s not enough. His manager should commend him, many young people his age (19) would never do this work. Great job Giovanni. Thank you!

For over 15 years TruGreen has kept our hemlock shrubs healthy and disease free.

I was given quick and professional response to my questions for the technician. He was very helpful and super polite. He gave me some easy pointers to help with the dry patches in my lawn. Thank you so much. Jill from Richmon, RI

Brandon V. filled in well for James R. He was thorough with the granular fertilizer application and spot sprayed where needed to rid/control of annual broadleaf weeds, ground ivy, and crabgrass.

I am very happy having my lawn treated by Truegreen. It remains green all year long. They are ready to treat your lawn again if you are not happy with any application.

Great experience during our first year. Tech Christopher is great and I’ll miss seeing him.

Our service team technician Joshua was again outstanding. He's been to our place several times and has always taken the time to thoroughly answer all my questions and explain the issues with my shrubs. He is very friendly and professional and I really appreciate the great job he continues to do for us. He is certainly a wonderful asset to TruGreen.

Chris did a great job… Very professional. Gave me information about the lawn services /what he was going to do and why. And was very patient with my requests/questions.

Technician Brandon was here today, very personable and professional ,he answered all the questions I had and gave me his expert advice on a project I have in mine. I can tell you this (THE BEST OF THE BEST!!) this true green service person was on time and very good at what he does!(How do I know?) I have cameras on all sides of my property and he applied every square inch of my property! I’ve had 3 other companies and the reason I now have TRUE GREEN is as I said earlier CAMERAS DON’T LIE !!!! I had one company who put a pellet down and after 6 months it was still there white pebbles that never Dissolved????? :GONE!!! All I CAN SAY IS IF YOU GO WITH TRUE GREEN YOU WILL BE A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!😊

Barry did a very good job today. The first over seeding showed no signs of any seeds at all. The aeration was completed but no signs of seeds. The second service showed seeds on the yard..

Ever since I switched to Tru Lawn and landscaper my grass never looked so good! They come at correct intervals so I dont have to worry about doing fertilizer treatments at right time of year. This will be our third year of doing business.

James does a great job and always answers my questions , etc. I’m learning about lawn and plant care from him and i really appreciate it.
