Replaced oil burner with Navien tank-less Gas unit. Very well done, everything on schedule and on-time. Submitted paperwork for National Grid to bring Gas to home. Highly recommended...Also digging the new Gas system, silent operation, constant temperature hot water, small wall mounter unit freed up space where burner was located...
Just an Update - National Grid Paid rebate of $1000 for >95% efficient Gas Bolier -- woohoo! -- Also added two Nest-E Thermostats which 1 was discouted $100 and the other rebate of $50 -- so for $160 total replaced the old Mercury Thermostats -
Very happy with boiler replacement job. Professional from 1st meeting to job completion. Excellent workmanship. No drama. Great job at a good price. Everything as promised on time and at quoted price.

So impressed with their expertise, attention to detail, and pride in their work. Quickly diagnosed problem with new steam heat boiler that had been improperly installed (by another horrible company), and fixed in a jiffy, for a ridiculously low price. Will call them back if ever needed and recommend to anyone I know for heating. They are awesome!!!

New England boiler Works did a great job replacing my old Heatmaker boiler with a new Viessmann Vitodens boiler. They did a very nice clean setup. The room was also cleaned up before they left. I will recommend him to others.

Steve was the best. I am so glad I called him, after getting the run around with a lot of other guys. With Steve every call was ANSWERED and every appointment was kept which really was appreciated. The work was done quickly and when the cold nights come I am glad to know that if I have any problems I am certain Steve will be there to help.

Very professional and trustworthy. No upselling, yet informative.
I just needed someone to take a look at our boiler to make sure it was ready for the winter - hadn't had it looked at for 5 years, so it was time. Steve suggested changing out the motor driven pump (which has been very noisy) and I now I don't lay in bed at night irritated by the high frequency noise. He gave me a heads up on how long my boiler would last but no pressure. Will definitely use NE Boiler for future work. -
Steve and the guys at N.E. BOILERWORKS took on a job that nobody wanted to touch.
My old oil boiler, under my house, in a crawl space had rotted out, and every other hvac contractor in R.I. ran for the hills, or told me they'd call me, or show up tomorrow, and never did.
Steve came the day I called him and told me that it wasn't even that difficult a job, gave me an estimate to convert to propane.
When the job was done in one day, they even came back and waited for the propane dealer to install the tanks, to fire the new boiler up, and test it.
N.E. Boilerworks was the only hvac contractor that came thru and did what they said they could and would do. I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my pipes but Steve and his guys. -
Prompt, professional, honest, knowledgeable and great to work with. Steve and his crew were terrific. We are very fussy and we were very satisfied with our new boiler and water heater! Would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend this company!

Only WISH i could give six stars. Steve and his team couldn't have been more professional. He always stayed in contact and always showed up early. Quoted us thousands less than competitors. And installed a whole new boiler and hot water tank in half a day. Call Steve and his team NOW if you need Anything at all related to your boiler. You will not be disappointed.

New England Boiler Works has been nothing short of incompetent and unresponsive since the day they installed my boiler. From error upon installation that took them weeks to actually show up and address. Not following up on parts promised with repair that were supposed to be installed with the unit, had to get them direct from manufacturer. Leaving the old furnace clogging up my basement for three months and god knows how many phone calls when it was supposed to be removed the day of installation. But here's the kicker. The igniter stops firing not 8 months after installation. They of course refuse to come out and service the boiler, mind you this is with their brand new system completely failing to operate on their joke of a warranty. Says "it must be an oil problem since the unit is new and we don't do oil". Well how interesting for you to diagnose what's wrong from the seat of your office chair and conveniently, it's nothing to do with your boiler...WRONG. Turns out upon having actual professionals service the unit, New England Boiler Breaks installed an igniter with 1 (one) coil. Not two. One. Not even broken off in the unit. That means they installed it this way, and it was in its death throes of functioning poorly from the jump. Just out here slinging broken (used? who knows) parts onto new unit installations. So I had to come out of pocket 8 months in to pay another company for a functional igniter. So that's what a "warranty " with this company is worth.
I have a really hard time believing I'm the only one dealing with this company's repeated mishaps, and in case you're wondering I've been nothing but respectful, understanding and patient with these people throughout the entire ordeal, so I'll take fault for that. I don't believe for a second that these aren't a bunch of fake reviews on here. None of this matches the company I've tried repeatedly to just get the bare minimum out of. Good luck to anyone contracting to do business with them, think about finding a company that actually services and stands behind their products after installation. New England Boiler Works? No, they really don't. -
Absolutely fantastic experience. After my boiler crapped out and Restivo literally left me in the cold, I called NE Boiler Works out of the blue. Steve answered my call, and unfortunately could not come out that day, but came out first thing Thursday. He and his assistant came out right on time. Unfortunately after poking around he said my boiler was dead. He was able to give me a quote right then and there and if I could get the money together or approved through their financing, he could do the work Friday, the very next day. I was able to get the money together, thanks to my tax refund (easy come easy go, right?). His scrappers showed up about 7:45 to remove the old boiler, and a little after 8 Steve showed up, again right on time. By 2PM the boiler was installed and running. He advised me the system would need to be skimmed of grease and oil after a few days of using it to eliminate water hammer that would damage the system, but it was a simple process of allowing the boiler to cool and them draining the boiler until the water comes out clean.
Again I am extremely happy with the service I received and would recommend NE Boiler Works to anyone.
