The service provided on Sunday (same day call) was fast and efficient. Jose, the technician that provided the service, was timely, did a great job and very pleasant. He is an A+

Water leak alarm goes off at the water main in the basement, massive leak from the meter and the main knob won't turn all the way. Nightmare. These guys answered immediately, were there within an hour, and sorted out the whole situation within 30 minutes, and contacted my water utility company to get them involved to complete the fix. Fantastic!

Prompt response following initial call, even though it was not an emergency, and arrived just a little before their scheduled window. I have an older home so it's very nice to have understanding professionals come in that actually want to do the work for which we're paying.

I had one of the worst experiences with SOS Plumbing. The communication was terrible, the service was delayed, and the work wasn’t done properly. I expected a professional company but instead got a headache from start to finish. I honestly wish I had called anyone else.

I generally leave good reviews but I’m a bit baffled after my experience with this company. I believed I had a slow leak under my sink. SOS plumbing came out and searched multiple locations to try to pinpoint the situation and were unable to find a set cause. I appreciated that they checked everything including the shower and toilet. The techs were friendly. Upon leaving they charged me a service fee and then came back and said they under charged. I was confused but paid. Even though nothing was solved - it was what it was. Later that day I took a shower and the water scalded me on cold. I called the company to let them know a dial must have been put on backwards or something when they investigated the shower. I was told this wasn’t possible. And they weren’t responsible for fixing anything. After I insisted this only was after they removed it they said they would “waive the service fee” but possibly have to charge me for parts. How kind. The tech came and told me this is just how showers work. Apparently I have been using my shower wrong my whole life by not realizing that “C” meant burning water and “H” meant even hotter water- (somehow only after they adjusted it). I put the water under the “C” and showed him it was scalding hot and he let me know I just had to keep turning it multiple times in a circle. Allegedly this is the first time I’ve ever used a shower in four years of living here. He also said this is easier for plumbers to have the dial this way (backwards). I have never heard or seen that before - and if that’s the case- Goodluck out there to anyone who has work done. After that he let me know it was backwards and fixed it- and said I was lucky they didn’t charge me a service fee. Suddenly now it was wrong and I was using the shower correctly- and now the water was back to C for cold and H to hot - like a normal shower. Apparently that’s not normal to plumbers ? Check your temps before stepping in.

Had a furnace leak on Christmas Day called SOS the tech Adam was great explaining to me what he was doing. Got me up and running quick would recommend him.

SOS Plumbing wasted my time and failed to deliver on a "free estimate." I took time off work for a scheduled weekday morning appointment to remove an external gas line. Two technicians arrived; one was rude and rushed. The one technician initially claimed the line was "already disconnected." I was prepared to remove it myself and luckily addressed that it was strange to have different diameter gas line outside the house(1.25inch) and inside (0.75inch) to which the second technician said yes it is likely still connected we will get you a quote. They promised a quote, but never sent it. After two follow-up emails to customer service, I still have no quote. Total waste of a morning and time off work, zero service, and nearly resulted in me acting on dangerous, incorrect information. They were there less than 15 minutes total.

Had another opportunity to hire this company to repair another leaky toilet in my home. Adam, who has done work at my house a couple times already was tasked with finding the solution. After finding the cause of the leak and a brief discussion we decided that it was time to replace my 30+ year toilet. He did this on his own in an amazingly short time. Highly recommend this company and all of their crew. My thanks to Adam and owner, Jacob. This is the only plumbing company I will deal with until the end of my life... the good Lord willing.

This was the second time I had them come out to address the same issue. They installed a brand new water valve because it was assumed that was where the leak was. However, if they just looked down, they would have saw a pvc pipe had separated and needed a quick repair. Not happy that I had to pay for 2 house calls.

Let me say that SOS saved my day! I attempted to repair a leaky bathroom faucet myself and ended up, of course, NOT fixing the leak, cross-threading the handle and panicking... I called SOS... I left a message with the answering service for a non-emergency service, and I received a callback from Jacob, who put me on the schedule for "now to noon." I received a phone call from the service tech, Adam, en route - the long way (was given the incorrect address), but promptly showed up with Raymond/apprentice. These guys were kind, professional and efficient! Their parents raised 'em right. Adam was knowledgeable and took the time to share that knowledge with Raymond. I will absolutely call SOS again for another project forthcoming... ahhhhh the kitchen faucet....ohhhhh almost forgot... AFFORDABLE....they cost LESS than an emergency service from the roto guys....thank you again SOS...

They came to install a string filter and fix my shutoff valves that were corroding. They were not only professional and did great work, but they were reasonably priced too. I’d recommend them to anyone.

I had SOS Heating and Plumbing come out to take a look at my boiler. I’m a first time home owner and I had been getting soot in my basement and black smoke out of my chimney. SOS was the first company I called. They came out spent about 30 minutes looking at the boiler. After their inspection Jacob told me that the boiler was really bad, that it was going to be an all day project and that he would not be able to do it that day. He told me it was so bad that he needed to shut my boiler off and I had to sign a waiver stating I was liable for damages if I turned it back on. I’m sure that’s standard practice and fine but then he told me he didn’t have availability to get me in for the next 6 days and that it would cost $2,500. I was panicked I didn’t know what to do and I needed my heat and hot water (it’s December after all). I agreed to have SOS come back in 6 days to clean my boiler. About an hour after they left Jacob called me back and told me he had a cancelation and could get me in right after the weekend (4 days instead of 6), I agreed. I still wanted a second opinion. I called around and asked family and friends (my brother is a contractor so he knew a few people to ask about pricing and they all told me that was a lot for a boiler cleaning, even a really bad one. I had another technician come and take a look at it. They told me that it was bad, one of the worst ones they have ever seen, but still not a $2,500 project. That Technician charged me $350 plus the cost of a couple of parts that needed to be replaced, which totaled $1,100, and he also told me he would not leave me without heat and did it right then and there in just under 4 hours. I can only imagine what I would have paid for those parts on top of the $2,500 that Jacob wanted just for the cleaning. Today I called SOS to cancel the service I had scheduled with them as I no longer need it, and Jacob told me he would be billing me for when they came out to look at it. Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. This company’s communication and customer service are very poor and apparently they over price their services. 10/10 would not recommend, even just for a quote.

I was given a flat quote of $2,500. There was no ballpark estimate. Poor communication.

Not one person once ever mentioned anything about a standard diagnostic bill just to have a technician look at my boiler for me. Poor communication.

I was told there had been a cancelation, not that the schedule was being rearranged to accommodate my need. Poor communication.

For a company that heavily values honesty and transparency they sure did stretch the truth quite a bit in their response to try and cover their tracks. I have no reason to lie about my experience to anyone reading this. My goal is to help others from having a poor experience like I had.

Amazing service. Sunday night. Freezing cold. Everyone I tried calling before was giving an ETA in days not hours. SOS showed up EARLY and were done fast and clean and gave solid advice moving forward. I will be calling in the spring for some more work.

SOS plumbing did a fantastic job. We called them last minute to winterize our cottage, and they jumped right on it scheduling us. They were GREAT!! quick response time to request an appointment. They were informative and did an EXCELLENt job with my pin whole repair of a copper pipe. My plumbing specialist was Nathan, who was polite, clean, informative and thorough. I will definitely use them again for further plumbing needs.

This company is amazing and the two technicians that came out were awesome. They got my heating system back on track and also pointed out some areas of concerned. They were very professional. They were timely and they came on short notice.

I would just like to say how pleased we are with the job that Matt and Nate did for us today. They showed up on time, they were both very friendly and yes they are a returning company now for us. Matt and Nate are hands down 5* TOP NOTCH they get the job done the right way and take the time to walk us through what the problem was. They also took the time to check their work and make sure everything was in working order. We definitely will be having them back, this house needs them.

Pipe burst day of a massive snowstorm and Jacob (the owner) came out within an hour of calling, fixed the problem, identified some other needed fixes and got us back with heat….even when my regular boiler service provider refused to come out.

Could not be happier with SOS and recommend them highly.
