Older fridge temperature kept fluctuating, “thought is was a thermostat, but figured call a “professional”, well Mario wasn’t sure, “process of elimination” up too $800. not happening, told him he was not being of any help whatsoever....he got a bit “obnoxious”....cost $89.00 10 minutes.....
Husband checked it out, bought a new thermostat on line, installed it himself, “under $100.00”
Fridge is keeping the temperature perfect.....Moral of the story ???? DIY !!!!!! “just older now & figured calling a “professional” would’ve been a bit easier 😂

Office does not return telephone calls for service. How do u run a business and stay profitable when you don't return telephone calls is beyond me.

BEWARE OF USING MARIO'S RECONDITIONED APPLIANCE INC

I'm thankful i always hangout near the oven when using it. Our oven was recently serviced yesterday by Mario's Reconditioned Appliance Inc because the ignitor died on it. So we used it last night for dinner and noticed an odd smell, we chalked it up to must be from the new part. As I'm using the oven today I'm like no something is definitely burning. Sure enough i open the broiler and boom there's a melted power tester, batteries and all just sitting there. An obvious fire hazard. My step father then calls them telling them this and here is the response from the 'owner' (person claimed to be owner using ' just in case it's not).

"What would you like me to do? I'm the owner and I did the job, do you want me to fire myself?" The the 'owner' proceeded to joke " Would you like me to cook you dinner?" Then even went so far as to joke "You think you're upset, I just lost a $150 tool."

Those who don't know what a power tester is, it's a cheap small tool that beeps/flashes if there's power in something you touch it to, it costs about $20 for most higher quality types.

Including pictures of the melted one and one that's pretty spot on from Walmart for $6 (if i can attach the pictures).

Disgusting how people can make so light of endangering an entire household. What if it was my grandfather starting that oven and then going back to his room?

Sure i caught it before there was a fire, but what if I didn't, how funny would they find that then?

People make me sick, that was very unprofessional respones.

Had Mario over to bring us a new stove. He just started working on the old one (which was over 10 years old)... then proceeded to spend a half hour on his cell phone doing other business until our property manager kicked him out. HORRIBLE business and never got anything done.

Charge $89.00 service call did not even know what the problem was told me it’s a process of elimination what a way to put yourself out of business. I don’t even charge office visit and I Own a professional business . Referrals go a long way Thank you Mario

Have called for gas stove repair, electric dryer repair, and general "fix-it" small job. Service is affordable, he does a great job, an absolute "first call" business. Really nice guy, too, decent, honest, fair. Thanks!!!

We’ve been using Mario’s to service our gas heater for years now. He used to repair our old heater and we purchased a replacement from him a couple of years ago. He’s always on time and takes time to listen and explain things which is very helpful. I definitely recommend.

These people set an appointment with me, never came, never called and then refused to take responsibility by refusing to come at all when I held them accountable for their unprofessionalism. Horrible experience. I have worked with them numerous times in the past. And because I'm displeased with being stood up, they suggest that I find someone else to service my appliance who is closer to where I live. My location has never been an issue before. Suddenly when they're faced with the truth, a 9 mile drive is too far. Ok...

Mario is the only appliance man who could find the solution to my washing machine troubles! He listened to my frustrations and went above and beyond to find the problem and get it fixed quickly and efficiently. Very trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable in the field. Highly recommend
