Siding Contractor reviews across the US

We worked with Luke for new exterior siding and windows. Luke was very responsive, helpful, and answered all our questions. He kept us up to date on the work being done each day and the timeline. They got the work done in a reasonable timeframe, they were respectful of our property, and did a great job! It looks like a brand new house, we love it!

I had Colonial do my siding and gutters a few years ago and this past summer another company came out to do landscaping and damaged a piece of siding on my house. I contacted Luke of Colonial and told him about the damage and that I needed that piece replaced. We setup a day and time for him to come by and replace the piece with a spare I had from the original job. He was right on time and took care of the damaged piece of siding. When I asked him how much do I owe you he said no charge even though this was not the fault of his company or the siding it self. This company stands behind its work and customers, Id be happy to use them again if I need anymore work done around the house.

I am very grateful for the beautiful job that Colonial Construction, Luke Downham, and his entire team did in the complete replacement of my soffits and guttering. The roof was also replaced, and I am very grateful to Sarah and John Andres, of Andres Roofing, for their expertise.

Colonial Construction replaced a bay window/door in my kitchen leading to the deck. Bret was very professional and also patient with my decision making process. The man who installed was fast and didn’t leave any mess behind. Bret followed up quickly. (Follow up is something I place a lot of value in because very few companies that have done work on our house have done any follow up or thank you.). I will definitely refer this company and use them again.

It was finally time to update / replace the original Masonite board siding, porch pillars, soffit fascia and gutters on our 50-year-old home, so we had received 3 quotes to just that. The quotes were all very close in price and after reading reviews on Google as well as reaching out on Facebook as well as Next Door (App) we decided to go with Colonial Construction. From the moment Bret and his crew showed up, the process was extremely professional, and honestly, we felt like we made new friends throughout the whole construction process. Colonial Construction has been in the construction business far a good length of time and it shows, from the care Colonial took for repeated trips back as we decided on colors and styles for our new siding to helping us locate trusted and honest vendors that assisted with new outdoor lighting and painting existing outdoor fixtures. Very hassle free, not needing money up front to start work was also a very assuring feeling that you are in good hands. In the end, the house looks fantastic and we are beyond pleased, feels like we have a brand-new house when we pull up. We have also had very kind comments from passers-by about the how nice the house looks now which shows how well the final product shines. Thanks to all the Colonial representatives for their work and dedication through it all, we cannot say enough good things and highly recommend them!

I don't know how to post 4.75 stars but it was close to 5. Colonial Construction in my opinion is a trustworthy company and specifically Luke is a very trustworthy person. Every issue and concern that I had along the way was addressed in a prompt and professional manner by him. Construction site clean up during the construction process was my only issue and when I brought it up to Luke it was addressed. immediately. My house looks great..!!!!! Thank you Luke...!!

Colonial Construction and the owner Bret, were incredibly professional and easy to work with. They repaired a gutter that was being torn off by the winds, three stories in the air. Great company and fabulous service.

I contacted Bret from Colonial Siding. He came by the next day and gave me an estimate for the job. The installers were able to start on the project the next week. They replaced siding, soffit, facia, and gutters. My house looks the best it has ever looked. The installers were friendly and they were careful around my landscaping. They took their time and were diligent about replacing some of the rotted original wood. I felt as though the installers were working on my place as though it was their own.
Bret was on the job site several times just to check in and to answer my questions. They were on time and did the job exactly as I had wanted and cleaned up thoroughly. They even returned without me asking to finish caulking above the garage, a spot that Bret had noticed on his final walk through. I have already recommended Bret to several others. He is honest and reliable. By the way, I had several other companies bid on this project. One came out and never followed up with a bid, another company never even showed up to give the bid. Bret made this entire process easy !

Working with Bret and Colonial Construction was a fantastic experience! He gave a fair quote for a complete window replacement, the installation was done right the first time, and the windows have already made my home feel more comfortable. Bret even followed up afterward to check everything and show me how the new windows work. I highly recommend Colonial Construction for quality work and excellent customer service!

Everyone was tremendous, from the owner to the project manager to the craftsmen. They were timely, professional and courteous. They went above and beyond to help me not only with their project but also some other vendors projects I was having done.

With all the strong winds we've had lately, I had some roof damage. I talked to Rob with Kangaroo Contracting about my problem. Rob had my roof fixed, just in time before the next storms hit. Rob and Kangaroo Contracting has my highest recomendaton.

Kangaroo replaced my roof after a hail storm a few years back. Since then they have responded quickly and without hesitation to each and every roof-related question or concern that I have had. As a result of my experience with their roofing work, I have hired them to do additional construction. Their quality and workmanship is top of the line, their rates are always reasonable, and their follow up and responsiveness is some of the best I have experienced. I strongly recommend them for all of your roof and construction needs!

We had an excellent experience with the Kangaroo Contractors. They professionally replaced our roof after damage from a hail storm. And they provided excellent support and service when maintenance was needed. Their staff is responsible and helpful and ready to do the best.

Kangaroo Contractors does great work. They are honest, timely, and their attention to detail is second to none. They have replaced my roof, remodeled my master bathroom as well as a secondary bathroom, and repaired and refinished my hardwoods when my dishwasher leaked. I would not consider having any other contractor work on my home. Kangaroo is the only contractor I recommend.

Ward and his crew are always prompt, professional, and considerate of the property. Kangaroo's work is top notch! Never had a problem with any of the work so I can't say anything about follow up because its not needed. While roofing most of the houses in my neighborhood, I noticed Kangaroo was the only roofer who made sure that his workers needs were met for water and facilities. Happy workers do better work!

9/2020 Big project by Ward and David. David came out and was always courteous and worked well with his crews. Finished much quicker than expected. The only drawback was they showed up at 7 AM on Monday morning. I didn't expect them so early. It got done in one day! Big roof. Neighbors immediately were commenting on how good it looks.

I had used Kangaroo Contractors for home renovation a couple of years ago and when our roof got damaged by the storm, they were the first to come to mind because of their efficiency and professionalism. From the first call for inspection and to the actual work, they gave us peace of mind. Everything progressed seamlessly and we got a good value for our money with a top notch quality service. I will recommend Kangaroo Contractors anytime.

Kangaroo Contractors did excellent work. They came out within a day of calling them - did a GREAT inspection - saw a few things that we didn't even realize and recommended a fix. They fixed a leaking vent on our roof, took down an old "direct TV" dish (repaired the roof), and installed a new and much better dryer vent. We didn't realize the dryer vent was so bad - they really saved us on that one. We approved their estimate and they were there in a few days and got everything done. VERY professional, GREAT communication, and overall a phenomenal company to do business with.

Excellent work, highly recommended! After a severe hailstorm, they replaced my roof, gutters, and some windows, and they also repaired and re-stained my fence. In all areas, they were fast, efficient, on-schedule, and highly skilled. I liked their work so much that I also had them install new gutters all around my house -- which also turned out great! Their prices were very reasonable. David and Ward were very easy to work with. I highly recommend them and Kangaroo.

Excellent service from the very beginning until completion of job. They handled all billing with Insurance company. Besides the roof replacement, the claim entailed interior painting and Sheetrock repairs. Also replaced patio doors, sun screens, gutters and downspouts. Never expected this kind of professionalism from a roofing contractor. It was the BEST experience I have ever had with any company EVER! If you want great service from a company that use quality supplies and are professional , I highly recommend Kangaroo Contractors. Project manager, was the best I have every worked with. He saw that everything was scheduled and always kept me informed. You will not be sorry to have chosen this company to do your work.
