Skylight Contractor reviews across the US

Marquan did a fine job installing our skylight. Called before arrival, arrived on time, worked hard, discussed the best location in home, installed with protection of furniture, polite and efficient. Whole process took less than two hours. Pleased with the work and product.

I called yesterday because the sky light fell down as we were trying to disassemble it to clean it. We found out we were doing it wrong. They came the very next morning to fix it. Marquan was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. The Sunshine Experts team is so professional, and quite personable. Thank you so much!

Follow Up Review: Outstanding Service Rescuing Our Solar Skylight Installation

After a frustrating experience with another contractor who botched our Velux solar skylight installation, we were relieved to find Sunshine Experts in Tucson. What could have been a nightmare turned into a testament to their exceptional expertise.

The previous installer clearly didn't understand Velux products and left us with a non-functioning solar operation skylight.

Within days of contacting Sunshine Experts, they diagnosed the multiple issues and presented us with a clear plan to correct everything properly.

What impressed us most was their deep knowledge of the Velux product line. They didn't just patch the problem—they completely reinstalled the solar skylight to manufacturer specifications, ensuring the solar panel was positioned correctly and all flashing details were weathertight. Their attention to detail was remarkable.

The transformation was immediate. Our solar skylight now operates flawlessly with the remote control, and we haven't seen a single drop of water. We're finally enjoying the natural light and ventilation we originally hoped for, plus the energy efficiency of the solar-powered operation.

Sunshine Experts stands behind their work (And others negligence) with genuine pride in craftsmanship.

The team was courteous, kept our home clean during the work, and took time to explain the proper operation of our Velux skylight.

If you need skylight installation or repair in Tucson—especially if you're dealing with Velux products—Sunshine Experts is the only call you need to make. They turned our disappointment into complete satisfaction!

We couldn't be happier with Sunshine Experts in Tucson! When our skylight (originally installed by another company whose ROC license was later suspended) started giving us problems, we were worried about finding reliable help. Fortunately, we discovered Sunshine Experts, and they completely exceeded our expectations.

From the initial consultation to the resolution plan, Amy, Marquan, and John demonstrated true professionalism and expertise. We're very pleased with Sunshine Experts. Marquan did an excellent job installing our new solar tubes. He was competent, thorough, and friendly, explaining everything and answering all of our questions. We love the daylight in our home.

Sunshine Experts did a great job installing my tube skylight. They were professional, and John upheld our agreement as we discussed. I am very satisfied with the quality of work his crew delivered. Thank You for a job well done. I recommend this company for your skylight installation needs.

Marquan did an excellent job of installing our new Sun Tube in a kitchen location that was sorely in need of additional lighting. Personal and technically proficient, he accomplished the installation in the matter of a few hours and cleaned up the area afterwards.

Stand behind their work and the products they sell!

Really impressed with their customer service both at the time of sale and years later if there are any issues.

A couple of years ago I got a Solatube solar fan and several solatube lights installed by Sunshine. The experience itself was really great and the guy who came out at the time was super friendly and had all the stuff in his truck so he was able to do the install the same day as the consult.

Years later the lights have brought so much light to our kitchen and garage. They were perfectly placed and Sunshine did a great job with no leaks or other issues.

The fan however did start to make noises after a few years. I contacted John at sunshine and he mentioned this was a issue with some that Solatube had sold at that time and it should be something they'd warranty no issue even though Sunshine no longer did business with Solatube as Solatube had begun to have issues. He did say that Sunshine would happily do the install if Solatube would send a new fan and gave me all the info for the warranty.

Solatube was not willing to stand by their product without charging me additional fees ultimately. But John and Sunshine made it right! They stepped up with a solution that got the fan replaced and they'll handle solatube because they stand behind their customers and their sales!

My issue is now resolved with very little hassle to me... Solatube put me through more than Sunshine did.

Very impressed with Sunshine and will continue to recommend as I had several times previously due to my satisfaction with the lights. This is a good company with great customer service and good installs.

Sunshine experts replaced 7x skylights in my home, 3 of them with solar powered open air skylights. We were very pleased throughout the entire process; they had very quick initial availability, which was of great value to us with our busy schedule, and were flexible when we wanted to make a slight change/upgrade at the end of the process. I would definitely recommend them to others looking for skylights!

We had a very good experience with Brighter Concepts. It was easy to make an appointment with Gina for installation. Their installer, Frank, was patient with our many questions since we were not sure how many solatubes to install and what kind. Frank did a great job with installation, was very organized and neat, and was very careful to install the solatubes in the right locations. He worked way past 5 pm to get the installation done in one day. We were so happy with our solatubes that we made another appointment to have him install a couple more. Very happy with the product, the service and the responsiveness of this company. We would highly recommend this company.

Amazing! As soon as the leaves start falling and the birds start flying away I notice the shift in light and I am not a fan. After my installation today, it rained pretty heavily and I still had full light in my home. I am so happy. They are professional and reasonably priced. I was quoted twice as much by a competitor. I'm super happy.

Brighter Concepts turn our old, dark, kitchen into a bright, beautiful kitchen. We can finally turn off the overhead light and enjoy a room full of sunshine!

Brighter Concepts fit our installation into their schedule the week after we meet. Some thing that's simply unheard of in these days of labor shortage. The installation only took a few hours and cost less than anticipated. We are thinking about a second skylight in the dining area.

The Solatubes I had installed have been nothing short of awesome. They were properly installed (no leaking from the roof) and they look great. The nightlight feature has been wonderful as well. Brighter Concepts did a great job. I definitely recommend them.

This is the second house that we have had a solar tube installed. Our first house we had one installed in kitchen and living room. Brightened up our house so much you really thought lights were on. Got the night lites in them also. Wake up in the middle of the night and no need to turn a light on. Frank the installer is exceptional. Sold that house and built another. Didnt have a window in main bath and remembered how well
We liked the solar tube in old house called Gina and had Frank come and install a solar tube in bathroom. Again brightened up the room. Completely satisfied and I would tell anyone to get one.

Excellent to work with. Great products. Indow windows make a big difference to temperature control in the house- to keep it warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The Solatubes provide nice light to a previously dark space. Brighter Concepts is great to work with and provided very timely communications and estimates. Their installers are very experienced and highly professional.

Great job. We have lots more light, both during the day and at night with the solar night light. It’s comforting.

I had a solar tube installed in my kitchen ceiling. Super nice people to work with and installed within a week. I love all the natural light. I love it! Steve the sales rep was easy to work with and explained everything and had pricing up done up front. Great job guys! Thank you!

From estimate to appointment to installation to cleanup…. everything was perfect. We had a 10” Solartube installed in our master bath. It gave us more light than the two 22” light tubes that were previously there.

I had 2 solar tubes that were about 20 years old replace due to putting on a new Roof. They updated the tubes with a night light feature which is mainly powered by the sun during the day and works great in our normally dark staircase, it mainly lights like a full Moon !

Great install. The two person crew clearly knew what they were doing-- and the total install was less than two hours. We've installed solatubes in every house we've owned for 25+ years. Always so pleased with the light it brings into our houses

We had an old and improperly installed solartube light get damaged in a windstorm and needed it replaced mid-winter. Brighter Concepts responded quickly with lots of information, a variety of design options, and gave us a very competative price quote. Frank had to come out twice because the first time the weather wasn't cooperating, but he was able to reschedule soon after. The work was completed in roughly two hours and looked great with everything being cleaned up perfectly inside and out. Brighter Concepts is a great group of people and deserve their excellent reputation.

Our experience with Brighter Concepts was exceptional and we couldn't be happier with the completed project. Our installer was friendly, on time and completely professional. He cleaned up after the install very well, we couldn't even tell he'd been there except for the beautiful white sunlight coming into our previously dark loft, Thanks for everything! AAA+++
