Steve came out and did a huge job for us removing a LOT of trees, some huge. He was truly amazing!! Very good prices, did such an amazing job, got the job done quickly and very professionally and during the process made sure everything looked nice while also cleaning everything up at the end! The best tree service around hands down! I'm forever a customer!

This super friendly crew came, gave us a quote and sent it via text plus their insurance information without me even having to ask. Steve made sure to send text updates on when he'll be arriving (which many other contractors won't do anymore, sadly) and crew showed up professionally dressed and with great PPE, so you can tell Steve cares about his crew.
They were very careful with a tree removal around a fence line, leaving no property damage and cleaned everything up before leaving. Absolutely will not use any other arborist as long as Steve is around. Can't sing his praises enough!

Steve and his crew were amazing. We had a large tree at the back of our property fall on our shed and were in need of a serious cleanup. Steve and his crew took care of tree and Steve himself even assisted my husband in putting the tarp on the damaged shed. The crew were efficient and dedicated. The crew removed a gnarly tree within 24 hours of the estimate. The tree had branches as wide as the diameter, was between 2 homes, and some heavy branches were resting on our roof.
They were professional, attentive, and really hustled. After they left, you’d never know a tree was there!

I absolutely can not say enough about this crew. Quote was very reasonable, and they do top notch work. They removed 10 trees from our property, two of the 10 where fairly large and very close to the house. They brought them both down without any issues and kept us and our property safe. These guy's work non stop while they are on the job. Once they completed the job they seeded and spread straw to help our yard recover from all the traffic. We could not be more please with the work! Out on a Limb did an excellent job! They arrived early, worked efficiently, and were very friendly. I had two large trees by my driveway covered in ivy and they had no issues taking them down safely beside my house. I’m really happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

Steve and his crew completed a very large project including an 80 inch diameter tree. They cleaned better than when they started and have all the right equipment to get the job done fast. I highly recommend this Company!!

Received a fair timely quote after calling Steve and worked together on an date to complete the work due to weather conditions. They arrived on time with a crew of four and the appropriate equipment to take care of the work agreed on, which included taking down 4 trees and trimming 3 very large Oaks. Work was completed safely in a fair amount of time and clean up was done well. This was the 3rd tree company I have used in the 10 years in SC and the only one I will call back again.

I live in the city of rock hill and on January 9, 2024 pretty bad storm that affected most of the Eastern United States rolled through and caused a big ole tree to fall into my garage and onto the roof of my house. I contacted Steve Walker, who was recommended by a friend, shortly after the tree fell and he was at my house inspecting the damage within a few hours.

Steve provided an estimate to have the tree removed and that included disposal of the waste. He told me he could get started the following day -1/10/24 -and told me that time at which she would arrive. So, this morning he and his crew arrived at the time promised and they promptly began their work.

Several years ago, I had a tree removed from my backyard that was a 100 year old white oak tree. The tree "experts" that brought the tree down left my yard in absolute shambles. Additionally, they didn’t remove the waste from the tree and I had to have somebody else remove the refuse. The guys who were supposed to clean up the yard damaged it even more. I then hired someone to resod the yard sod in the yard. So, all in all, that tree removal cost me close to $10,000. I briefly shared my previous experience of tree removal with Steve. He explained to me that he understood and would do everything to make sure any damage to the yard would be minimal.

I can tell you in no uncertain terms that Steve was true to his word. If I didn’t know any better, the crew was treating my yard and my property like it was their own. By the time he was done he and his crew left my yard in better shape than they found it. That is to say that if someone coming into my yard for the first time would never have known that a big old tree had been removed recently: no gouges in the turf; no tracks in the turf; no sawdust, twigs, branches, and tree trunks left behind (they even used a blower to make sure that the smallest amount of waste was no longer visible).

Once the tree had been completely removed and the crew was bringing the heavy machinery to the vehicles out front, they laid mats down in front of the tracks of the bucket and backhoe as both were being removed from the yard, up the driveway and placed on the truck. Their attention to detail and the care they take while doing their work is easy to identify. I could tell that they take great pride in what they do. I was charged the price I was quoted. Not a penny more. Steve is a man of his word.

I have a couple of other trees in my yard and around my house that I would like to have removed at some point and I will not hesitate call Steve from Out On A Limb Tree Service when that time comes. Based on my initial experience, if I could give more than five stars I most certainly would.

Steve and his crew did an excellent job taking down a dying pine tree on our property line. They gave a quick and fair estimate and then were able to complete the work sooner than originally scheduled. Grateful to know this trustworthy tree service - and would definitely use them in the future.

This is an excellent tree service. Jerry Parent and his crew were efficient, professional, helpful and thorough. They are experienced and skilled, reaching into difficult places to drop trees carefully. Our yard looks all cleaned up after their work was done. The tree branches and trunks fell expertly right where they should! We were very grateful for their precise and thoughtful service. Trudy Parent was also extremely helpful and pleasant.

I had a fabulous experience with Out on a Limb from the call for a quote to when they left my property much better then they found it. I had a tree hanging over my roof in a precarious way. Steven came and gave me a quote and proof of insurance. Steven is very professional as is his crew. He explained everything and did not ask for any money until the job was finished.He is a problem solver and finds ways to make things work out for the best. I plan to have them back to do more work for me and I would recommend Out on a Limb to anyone who wants a professional job at a fair price.

Out On A Limb Tree Service was recommended by my employer, who had several tress removed from the business’ property. My home had two very large oak trees in the front yard. One of them had recently died. There was also a tree that sat in the side yard and was also inside a wood privacy fence that did not provide egress into that part of the property. The trees were hazards, especially given their age and the recent increase in the strength of storms. We called Steve and he came out and provided a very reasonable estimate (I jumped on it without any desire to negotiate because it seemed so reasonable) that included haul away. We were informed that a single section of the fence would need to be removed in order to get to the third tree. I was told that the crew would take great care to do the work with as little disturbance to the structure as possible.

A date was set and scheduled. On the day the work was completed, I returned home in the evening and all three trees were gone which was the only sign that a crew had been there. I did not think that the fence section had been removed since I saw no evidence of this. Later, when Steve returned for payment, I told him how impressed I was with how well the property looked and acknowledged that it didn’t seem the fence section was removed. Steve let me know that his crew did, in fact, remove the section and put it back. I was in shock. Steve and his crew took such good care of the property. I found no damage to the lawn or the house and I didn’t have any neighbors complaining about an inconsiderate tree service crew. Quite the opposite.

Out On A limb Tree Service is PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, AND PROMPT. Steve is a man of his word and he has great people working in his company. If he tells you it will be done a certain way, bank on it. I have another tree that will need to come down soon and I plan on calling Out On A Limb Tree Service to get the job done. I wouldn’t consider any other tree service. Period.
