So glad we found Tierra Design for our landscaping project! They’re the nicest couple, super friendly, professional, and really go above and beyond. They replaced our old rocks with new river rocks and added them along the fence line, which totally transformed the space.

They even moved a few plants around just to make everything look its best. The whole process was smooth and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I love that she has the layout and designs illustrated in her landscaping program, it was nice to see our vision come to life. We’ll definitely use them again. I can’t say enough good things about this landscaping company! They completely transformed my backyard — from helping me design the layout to installing a beautiful retaining wall, a paver patio, and a fire pit. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they worked quickly without ever cutting corners. Tierra Design was amazing to work with! Nicolle made our first patio renovation such a great experience. I loved that it’s a locally owned business that truly cares about their clients.
Nicolle went above and beyond—she even met me at landscape suppliers to help pick out brick and was so patient with me throughout the process. She really took care of us. The 3D design program she used was also incredible—it helped us visualize everything ahead of time and make changes until it was perfect.

Luke was great to work with. He communicated well, listened to our needs and also had great suggestions. Would highly recommend, our landscaping looks great.

Let me start by stating that we are not people who usually go and write bad reviews. We only
do this because he has not once tried to make things right. Luke is only good at trying to sell
you more but has a hard time standing by his contract and word.
We accepted a contract with Luke from Luke’s Landscaping after going over our needs of
landscape beds, grade work (front and back of our house), seeding of those areas and for
plants.
When we accepted his estimate for our landscaping needs, following subjects were part of that
specific contract.
- “Grade the entire lawn to drain to the back yard, starting in the front by the first garage.
Bring in black topsoil for the last few inches. Seed, rake, and pin erosion mat down on
the sloped areas”
- A warranty of one year for all plants purchased and planted by him.
He let us know the original agreed amount wouldn’t be enough the day before planting the
plants, and we agreed, even though it was financially hard, to pay about $1000 more. The
black topsoil was never laid and therefore grass didn’t grow at the back of our house and
some parts of the front too, only weeds. He told us he was going to take care of this and
reseed as many times as necessary. However, he failed to deliver on all fronts.
He ended up telling us that:
1) he was not covering a warranty on the plants and we should pay for any plants and labor
to change them although it was part of the contract and it was specified several times, even
via text messages and verbal communication. His excuse is that the nursery he bought
them from, doesn’t exchange them for contractors anymore. It seems to us, that change
happened after he made a contract with us and he should honor his part. And even if that is
the case, why would he charge us labor on this again?
2) after trying to sell us another erosion mat (that should have been covered anyway), he
wants us to pay for him to get rid of the weeds and reseed although this is covered in the
existing contract too. At this point, treating weeds isn’t going to help since grass never grew
in certain areas.
A quote from his contract: “I pride myself in doing things the right way. I will not go light on
materials or take shortcuts when installing your landscape. I’m working on building a great
reputation for quality, long lasting work. One year warranty on all plants that I purchase and
plant”.
Well, let us state that this is not the case. We have asked him several times in the past
weeks, to have a sit down to talk things over but he has not reacted to our request.
Contractually, we have kept our end of the contract by paying the amount due (and even
$1000 extra). He never even came to see his “quality, long lasting work” and I have sent
him the pictures I upload now to this review. If you value your sanity, time, and peace of
mind; do yourself a favor and find another landscaper.

I highly recommend Luke's Landscaping for any outdoor project you need! Luke did an awesome job on regrading and sloping, laying pavers, brick, placing fence panels and much more. Luke did what he said and communicated before, during and after this project.

Luke was prompt, professional, and courteous. He was quick to give an estimate, gave suggestions for our property, and answered all of my questions. Luke was very responsive throughout the process and kept me informed as to the timeline that he would get to my project.

Our home had some seriously neglected landscaping and he was able to spruce everything up and got it looking fantastic at a fair price. Luke added a rock bed to front and back of my house. He was very professional and cooperative through the whole process. I tried to coordinate the bury of an electrical line with his project and he was willing to work around that future project and stay within my budget. I am already receiving compliments on his work and recommend him and his crew highly.

If we could give Luke 10 stars we would! Lukes creativity, knowledge, work ethic, attention to detail, and communication with us throughout our project was exceptional. Our boulder wall with the paver patio is STUNNING! We absolutely love it! Thank you, Luke!

We had a drainage issue near our back patio door, which was previously concrete. He broke that up for us and laid down some beautiful pavers! it looks beautiful, and no puddles, even after a wet season! I hope he's not too busy to do more for us in the future!

Luke did an outstanding job landscaping my entire property. Ripped out the cheap plastic edging and put pavers all the way around the house. Put pavers around all my Maple trees that the mowing service was scraping the bark off every time they mowed! Recommended a change to my backyard plan that turned out 10 times better than what I had anticipated. All of this at a super reasonable price. And to top it all off, Luke is a consummate gentleman in every sense of the word. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Luke's Landscaping for any of your landscaping needs.
