If I could give 10 stars I would! My 7 year old home had a wall that was rotting inside due to improper window installation by the builder (Maronda). After doing a LOT of research I selected Reitter Stucco to tear down the wall and rebuild it. I had to wait and boy were they ever worth the wait. The team that did the repairs were knowledgeable, professional and a delight to have at my home. Ed and Brett kept me informed every step of the way and Ed and his team cleaned up the entire work site daily. Then came the painters…oh my goodness! What perfectionists! The pride that David takes with his work was a privilege to observe. All my neighbors have commented on the process and on how my house looks now. Thank you and I highly recommend this company. As an additional note, for future readers, this all look place in 2020/2021 in the middle of a construction boom and a shortage of workers. I’m sure there were much bigger, more profitable jobs competing for my slot but The integrity of Brett and Reitter Stucco was great. They told me where I was in the queue and kept me informed every step of the way.

I hired Reitter Stucco and Supply Co to replace the stucco on one wall of my house after interviewing 5 companies. I could not be happier with the job they did. Ryan came to my house for the inspection and estimate and was the supervisor of the job. He was here every day to check on the job and answer any questions I had. Mack, Ed and Noe were the crew and they did a fantastic job. They were on time everyday, explained what they were doing, and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were very respectful to me and my property and were very concerned about my satisfaction with the job. After they were finished, Ryan came back to my house and leveled out the ground near the wall and explained the importance of the ground level in maintaining the stucco. Brett, the Service Manager, was very responsive in sending me copies of their Certificate of Insurance Liability and Certificate of Ohio Workers’ Compensation. I would hire Reitter again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone needing stucco work.

Update - We contacted the project manager after completion (November 7, 2025) and he was going to "look into it", he did not contact us again for almost two weeks (Nov. 20, 2025) until told to by the company owner to look into "fixing the grout around the floor". This is not the accountability or responsiveness I would look for on a project that is a major focal point.

Our floor to ceiling fireplace was originally done by Reitter but had to be torn out and redone, so our expectations were based on previous install with the exact stone and mortar used. It did take direction /correction, they had the photos and saw in person, but they were very accommodating at getting the stone placed. The issue was in the mortar application. I'll adjust my review based on how the issues are fixed, but workers left before showing the mortar or the damage. I am very disappointed and upset by the sloppy work and impact on the fireplace appearance. This was the focal point of a long and stressful home addition, and I loved the original version, decorating it seasonally and looked forward to a holiday mantle. Now I avoid looking because the issues are so ugly and obvious.

With their input decided on not having mortar along the floor - they mortared the floor with an uneven line (1 inch setback) in only one section.

Throughout its visible that the mortar wasn't smoothed or packed with blobs and gaps including around the fireplace opening.

Obvious gaps without mortar at eye-level along the mantle, only on one side.

Visible wire brush marks weren't smoothed, wires stuck in mortar along with pieces of their tape.

Significant damage to the mantle which we had stressed to be careful with - they left without showing.

Throughout the fireplace the grout is sloppy, blobby, unevenly applied, and appears not to have been stirred, or was applied on top of a different product.

In contrast the original fireplace had smoothed mortar without gaps around many stones, had even mortar lines along the floor and wall, and they spoke to us after showing the mortar and how to keep smoothing it, and where there was damage from their work.

Jon just finished patching some holes I had in my stucco and he did an amazing job not just patching the hole but blending it in with the existing texture pattern of the house. My job ended up being slightly bigger in scope then I had told John originally but he was more than happy to help me take care of everything I needed. Can’t recommend him enough, definitely someone you want to call if you have any stucco needs.

I hired John Boone to repair some damaged exterior stucco. Although I knew it would be difficult to match the new stucco with the existing stucco detail, I believe John’s work is as near to perfect as you can get. John is easy to work with, showed up on time, and needed no supervision. I’m more than happy with the repairs he made and highly recommend him to anyone needing stucco repair.

Absolutely on point! John gave me a very fair estimate. Then showed up exactly when he said to do the job. His crew was professional, hard working, and competent. The exterior walls at my house needed patching and stucco. Excellent job John!

Called John to perform a stucco repair on a new build. Original contractor/ builder would not honor builder warranty. John is an expert craftsman with integrity. He does exceptional work for a very fair price. You won’t be disappointed!

Could not recommend this business enough. Very courteous, professional and easy to work with. They came out right away to inspect my house for some stucco repair after having new windows installed; I had an estimate the same day and the work was completed a week later and it looks fantastic.

I recently remodeled my kitchen, and removed a 3 X 3 window. I had already done the scratch coat and brown coat myself, but decided I would let a professional handle the texture, as I have never worked with stucco before. Plus, I'm getting old, lol, and my arm hasn't recovered from the last time I lifted an eighty pound bag of stucco mix. John came out and was an absolute delight to work with. I am very pleased with the work he did, and would highly recommend him. I was afraid with all the new construction going on, that I might have trouble getting someone to come out and do such a small job, but that wasn't the case at all. His price was very fair, and I believe I got my.money's worth. I would definitely call him again if I ever needed more stucco work done.

I had noticed various small areas around the exterior of my house that required the attention of a stucco professional. John Boone Construction had so many positive reviews I called and set up an appointment. John Boone Jr, the owner came by. I was immediately impressed with the respect and courtesy he extended to me. That was followed by the minute inspection of the exterior with my input. His wealth of knowledge and expertise was demonstrated throughout the time he was there. I was extremely impressed with the way he was able to describe and diagnose the problem areas. We set up a date for work to commence and even with inclement weather he and an employee were able to carry out all repairs. The work was meticulous! He had taken detailed notes on our first meeting therefore he knew exactly what needed to be done. He is a true professional in every sense! I cannot recommend him and his company highly enough! Please call him for all your stucco needs.

I don't normally do much rating when it comes to a Company or a person or persons. However in this case I was very compelled to do just that. John Boone an company cane an gave an estimate for stucco repairs on our home ,he was prompt in the time he said he would arrive .An the same goes for the days an time we discussed for them to do the work ,even texting before arrival . Was also very fair on the pricing . John an his crew are very good at What they do so much so I would say there work was extraordinary ,right down to the clean up .It was also a pleasure watching this crew ,by that I mean they worked together an 1 man knew what needed to be done along with the rest ( working together efficiently Hugo ,Marcella ,were a couple names that I remember .I hav to say this job went as I was told .An I am very pleased with the overall experience John Boone Stucco .An would Highly Recommend them to anyway

For six years I have been surface patchIng the stucco on both sides of my house. The cracks in the stucco kept spreading every year and I would try to patch them to keep the moisture from entering into them. I decided it’s time to call the professionals to take care of this problem. I searched a few different stucco companies in the North Port area. After reading all the reviews from this website, I immediately contacted John, because his reviews were so encouraging and honest.
John arrived at my house at the exact time he had told me he would be there to access the damage,
He had the affordable estimate ready by the following day. The job was completed within that week! The stucco was perfectly matched to the existing stucco! John and his team did an amazing job!!

I hired John for a small job at my mom's house. Most contractors won't bother with small jobs, but John was willing and able to take it on. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He evaluated the project and gave me a quote the next day. Within a couple of weeks the job was completed and beautifully done. I would highly recommend John Boone for any stucco job you need.

I can't express how absolutely wonderful this company is! The job they did for me is perfect; better than I hoped for!! John and his crew are personable, precise, very friendly, prompt, and extremely hard working! John makes sure everything is done as if the home they are working on is his own! They did everything they told me they would; and even a few extra little things. Communication is key with clientele and John stayed in contact with me throughout our 3 days worth of work. I highly recommend john for any of your stucco work! I reached out because some of my walls were crumbling. He got back to me right away a day later came out to give me a quote which was a lot less than the previous quote I got. Called John about an unusual stucco job on my home. I had some old wooden decorative boxes under my eves that needed to be updated to look more streamline with the house. John was incredibly responsive, very friendly and immediately came out and gave me a fair quote. The guys were on the job earlier than expected and did an absolutely phenomenal job!! Not only was the work perfect in every way but the workers moved my potted plants out of the way so they weren't damaged and they meticulously cleaned up after themselves. If you want someone who is communicative, honest, fair and provides top notch work look no further, John Boone is your guy!

We contacted John re: repair of chipping stucco and rusting around outdoor front entry columns. He gave us an estimate along with "what if" scenarios. He scheduled the job and even texted when he was in his way.
He completed the job in one day. His workmanship was impeccable. We were very satisfied with the work he did and lines of communication he maintained.(a rarity in FL).We would highly recommend him for your construction projects.

John is a top notch, first class, contractor. He came by the house as promised. He provided a reasonable price for all the work that we needed done and he did a outstanding job. The crew that he works with is respectful and careful to prep all areas before work is started. The stucco work he did around our windows could not have been better. John Boone was recommended by a contractor friend, who had him re-stucco his home. I was impressed that John does the work himself along with his co-worker. They taped heavy paper over my windows and doors to protect them and did a fantastic job with the repair work on my 1960s house. Upon completion of the work John walked me around the house to go over all areas of repair that I had pointed out during his initial visit. John is the second-generation owner of this family business and takes pride in a job well done. As you can see from all the previous reviews you won’t find a more knowledgeable, reliable, friendly, dependable and trustworthy person for any type of stucco work you could need, and his prices are reasonable. Thank you, John, for the wonderful job you did for me.

After much searching John was the only stucco worker that came to even give me an estimate. He was very fair, and honest about what needed to be done. They were careful to send pictures and get approval of more estimates when more needed work was noticed. The work was prompt and I barely even noticed they were here. Super grateful it was work I could get done before the rainy season.
