Avoid Steve’s HVAC services at all costs. His reputation is tarnished by a series of poor decisions and subpar work. In Germantown, he installed two new AC units, only to have one shut down due to being oversized and lacking enough registers. Instead of diagnosing and fixing the issue, he irresponsibly cut a hole in the supply plenum in the attic, directing excess air there. His priority is to sell you a new unit rather than provide a proper solution. Furthermore, he outsources insulation work to an unknown company, compromising quality. His track record is littered with botched jobs, and he struggles to retain employees. Protect yourself and your home by steering clear of this unreliable company.

I highly recommend Southern Comfort Air Heating and Plumbing LLC. My unit went out ,we called and Steve and they came out and replaced my unit all the same day. My unit was old and I knew it was time for a new one. We had called three other companies but all of them were quite a bit more expensive. Thank you to Steve and his crew we are now ready for the summer and saved money to boot. He is number one on my list for all our HVAC and plumbing needs.

These guys do a great job! They make sure everything looks clean too. They will come out on holidays too!

This company was subcontracted by the company renovating our home. Because we're not a/c savvy, we didn't find out how bad they ruined our heating & a/c.
They were hired to move the unit in the attic. Well, they moved it, cut the a/c drain pipe which leaked into the ceiling and caused us to have to get that fixed. Then, thanks to our insulation guy, we found that they didn't even connect the return vent duct; not even close. It was six inches from the connection. Then, out of the 4 bedrooms we have, they only connected the duct to one bedroom; so there was no heat or a/c in three of those four rooms. And they said the job was done.

Amazing service! When the house was 94º and I was in a panic, Southern Comfort really came through for me. Very reasonably priced too! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Very honest and professional. Our AC went out late Friday afternoon and Steve was able to get to us first thing the next morning. He could have charged us for a part, but let us know the part should still be under warranty and referred us first to Carrier. He assured us he could get part and repair, but advised us it might be more cost efficient for us to go back to the dealer. We will only be calling him for any and all future issues with our HVAC and recommending him to others.

The guys came out first thing in the morning to evaluate my existing unit and found that my old unit was fried. They had a new outside and inside unit installed by lunch for a reasonable price.

These guys are awesome. Kept me updated on all the work they would need to do and explained it all very well. Great service! Prompt and efficient . I will definitely use them for all my heating and a/c services. Highly recommended
