Jake at Grind City Stump Removal is an excellent resource for clearing stumps. We are repeat customers, and he has exceeded expectations every time!

Jake and his crew worked on my property all day without taking breaks, they were fast and efficient . They removed small to large trees and cleaned up. I will use them again.

Grind City did a thorough job of trimming a large oak tree; they were very careful, used ropes for large limbs falling and cleaned up as if they never did any work! I highly recommend this company.

Wow. Wow! WOW! I was lucky enough to get him same day. He gave me an AMAZING deal. Just needed 1 stump grinded but I couldn't pass up his price for 2. Not only that, he did 2 stumps at My mom's and now he's at my uncle's house. This guy's work is impeccable. Cleaned up great. I'm definitely going to utilize him for 2 trees I need removed and recommended him to anyone and everyone who needs this service. Thanks SO MUCH!

Jake did a great job grinding out a stump from a tree we lost a few years ago. Very friendly & excellent job as well as a through clean up! Definitely recommend!!

Look, let me tell you something. I hate to call someone in to take care of things in my lawn. So when I started looking for someone to do a little bit of landscaping and stump removal I was already irritated. However, Jake is one of the most professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. To say he did an amazing job is an understatement. You really won’t be disappointed with the work he does.

I hired Jake to do some work at my mom’s house. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. His communication was prompt. He came to do the work quickly. His work was excellent. My mom was extremely complementary of him, his professionalism, service and care. He went the extra mile to help her. Will recommend to anyone who needs this service. Much appreciated!

Jake arrived on time and worked swiftly and professionally. I will definitely be using him exclusively from here on for landscaping as well as stump removal. If you’re looking for a reliable, hard working veteran that will take care of you’re landscaping needs, look no further than Grind City stump removal.

Jake did an awesome job removing stumps from our yard! He also has awesome customer service. We will definitely be using him for all our tree removal needs 😁

Jake was a professional from the moment he picked up the phone. He came out same day, provided a very reasonable quote and did the work same day as well. I had him remove two ornamental tree trunks. If I have future work I will definitely give him a call.

Paid for a large stump grinding, 3 small stump grindings, and a limb removal. The large stump was only partially grinded, only enough for the fresh mulch to cover the remainder of the stump. The three smaller stumps never were attempted. The limb removal went badly and damaged my sidewalk. Chainsaw blades and clamps was left in my yard. Jake claimed he would fix my sidewalk but I had to at my expense as he would not respond to our attempts again. Very unprofessional.

Make sure you read contract carefully w Jake. He will leave trees on your property.

If you subcontract something to him, make sure you get it in writing. I subcontracted large job for Jake and he stiffed me on back end w claims I was supposed to physically be working for him. I have all correspondence between us and that was not agreement. I also have copies of original contract with customer and photographs of the tree he decided to skip.

Jake and crew did a fantastic job of cutting down and stump removal for several large trees in my backyard. These guys showed up on the scheduled day and got the work done even though it was a very hot 100 degrees! Great clean up too. Very skilled and professional and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone needing their services.

Brad was extremely responsive and timely with his quote and communication. His crew arrived right on time and worked efficiently to take down three of our very large crepe myrtles. You can’t even tell they were there!! I highly recommend Grind City Stump removal, 5 stars for sure!

I highly recommend Grind City Stump Grinding! Jake was incredibly responsive, gave a fair price, and we lucked out that he could start the stump removal right away. He did a fantastic job on grinding down two large oak stumps that were right next to our pool. The cleanup around our patio was great, and somehow, he managed to keep the shavings in the pool to a minimum!! We are very happy with his service!

The guys are AWESOME. The offered bid to cut down 2 trees, grind out the stumps and trim 4 crape myrtles was VERY REASONABLE! Within 2 days of accepting the bid, they were on site working and by the time I got home the trees were trimmed or removed as was all the debris. I HIGHLY recommend them for any tree trimming or removal you yard needs!

Grind City Stump Removal owner Jake Nivens took down a large oak tree in my front yard. Jake and his crew are very respectful, professional, on time, easy to communicate with and fast! I give him a five star only because there’s not 10. Highly recommend them for any tree and stump service you need.

Brad and Jake are a great team. They did some dirt work for me and removed a few trees. They were quick efficient and affordable. They cleaned up like they were never here. Couldn't ask for better service. Highly recommend if you are looking for tree work dirt work or stump removal.

Jake in his crew did an amazing job, so good in fact that I’m getting them to come back and do some more work for me! He and his crew went above and beyond and I think one of the things I truly appreciate is that it’s like they had never been there. They made it look better than it did before and cleaned up and put things back where they were. I would recommend them for any job, and I would also give them a 10 out of 10! Outstanding communication and customer service!

Jake and Brad did a fantastic job. They were polite, very knowledgeable, cleaned up and put things back where they were before. Their pickup crew were also very thorough in picking up the debris! These guys are amazing!! I highly recommend them if you’ve got tree and stump removal.

Jake completely transformed our yard by taking down multiple trees and cleaning up others. Happy to say he did not rut up our yard or make a big mess. Will definitely call him for any future work!
