Eli did a great job. Very polite and professional young man. An underground wire leading to light posts in my driveway had been accidentally cut during some work I was having done in my yard. He was able to find the cut wire and replace/fix it all in a few hours and lights are back on now!

    EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE & PRICING
Eli from Foster's came to diagnose and do any needed repairs of my home's electrical.
Eli was very professional, very knowledgeable and provided answers to all my questions and concerns.
He located the issues I was having very quickly and promptly fixed all with explanation.
I can't express enough my thankfulness and happiness with Fosters and Eli's service.
I was going to have to pay $675+ for a "deep diagnostic service fee" from another company who previously came for the same issues.
That's $678 and doesn't include ANY "work", only diagnostics!
Was also told I would need to change the incoming 4alt electric cable that Fosters verified did NOT need to be changed and was in excellent condition (and added $2700 that was quoted at $1900 just weeks prior!)
So $3330+ so far and that may/may not fix my issues.
Turns out it didn't need changed and was not my issue at all!
    Final outcome was $138!
    Thank you Eli!
Foster's can be very proud of Eli, his diligence, knowledge, expertise, professionalism and kindness are a credit to Foster's, the Electrician community, the Chattanooga area and mankind itself ☺️
If you're in need of electrical service, I cannot recommend Fosters strongly enough, and if you're lucky enough to get Eli as your technician, you couldn't ask for more👍👍
    Thank you again Eli

Great company that does quality work and easy quotes. I’d give five stars but both times I’ve used them, they’ve called me at 7:30 am or 8:00 am and woke me up to remind me of my appointment at 11-12-1-2-3 o’clock the next day.

I had a couple of jobs done by them and while the workers were finishing up, taking the equipment out of the house they hit my door handle. Been over six months still haven’t fixed my door handle. They only care about the money and don’t care how they leave your house afterwards. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Update after my review they delivered me a new door handle.

The estimator was Chris. There were several projects that needed doing.
He was explaining the estimation and mentioned hardwired smoke detectors, that I needed one in each room. I told him I had already purchased them. He said they were not Catoosa County code. I trusted what he was saying so I complied. I had used Foster Electric before so I thought they were somewhat trustworthy.
Then the Catoosa County inspector came to sign off on their work. He said that hardwired smoke detectors were not required in existing homes, only in new.
I was pretty upset that I was lied to about this because I’m a senior on a fixed income and this took me way over my budget.

The invoice requested a review, so here you go. Be careful when using this company. I am a senior citizen in St. Elmo and called Foster Electric to change a lightbulb in my home because my ceiling is higher than any ladder I own. The technician (Steven) did the job in only a few minutes, but I was charged an additional $85 on top of the initial service fees. I was surprised and disappointed that changing a lightbulb ended up costing me nearly $200. When I questioned the amount, the technician shrugged and said that’s what it costs to come out. The lightbulb works fine, but I sure won’t be calling Foster Electric again when it goes out.

Regarding Foster Electric’s response, I’m unclear which calculation they’re referencing, as there were multiple charges totaling far more than $29. My frustration is that what I believed would be a reasonable fee somehow increased without my knowledge. I paid Foster Electric nearly $200 for only a few minutes of work to change a lightbulb.
