Excavating Contractor reviews in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Best dumpster in town by far. Joe and his guys give great service. Thank you as always!

McKinney Excavating delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. Their professionalism stood out immediately—every step of the project was clearly communicated, and I always knew what was happening and why. Nothing felt rushed. They took the time to walk me through the scope of work, the expected timeline, and even the potential surprises that can come with excavation projects.

What impressed me most was their patience and transparency. When unexpected issues came up, they explained the situation in plain language, laid out the options, and helped me make informed decisions without pressure. The crew worked efficiently, respected the property, and maintained a clean and safe work area throughout.

If you’re looking for a team that combines expertise with genuine customer care, McKinney Excavating is the one to call. Highly recommended.

Great service!

Professional, respectful, detail oriented

Wouldn’t recommend their services

Done a ton of work for us at Aetna Mountain Adventures. Always as agreed.

Great company. Awesome owner. A+

Great Company and great people doing honest work.

Worst customer service and it was from the manager. I would not be recommending this company to anyone.

I was surprised you didn't have license plate on a company vehichle, then I saw the way you drive and I understand why they wouldn't let you have one.

Professional, courteous and hard working! They spend the time and energy it takes to make the job right.

Great service and great turn around time. We will use McKinnley Excavating again.

Needed a load of fill dirt. They had it delivered in just a couple of hours. Driver did well in a tight driveway situation too.

Joe and his company does excellent work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I just wanted to say how professional this business is. They do great fantastic work. I would highly recommend this business for any job.

Great company to work with. We have worked with them on a project great people! Highly recommend them!

The only landscaping company I’d do business with in town. Joe is one of the most professional guys I’ve met, and him and his crew do amazing work.

Wow you guys are awesome solved or storm drain runoff you successfuly did what you said our builder could not come thru with his promise to have it done so we hired you guys all I can say is awesome will definitely be hiring you guys for future projects thank you so much we are no longer depressed when we look at our great looking back yard thank you again

SMH A big rock just flew out of one the trucks & hit my brand new car! My self & others were in the right lane & the truck was in the left. I called & they told me theres was nothing they could do abt it. Not only did the rock hit my car but it hit 2 others almost causing a 3 car collision. Didnt even get a apology. I have the tag number of the truck & the spedlimit on riverside is 30 not 55. The truck drive was speeding & tossing rocks left & right. I bet if it was one their cars they would do something. #1 have your truck drivers clean the truck! #2 tell your truck driver I will pursue a insurance claim. Even law enforcement said there is absolutely no excuse for speeding & the rock that hit my car was bigger then a base ball.
I have pictures, a police report & witnesses & will be calling my insurance company tomorrow.

As a business owner, I've noticed these guys go above and beyond what is expected. Always polite and professional, but they always get the job done. I couldn't recommend anyone else other than this team for Excavating and demolition in the Chattanooga area.

Truly a very professional company with integrity and honesty.Called about a demo and they were on site within 24hrs to complete to meet the deadlines needed. Will defiantly use again in the future.
Thanks Joe
