Luke and his company Big Sky Landscapes has been the landscaping expert at our HOA since the inception of our HOA. Luke's erudite aptitude for turf/lawn care goes way beyond just cutting grass and weed removal. Luke actually knows the Latin names of much of the trees and foliage that can offer/recommend for your lawn/garden. He knows when to prune/cut shrubbery/trees. He knows when to fertilize and when to aerate the soil, and when to apply pesticides (if you desire pesticide application).

Big Sky Landscapes also has vast experience with repairing lawn sprinkler systems, to include programming a 20+ zone sprinkler computer. Anytime someone else messes with our sprinkler system computer/controller, they mess it up. Big Sky...when they set/fix the lawn sprinkler computer, it stays fixed. They know what they are doing and do a good job of it. They had to replace some sprinkler line a while back that the original installer had incorrectly installed.

Luke is easy to COMMUNICATE with. He returns calls immediately. He listens to what you are saying and is very quick to come up with options/possibilities.

I have a challenging yard with a slope on Lookout Mountain that needed help. Luke walked my yard with me to determine what would be the best option to help with the drainage and water run-off. He created a plan and as a result, his team put in a tiered retaining wall with a couple of flower/garden beds and a patio. It's lovely and I have received many compliments. They also provide me with routine work to help me keep the yard in shape. Whether it's a large job or a small one, Luke's team is always happy to do the work. I couldn't be happier!

We have had an excellent experience with Big Sky Landscaping, using them for four different yards over many years. They have done everything from grass seeding and lawn maintenance and pruning to designing and implementing a quadrant herbal garden in our front yard. They currently come in in the spring and do a major clean up of our property and it always shines and sparkles and looks so very good when they finish! They are fast, they are efficient and Luke is a total delight to work with! Highly recommend!!

Oh, I had a mess of a muddy eroded backyard at my townhome. I contacted several landscapers for advice and estimates, and all varied considerably. Big Sky Landscapes was not the lowest estimate, but Luke spent the most time looking over my issues and explaining what would work best. I didn't just feel like 'the next job'. Within about 10 days of accepting Big Sky's bid, I now have a fully sodded backyard (no more muddy pawprints getting tracked in the house!) and a rock bed in a shaded corner that turned out better than I expected. :D The office person, Emily, was great to work with, very responsive to my initial reach-out, and answered my questions along the way.
