Common Ground is my go to tree service. I have used them twice to take down one larger tree and then later for a yard consult and take down of two smaller trees. Sam and team are amazing! They show up as indicated, provide a very competitive quote, get the work done, grind on site, clean up and do an excellent job! Professional, knowledgeable, and courteous! Ethan and the crew pruned a large maple tree and removed two evergreens. They were prompt on the day of service, removed the tree debris, and tidied up the area where they worked. The service cost was reasonable.

Had trees removed on 8/4/25. Sam and his crew did another great job removing several dead pines from my yard. Have used Common Ground several times. Would not hesitate to use this company again. If you have an emergency and need a quick response this is the company to call. Had a very large tree fall on my house during a very bad storm in May of 2024. In less than 12 hours the tree was removed. Great company great crew.

Sam and crew were willing to tackle very old gigantic trees that were endangering our home because of their leaning, roots buckling the driveway, and huge limbs often falling to the ground. We were so impressed with the professionalism shown and determination to finish the job in a timely manner. Sam is a master at very high heights in a bucket with a chainsaw. He also attached parts of the massive trees to a tall crane, lifting the tree parts with a rope and maneuvering them safely to the ground. The large trees were then put into a chipper which made clean up much easier. The crew came back a second day to make sure all clean up was done. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job, and we will definitely recommend you to our friends.

I went and got quotes from 8+ different tree service companies in the Chattanooga area and Common Ground Tree Service offered the best price and the best plan for my tree removal. Sam and his team were extremely professional, excellent communicators, and delivered on everything they promised to do. They removed two giant Chestnut Trees from my yard and ground out the stumps. They had a lot of obstacles in the way including neighbors fencing, electrical lines, a sloped yard, and the roof of my house but handled it perfectly. No damage done, they were clean, and respectful to me and my property. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone needing a similar service.

Above and beyond service by Evan and his team. Excellent customer service from initial visit to the end of the project by the whole Common Ground family. First contractor we have had on our property to truly leave the jobsite better/cleaner than how they found it. They were clearly well trained arborists who were very knowledgeable about tree health and how to prune trees properly and safely. I will definitely be calling these guys again if/when I am in the need of tree work.

Evan & crew came out & took down a large dying tree near a fence & several buildings in back of our lot.
They did an excellent job of removing the tree & trimmed 3 additional trees that were overhanging our carports.

We received wonderful service. Common Ground was very patient, responsive, and communicative. They did a great, quick job removing dangerous tree limbs from large trees on our property.

These are a wonderful group of gentlemen to work with. I mainly delt with Sam and Nick, both of them worked with me and talked me through every tree they took down. They gave me very reasonable prices and went above and beyond everything I asked. Nick even took the time to take down some old Christmas lights from the roof for me. 🙂 I look forward to working more with them in the future. I highly recommend if you need tree work done, these are the people to call!

We had a very tall and half-dead tree in a difficult location. The crew from Common Ground handled it with ease. Afterwards, the area was thoroughly cleaned and all debris hauled away. We were very pleased with their service.

Tree landed on roof of house, they promptly arrived and removed tree and placed a tarp on the roof covering the holes prior to the rains setting in. The yard was cleared of all debris. Very kind and Courtesy. Absolutely No Complaints!

I had the pleasure of working with Sam over the span of two years regarding a large pine tree in my yard. Due to complicating factors on my end, I was ultimately unable to use them for the removal.
