Home Builder reviews in Franklin, Tennessee

We purchased an upscale townhome from Ford Classic Homes In April 2026

Our experience with Ford Classic Homes has been nothing less than exceptional. This builder produces a high quality home, thoughtful and intentional design, functional floorpans, and delivers outstanding customer service.

Richard is a thief they exploit Hispanics I would not recommend buying anything from them.

High quality, seasoned builder with top notch staff. Very happy 👍

Great professionalism from the sales team, excellent on site and outstanding home construction.

Ford Classic Homes truly cares about creating the best home buying experience, from browsing neighborhoods to finding your dream home!

The building process was seamless and efficient with Ford Homes. My clients are extremely happy with their home.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Great experience. Great house. Professional staff. Best-built homes in middle TN.

great company to work with and buy a home from. Great neighborhood as well. Well done Ford!

The Ford team built an awesome home in an awesome community! They went above and beyond and expeditiously completed and assisted with everything I asked for.

Excellent builder who definitely seems to care and have pride in their work. Very responsive to all warranty requests and thoughtfully explains solution. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty and I would recommend them anytime.

Great experience working with the Ford Homes Team. Kept our buyer updated, responsive and customer focused! Would work with them again for sure!

Buyers beware….significant chimney installation issues which have resulted in TWO house fires on the same street…..one which destroyed the house and contents one year ago and the other this past thanksgiving night…..this house was two doors down from the previously mentioned house. Furthermore, when homeowners on the street had their fireplaces inspected, most had sealant issues requiring repair. All of the homes were built by Ford. Finally, Ford took no accountability for the faulty installations/issues.

Ford builds a beautiful home …. But do not trust the structural integrity of the home.

Note: I am not one of the homeowners impacted directly (although my heart is breaking for our dear friends who were) and I don’t represent anyone else’s opinions

The Team at Ford Classic Homes have been a pleasure to work with! The entire Team has been thoughtful, considerate and responsive throughout the entire build process. Highly recommend Ford Classic Homes!!!

Our house was a spec home so we did not have the opportunity to make any decisions, however we were the first homeowners of our house.
We have not been pleased with the quality of our home. Several issues within the house where some were fixed and some were not. My recommendation is that you stay diligent with your complaints and make sure they all get addressed if you build with Ford. Our house was advertised as a luxury home, the only part of luxury was the appliances that they put in the home before we moved in.
Mold growth within the first couple of months in our shower that never got fixed.
Creaking floors in the kitchen which was avoided by them to fix
Very poor HVAC set up. The whole house does not have good balance of heat or AC
Circuit breaker boxes are not all located on one side of the house which makes for getting a generator extremely expensive.
Terrible paint work inside and outside the house
2 leaks in the house which were fixed by Ford thankfully.
Low grade workmanship throughout.
This is 2024 - all cabinets except the kitchen do not have soft close cabinets and all toilet seats did not have soft close seats.
Brick mortar is starting to fall apart and the house is less than 4 years old.
Placement of light switches do not make sense in a couple of the rooms.
The soaker tub in the master bath was never secured. This was figured out because we bumped into it.

We had an incredible experience with Ford Classic Homes. Excellent design, construction quality, and responsiveness. Highly recommend!

TLDR; Local Realtor Opinion – Without a doubt one of the top builders in Middle TN! I'm a Realtor in Nashville with over 160 transactions and have worked with just about every major builder. I can honestly say that the Ford team builds some of the highest-quality homes in the area. Furthermore, they make the entire process easy and transparent from explaining how the process will work to ensuring the client understands their warranty program. I would be happy to work with this team again!

Mike Ford built us an amazing home! The whole process was easy and fun. Their onsite agent Sharon Tucker was quick to communicate, accommodating and a joy to work with. Our superintendent, Jared Walker, was attentive to every detail and absolutely meticulous. As a REALTOR and owner of a construction company, I can say you would be hard pressed to find a more diligent team to work with in the new construction business. Thank you to the whole Ford team for an amazing experience and beautiful home!

After 2 Ford homes, we could not praise the quality of product delivered enough. This operation builds a tremendous home and we are always reminded of their remarkable pride in workmanship. George and Thomas work so hard and take great care in the service delivered. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience with Ford! No complaints whatsoever! Our house was done on time. Very responsive whenever I had questions. We built from out of state and it was a very simple process from start to finish. Charles, Thomas, Chesney, Delana, the whole team were great!

We are so happy we chose our new home to be a Ford built home! Everyone we interacted with on the team was kind, professional, and so knowledgeable, and our home is beautiful and well built. We are so excited to live here for years to come, and would recommend Ford to anyone looking for a new home in middle Tennessee.
