Tree reviews in Gallatin, Tennessee

Joe and the team at Falling Timbers took a difficult job of removing three large trees next to our house and made it look easy. On time, prepared with the right equipment, and skilled at what they do. First Class. Highly recommend them for big or small jobs.

I used Falling Timbers 5 years ago and had a fantastic experience, so they were my first call when more work needed to be done. The job was much more involved this time.

Joe came out assessed the job and gave me a quote. He and his crew removed numerous large trees, ground stumps, cleared overgrowth at the back of my property, leveled out the entire area, and addressed an erosion issue with my creek bank. Once again, they worked hard, and exceeded my expectations. I'm beyond happy with the work that was performed.

My neighbor and a family member had Falling Timbers do some work for them after seeing what they were doing at my place. They were just as pleased as me with the work and the price.

This is the best company and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for quality work, at fair prices from an honest business owner. They do a lot more than tree service these days, so check their website and maybe call to see what they can do for you. You can bet that they will continue to be our company of choice for any service they offer.

Many thanks to Joe and his crew for a job well done!

Falling Timbers Tree Service did a great job removing a large oak from my front yard. They were very professional, handled the job quickly, and did a good job cleaning up. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Excellent tree removal company!! Our home was hit with a huge tree that was uprooted from the recent storm on 06/21. My husband called and spoke with Joe and he and his crew were there within just a couple days. They did have to use a crane to remove the tree, but they did remove the tree safely and efficiently!! I would recommend them and definitely would use there services again!!

I must brag about the amazing experience I had with Falling Timbers. I needed some tree services done in a timely manner for an event on my property and only had a couple days to have it completed. I contacted Joe and made him aware of my situation. He was out to my house with a quote for the job within the hour. His crew began working that afternoon and had the job completely finished and cleaned up by the following evening. They were a joy to work with and very reasonably priced. Joe and the Falling Timbers crew were so helpful and I am so thankful for their sense of urgency for my situation. If you are looking for good, quality tree work done at a great price.... I strongly suggest getting a hold of Joe Waire at Falling Timbers. Thanks Joe and Falling Timbers crew!!

I had paid Joe, the owner of Falling Timbers $1500 to have both a pile of dead trees AND 2 fallen trees to be removed/transferred to my backyard. There's a document that I signed which agrees to that. After transferring the 2 trees from my side yard to my back yard, Joe claimed that there was a ditch about 5-6 ft deep with a bunch of dead trees and debris near the pile of dead trees in my front yard. He proceeded to say that he needed to charge me another $1500 if I ALSO wanted to get all the trees out of that ditch and have everything burned at the same time. I agreed to this without further research because I just wanted all of these dead trees off my yard. He said he would be back to take care of the trees the following week but he never showed, giving excuses about how we needed a burn permit which I discovered we didn't need to obtain since we lived outside of city limits. I finally managed to get him on the phone while he was "going out of town" and requested for half of the $1500 to be credited towards burning my trees which he has declined. Needless to say, he has also conveniently failed to transfer the rest of the dead tree pile to my back yard. As you can see in this picture, majority of the dead pile of trees are still on the ground in my front yard.

Thankfully, I've found another tree removing service who can burn all these trees for $800-$900, including the dead trees in the ditch. Beware of unethical and shady business tactics of Falling Timbers!! I would rate Falling Timbers a fat "0" stars if I could!

Shannon and his crew did an amazing job for us. I highly recommend them if you need tree work done . Fast, and fair work .

Could not ask for better service! When I arrived home from work after our tree was taken down it literally looked like my front yard had been vacuumed, no joke. Yard was cleaner than before he started. Only way I knew Stout had been here was the missing tree lol. We will absolutely be using his service for several more trees needing to be taken down.

Shannon Stout / crew did a great job cutting down my silver maple tree it took one hr. And clean up was awesome at reasonable price 👌

Shannon did an outstanding job. He communicated every step of the way. Our vision is what he accomplished for us and we were pleased. Plus we got to meet his dog. If you need a tree service I would highly recommend Stouts.

Shannon and his team are the absolute best! Fast, thorough and efficient! If it wasn’t early morning I would have fired up the grill! Couldn’t have asked for a better job or a more reasonable price! Look no further - they are truly the best! Greg Hopf

Did an absolutely fine job with the tree removal and trimming. However, this business damaged our driveway in the process. With a promise to repair the damage, we paid our bill and waited for Shannon to do as he said he would. With our driveway being shared with our neighbor, he has tried to reach Shannon and was hung up on. He will not take our phone calls or respond to text messages. If you are looking for a business ran responsibility and with integrity, this is not the one to use. It saddens me to have to leave this review, as I was hoping my review would include the incident with the right outcome and 5 stars.

They’re the best!!!! Used them several times at my home and our business!!! Had a storm make huge mess at a rental and he ran right out and cleaned it up also. Trust them to do anything and great prices bc they clean up all the mess that comes along with cutting trees down!!!

Family tree services did a great job today. Two trees two large holly bushes and cleanup was exceptional. I would recommend to anyone to use this service!

Family Tree Service (Michael) just finished helping me clean up from the winter ice storm and additional trees, and other work I needed completed. From the quoting process to scheduling and after two plus days of work, Michael and all his crew were so professional, kind, and the work was top quality. Michael and his crew took care to make sure my yard was protected through the equipment he used as well as making sure through the process that I was still okay with many of the items we discussed and how they would be handled. Thank you Michael, and all your crew. Definitely, will be back in the near future.
