Pree's Tree Specialists did a FANTASTIC job! I had 4 large trees removed, hauled away, and the stumps grinded. They were very professional, on-time, and efficient. I would recommend them and would use them again.

We've had Pree's trim and remove multiple trees at 2 different houses over a period of several years, including one very urgent situation. They have always been honest, professional, courteous, & knowledgeable, & have communicated well.

We have used Prees Trees several times for general tree work as well as to clear downed trees after storms. They are very responsive, professional and work safely. High marks for being efficient and organized. We also opted for stump grinding to address damage from downed trees. Highly recommend.

Have had service from this company multiple times and they were always courteous and left my property neat as a pin. Pricing well within customary expectations. My last two projects were tree fertilization and removal of two dead oaks. I have also had them trim several of my trees with very good aesthetic results. I will use them again and again as needed for my large trees on a city lot.

We have used Pree’s Trees Specialists three or four times. They use equipment to access any tree on the property for trimming or complete removal, and they’ve never left damage on the ground.They are very professional arborists and they always do a wonderful job from start to finish. Very reasonable fees as well!

I used Pree's to trim two magnolia trees at my home. The Pree's employees were very professional, used excellent safety practices and did a great job cleaning up at the end of the job. This is the fourth time I have used Pree's and the service provided is always excellent.

We picked this company because they had so many good reviews online, but this was not our experience unfortunately. It took over 2 months to get three tree stumps ground down and I had over 10-20 communication experiences with this company. Every time I called, I had to leave a message and wait until the next business day to get a call back-sometimes I never received a call back and had to call again or e-mail. E-mail responses were typically faster. The communication regarding the initial consultation was poor-no appointment made or anything, they just showed up at our house. Then, I had to call back requesting the estimate because it was over a week before I heard anything-they apologized for this. Once the estimate was sent, I e-mailed a reply saying, "yes-we would like this service" and did not hear anything back for another few days, so I called once again (no answer) and then e-mailed and received a response. Then, they failed to tell me that they were waiting for 811 to come out and mark the gas/water lines, so it was another 2 weeks of wondering what was going on because again there wasn't a set appointment time. When the city came out and marked everything, I waited yet another several days (maybe a week) until I called once again asking when they would be coming out now? Then, we got a vague "early next week" time frame for when they would come out and work. The work was done and after we spread out the mulch, a significant portion of one of the stumps was still remaining. I called back again and left a message (never heard back), so I e-mailed them again and they (fairly promptly) called back and set up an actual time for when someone would come out once again to look at the remaining site (this time it was the owner that came out). They set up another appointment (with an actual time: 11am-1pm) to come out and complete the job. After 2, when nobody showed up, I called back (no answer) and so e-mailed and they e-mailed me back another apology and asked to reschedule. A few days later, they came out again and finished the job (which took an additional 2+ hours because there was so much work left to be done).
Everyone was very cordial when we spoke and again, e-mail replies were fairly quick (within 1-2 days), but overall the communication with the woman that answers their phone line is just so poor. It seems like it's her personal cell phone because one time I missed a call late in the afternoon. When I called back (after 5pm), someone else answered for her and there was music/party noise in the background. The person that answered thought she was answering her own phone and when I asked if this was "Pree's Tree's" she said, "oh this isn't my phone", and hollered out for the Pree's Trees woman. I then heard the Pree's Trees woman say something like, "Oh, that's my phone" and then she took the phone and instead of talking to me, hung up on me.
If I could give some advice to improve their business, I would suggest having more than 1 person available to take phone calls and do a better job of actually answering rather than expecting all clients to leave a voicemail. They should communicate the process better (ie: First we will make an appointment for evaluation, then we will send you an estimate, next 811 will have to come out and mark the utility lines, lastly, we will come out an do the job, then finally send you an invoice). Additionally, just do better with keeping track of the process. I shouldn't have to call multiple times and e-mail to get your business. How do you make enough money if you operate this way with every client? When the work was competed (the second time), it was done well-so I gave them 2 stars instead of 1, but the communication hassle was so not worth it. Will not be going with these guys again.

Pree's is one of the most professional tree service companies in the area. They hire ISA Certified Arborists, and their staff is well versed in safe work procedures. I've had them work on my trees multiple times over the years, and they have done a great job for a good value.

We had a huge tree that needed taken down. It was going to be somewhat complicated by our neighbor's fence and power lines. The Prees Team gave us a competitive price and scheduled taking down the tree.
Their team arrived exactly when they told us they would be here. The team kept us informed about their progress, as it took several days.
We found their team polite, courteous, and competent. Our tree was over 70' tall and 5'-6' in circumference in a very tight space. They were amazing. They worked methodically as a team to remove tree.
We appreciate their hard work and professionalism. We may have additional trees that have to go. We won't hesitate to call Prees if we have future needs.

I would recommend Pree's Trees to anyone in need of tree services. The process from the estimate to the completion of the pruning work was easy, polite, and professional. The estimator took the time to explain to us how the job would be done and how it would be a benefit to the health of our trees. The work crew worked well together, were efficient and did a great job from start to finish. The trees look great!

The crew called ahead to let us know they would be here in about an hour and they were here on time. They were professional, friendly and respectful of our property and outlined what service they were going to complete. They cleaned up all the debris and spoke with us afterward to make sure that we were satisfied. We highly recommend them.

Pree's has been fantastic during the time that we've owned our house in Louisville. They have done limb-ups, put in support cables and provided annual fungicide treatments for the beautiful maples in our yard. Always professional and friendly. A great group of people!

I hadn’t worked with company before, but now see how they’ve earned their great reputation. These guys are professional, courteous, and safe. Very hard working. They prioritize the health and aesthetic of your trees over turning a quick buck. I would highly recommend their services to anybody.

Overall, I am pleased with the trim work done on the 33 Leyland Cypress trees and the condition of the property after the work was completed. However, communication could have been better. I approved the bid on September 6 and subsequent texts, online messages and phone calls requesting information on scheduling were not returned. After 30 days passed without any responses I assumed they did not want to the work and began exploring other options. Then, without any notice they arrived on November 5 and did the work. I was away all that day and upon returning at night I didn't even notice the work had been completed until I found an invoice in my inbox on the morning of November 6. There are a few branches that did not get trimmed and I would have loved to have been here during the work process so I could have found out if they were missed or left untrimmed for a reason. Other than that I think they did a good job and would consider using them again when/if I need additional tree work done.

I have used Pree's Trees for multiple projects in my yard. They are always very professional, reasonably priced, and great to work with. They show up on time and get to work. They are careful not to damage my yard any more than necessary to get the job done. Ryan is great and is very honest. They are the only company I (& many of my neighbors) will use to take care of the trees in my yard.

A storm took down a large tree at our rental property. Pree's was able to get us a competitive estimate within a couple of days of our first contact. The crew was on our property within the week, and they were prompt, courteous, and professional. We also hired them to trim back some limbs that were hanging over the house, and they were able to finish both jobs in one day. They cleaned up the jobsite and hauled away all the debris. We were pleased with their service and will definitely use them next time we need tree service.
