Did not properly clean two j crew skirts. Returned skirts without telling me there were stains on the skirts after dry cleaning. The skirts were pressed after cleaning setting the stains

Been using cleaners for 2 yrs because it's convenient to home. Allowed a pass when they lost my favorite sweater with no method to reimburse or look for it. I'm sure someone else is enjoying, as I've receive someone else's blouse and returned it. Today they wanted to charge a dress price for 2 shirts because they were hip length. I couldn't let this pass without comment. Very dissappointed and will be using a different cleaners.

I will not be returning to this dry cleaner. I went to put on my blazer, after I had got it dry cleaned from up-town cleaners, and I noticed a black spot on the front of it. As I looked closer it was a burnt spot, like an iron or something of that nature was on the wrong setting and burnt a spot on my blazer. Then I dropped off my white comforter and when I picked up the dry cleaning, I got home and it was still dirty. So this time I took the comforter back and a lady that worked there acted as if it was such and inconvenience that I had come back. All I ask out of a business is good customer service and reliability.

Lost my clothes. I have been using Uptown Cleaners for a little over a year due to location being close and convenient. Previous dry cleaner I used always provided me a slip for confirmation without needing to request one. First time I dropped off with the women she said to just use my phone number. Today when I went to pick up my shirts she told me I never dropped anything off. I explained I dropped off 3 or 4 shirts a couple weeks ago with the gentleman who was working. They spent about 5 minutes investigating to tell me sorry they don't have them and next time I could request a confirmation slip. I asked if maybe they have a lost and found they could check and she replied she already did. The women was in front of me the entire time and did not make any effort to try to assist me. She apologized as a final comment and said next time to ask for a slip. I am guessing my shirts went home with someone else or hanging somewhere unmarked. I would not recommend using Uptown Cleaners or at least make sure to get a slip with a total count of clothes dropped off for back-up.

I brought my cashmere sweaters in and they must have used too high of heat because my entire collection shrunk. I also brought pants in and they didn’t remove the stain until i pointed it out it wasn’t clean.

Worst cleaner in town. At drop off they never gave me a pick up date and time even when asked. When I picked up my order the cost was outrageous and when asked why they gave no information and kept asking for payment so I physically took the ticket from her so I could see what was being charged to me… when I got home I realized I was missing 2 shirts which they deny and didn’t even try to check but told me I miscounted. 19 shirts does not make 21!! Do Not Use this cleaner if you value your items or money.

I took a winter coat and blazer in for cleaning. After cleaning both smelled so bad, like a musty dirty odor, I asked for the blazer to be redone. The man who works on Saturday was dismissive and on a regular basis, just doesn’t care. The blazer came back smelling just as bad. I didn’t trust my coat to be redone by them since the blazer smelled so bad. I have been going here for years and won’t be back! If you cant show you care or recognize when an error is made, you do not deserve my business!

Recently (2 weeks ago) took 2 sport coats for dry cleaning and when I picked them up, they smelled so bad they could not be worn. One of the jackets was brought back to have it re-cleaned again and it smelled the same the second time. When confronting the attendant during pickup (coats still in the plastic), they refused to do anything about it. The smell was horrible. Over $1000 dollars in coats ruined. One less than 6 months old. The other a year old. Lesson learned. No offer to correct.

Was looking for a new dry cleaners since moving here, but I will pass on this one. The man wanted to charge me over twice for womens blouses/shirts that were identical to men's shirts. 👕 👕. asked what was the difference. He said we machine press the men's and hand press the womens. I asked if he could machine press the womens since they were identical in fabric and make. He smugly said "no, cause just how we do it. I said, I will NOT support your discriminatory practices.. I could see if a womens blouse or shirt was silk,, chiffon etc., but identical, no way,, no thank you.. Also a simple poly-cotton dress starts at $15👗 I had over $150 that needed cleaning but going elsewhere. Some of their prices are ridiculous. I can buy new items for what they and some of the dry cleaners are charging. I say "Na-Na"!

Been using Uptown for 5 years, but we’ve had enough. They don’t LISTEN. I repeatedly tell them not to put pleats in pants…I hate the lines. Everytime I pick them up…lines. As for dress shirts…they ALWAYS fold the tag up inside the collar so it scratches and itches. Lastly, they don’t get any stains or blemishes out of my shirts. No more…we are done and I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

I scheduled my home’s windows to be cleaned a few weeks in advance. I was referred to Joe Bland’s company by another company specifically because he does storm windows (as they did not). So when I called to talk to him, I told him that I had storm windows, how many I had, that my house was built in 1920. He did not offer to come look at my house, just agreed to do the job. The day of the job he showed up 30 minutes early and we weren’t ready for him yet. My husband asked him to come back at the appointed time. They never came back. He simply texted me (not on his own but after I asked where they were) “I'm sorry but my men do not wanna do your house too difficult.” He won’t answer my calls and has left me without the service he agreed to do. His website claims that they “thoroughly clean ALL types of windows.” All windows except mine, I guess.

Joe Bland, is experienced, timely and friendly. Unfortunately my windows were a mess and not clean. Not sure what he used to clean them and they looked good when he was finished but the next morning as the sun is coming through the windows they were streaked so badly it was upsetting. He is competitive on his pricing but now I need to hire someone else to redo the windows. I live in a brand new house and 2 screens were broken. Not a good first impression!

Joe Bland is a really nice guy, fair prices, excellent job!! My windows shine brite!!! Would highly recommend Joe and his helper..

This was a well-organized and executed crew and process. The project manager was in touch with me on four different occasions to help clarify specific requests for the technicians to remove leaves without messing up the sides of our newly painted house. Very pleasant interactions with the techs as well. Will recommend them to others! great work.

Just a great overall experience dealing with Doug and his crew! They came and took care of our needs in less than 48 hours, including the estimate, for a full gutter install!!! They really helped us out after having such a terrible experience with another local company.
