Tree reviews in Hendersonville, Tennessee

Removed small mulberry tree from our backyard. Clean and quick.

The Stump Guys did an awesome job solving a problem in our driveway. There were 5-6 areas where old tree roots were sticking above the surface a few inches above the gravel. We had hired a paving company but they couldn’t lay asphalt until those roots were addressed. The Stump Guys dug around each root about 3 feet on both sides of where it was showing. They then were able to remove the entire 6 foot length at a 12” depth. They did this on each root that was showing. Not an easy job but they were prompt, quick and charged a very fair price. Our driveway is now paved and we are so happy with the results.

These guys are so awesome. They rescued my cat from a tree. They were super nice and helpful. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Seriously these guys rock.

Adam was great. He took the time to take down 3 trees right next to the house and never dropped 1 leaf on the house. I would definitely recommend him!!

Had my cat get stuck in a really tall and skinny tree. Alec did not hesitate to come check it out and help. Insisted on not charging as he didn’t want to put an amount a family pet.

Major props to Sarah, Adam and Brent. Took down 8 trees last week 6 of which were very tricky around a pool and pump. I enjoy doing business with pros but it's a added bonus when they are also good people. Highly, highly, highly recommend this crew

Adam has done several jobs for us and is a true professional. He shows concern for the safety of his crew and my property. He is my only call for tree service.

Sumner Tree and Log were a huge help with our large pine tree after a tornado. We appreciated their expertise and work quality. They were a joy to work with and super communicative!

I would highly recommend Sumner Tree for any of there tree needs . Adam came out properly after we spoke on the phone the first time. He thoroughly explained what steps and the process of the removal of our tree. He was very, kind , respectful and a pleasure to work with.

Adam and Sarah were great! They did great work at an unbeatable price, patiently answered all my questions and walked me through the process, and were all around great to do business with. I highly recommend them for your tree and log needs!

Adam answered the phone at 6:30 am on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, arrived at the house within the hour, and job was done an hour after that. Five hours later, the other seven tree services I called who are listed as "24-7 / urgent jobs welcome" still haven't called me back.

Adam and Sarah were wonderful. They came to the rescue! My cat has been stuck in a tree almost 48 hours, and they rescued her safely. I highly recommend them! So happy!

These guys removed 2 giant trees that fell on my backyard fence and house. HOA property trees. I called and in 15 minutes they were at my house assessing. 1 hour later they are back and got the job done before sundown! Fastest service I’ve ever had and mission accomplished. Highly recommend!

Adam and his team did a magnificent job on our trees. My fears of a limb crashing on to the house next to ours was quickly diffused when I saw the limbs come down in a smooth and controlled manner. It was fascinating to watch the overgrown, neglected trees take new shape. Adam paid close attention to what our trees needed and tended to them thoroughly. They left no mess behind and worked literally til the sun went down. Our project was a huge undertaking but it was tackled professionally and finished on time. Highly recommend!

Sumner Tree and Log... Rescued my cat!  Stuck in tree almost 3 days...
Adam, Sarah and crew, top top notch!

First, sorry this is a little long.... Second, I have never written a review for anyone.... but these guys deserve one and are this special, I promise... meet em and you will agree.

My cat was chased up a tree by a loose dog, she was 45' up in the air.
I had searched the internet, called numerous tree companies, arborist, vets, fire department, police, animal control, everything you can think of....

2 days ago, I found an arborist that was recommended a number of times by a lot of reviews/posts on the internet for cat rescue... I won't name names. He promised he would get my cat out of the tree, no matter what or what time of day.  Apparently he has a bunch going on in his life right now, but I have to say, broken promises cause more time to go by and more stress on my cat and me.... after multiple calls and texts yesterday, he finally texted back at 7 pm  he had a family issue... was still hopeful he would come with rain coming late evening and more this morning...
more calls and texts yesterday and again this morning with no response.... after almost 3 days stuck up a tree, I gave up on him.
Now desperate, started trying again this morning ...
God is Good, first call found Sumner Tree and Log.
Sara answered the call, with immediate concern and confidence, said we will certainly get her down the tree, we have rescued cats before... will be out there at 10am.... 10am, they are at my front door... they were so nice, so empathetic, so professional, so confident in their ability.... I could tell they are knowledgeable with how they analyzed and assessed the trees and task they needed to perform.
Adam and his assistant (sorry think his name is Brian) gets rigged up, harnessed, scales the tree and 15 minutes later Adam has my cat safe on the ground and back in her home.
Almost impossible to find people with this integrity and doing people right now a days.
Even though i was having a cat rescued and not needing tree service... I am 100% confident after talking with them, seeing how they work, and the equipment and knowledge they have, I will 100% use them for anything I have in the future that is tree related.
I have a knack of being a good judge of people when I meet face to face...  These guys are them, can't say enough good about them.
You have a tree that needs pruned, cut down, stump ground, pulled completely out, or a cat rescued, call Sara and Adam at Sumner Tree and Log.... I assure you,  you will write a review like me.

Adam and Sarah helped rescue a cat from one of our trees. I plan on calling them the next time I need any tree related service. They were incredibly kind and considerate. Adam clearly knows what he’s doing and Sarah did an excellent job of communicating with me. I highly recommend them.

Adam Hubey had done good work for my neighbor. Mine was a tricky job since one part of a very large oak had fallen across the creek and into the neighbor’s yard. The rest was still standing. He and his crew finished w the cuts, hauls and chipping in half a day. At my request, they dropped the chips for future use and also deposited some good logs at the back for firewood. They cleaned up nicely. He has all the necessary heavy equipment and is a skilled climber/ chain operator. Very reasonable price and done within days of my first call.

Adam was great! We met him through our neighbor and couldn’t be happier. We live in TN only part time. Being able to leave Adam on his own communicating from 2,000 miles away could have been difficult but it was not at all! He was very trustworthy and the tree he removed was in a very difficult spot headed right through our house. He was able to remove the tree with no issues
We will definitely definitely use Adam and his crew again!

Recently moved to Hendersonville and needed a large tree very close to my home removed. Sumner Tree service did a fantastic job and I felt assured the tree wouldn’t damage my roof /home. They appeared to have top quality tools and equipment. We decided to use them to remove and clean up the entire 2.5 acres. Was very pleased with their professional.

Alec and Adam are extremely professional reliable and efficient. They were quick to respond to a family pet stuck in a tree. The situation was handled with care and concern for the pet as well. There are still good people out there!! I will not hesitate to recommend or use for any tree service needed. Thank you so much!

I had an awesome experience with Sumner Tree and Log. Adam is a very experienced tree climber. Between his ropes and his crew, they were able to bring the big limbs down safely away from the house. I was very pleased with their fast and efficient work. I would use Sumner Tree and Log Service again without hesitation.
