TOPDOWN ROOFING

Topdown put a new roof on my daughter’s house and she was very satisfied with their results. When my wife and I needed a new roof, we checked reviews and chose them. They worked very well with our insurance company and installation began. They did an excellent job and cleaned up completely afterwards.
Then problems began. We had given them checks for our deductible and for our solar panels reinstallation, so we thought that no further bills would come. But we received a further bill for $3600! We phoned them and they said that we would receive a further check from our insurance company to cover it. I asked whether we would receive any more bills and they said no. When the check came, it was for $5000! I thought that our insurance had given us extra for our solar panels. We soon received another bill for $1400 from Topdown! We finally reached agreement and I paid the $1400.
The billing department was very unprofessional and failed to explain their alternative billing. They sent us two different invoices with different amounts, but they had the same invoice number! We agreed to a conference call for three o’clock, but they didn’t call until 4:30! They were clearly working from home and there were children screeching in the background. It was all a mess! Can’t recommend!
