Another great experience from Standard! We’ve moved since the review below, and the HVAC at our new house needed service, and to have a humidifier taken out of the system. Noah Tindell was able to get to us early because he’d wrapped up the job he was on. In addition to being courteous and personable, Noah is super efficient and very knowledgeable about HVAC systems! No wonder he got the first job done early. Anyway, he got everything taken care of with expert craftsmanship and we are very pleased with Noah and the Standard Air team!

Just a quick shout-out to Standard Air and their great team! I don’t usually do reviews, but I received service from Standard that people only talk about and thought this deserved mention.

Background: Our old HVAC died right at the end of the cooling season last October and Standard installed a new Lennox Gas-Pack. The installation went great, no problems, and the unit ran great all winter. The AC was never needed after the installation until we had the first hot weekend in April. When we turned it on it was not working…

I called in 1st thing Monday morning and Kelly was incredibly helpful. No runaround whatsoever, the only question she had was “can I send a tech out this morning?”…! Of course I said yes and Eddie Nuchols arrived mid-morning. He quickly diagnosed that the condenser fan motor was seized up and we’d need to get a new one. He thought it was a part that Lennox should have in stock. I was totally surprised when he called back later to see if he could return that afternoon and put it in, which he did, working past 5:00 to get it done! It turned out he had stopped by the Lennox warehouse on the way back to Standard’s shop, just to check if they had the motor, and they did…

So we were up and running all in one day, with two trips from Standard to get it done!

For those wondering why a brand new unused motor failed after passing the installation burn-in test, evidently there was a faulty seal, and the winter weather worked itself in there. Eddie took it apart after he got it out to see what was going on. The rotor was rusted to the stator inside the motor where the water had gotten in.

Fast, fair, and high quality work! Standard Air came out in a matter of hours and repaid my HVAC system! A+

Noah and his guys were fast, efficient, and great communicators. I would highly recommend this organization!
