I called for a quote and was able to arrange an appointment that same day. John came out and surveyed the project and was able to give me a quote. After accepting the quote, he was able to do the job the very next day. The job was multifaceted From inside to out outside, including underneath my crawlspace. John was able to finish the job in less time than he anticipated, and it was all done professionally. It was a pleasure speaking to him, as he is very knowledgeable in his field. After getting three other estimates before I decided to use his service, it was clear that he was not only very competitive in his pricing but also totally upfront and honest about his charges. I would recommend using his company over any other for any job larger small. He loves his work and it shows. The quality of the job was outstanding.

I had a replacement kitchen faucet job that was already done by one of Knoxville’s big plumbing contractors and leaked like a sieve. The company said it was a manufacturer defect in the brand new out of the box faucet that I had purchased from a local supplier. I called Payne’s plumbing for a second opinion and not only did he arrive promptly, he went into my crawl space and corrected my immediate problem and replaced my faucet after thoroughly examining the “defective” one. To John’s credit, he verified the faucet was defective and still covered under manufacture warranty, replaced it with a new one within 30 minutes, and the work he performed was 1/2 the price I would have paid to correct my additional issue with the other company. I was very impressed with his professionalism, honesty, and matter of fact approach to fix my problem. Although the other big company says they have a 24 hour response, they did not show up for 4 days to check on the leaky faucet they had installed for me. I’m all in now going with the little guy JOHN PAYNE PLUMBING whenever I need work done promptly again.
