Ryan was exceptional. He fix my pool light when another person told us we had to break out our concrete deck to fix it. My husband dug up around looking for a buried box that they said was there. What he found was a frayed pool light wire. . inside the pipe. I Highly recommend him for maintenance . He knows his stuff.

Unfortunately this owner was not honest with us. Told us we needed a new filter. Got a second opinion said we did not. I don't trust these guys. So to your feedback I can't believe you . It was under my husbands name btw. You were totally dishonest with him and Never showed him anything. But I sure this is not the first time you have done this to people. Shame on you. Thank goodness we got a second opinion.

My wife and I decided to replace our older pool mechanical equipment. The Hayward pumps, filters and heater have never been particularly reliable and the actual configuration of the plumbing was obsolete. We talked with several Knoxville area pool companies about the project. Getting someone to come to the house to develop a scope of work and then providing a quote was like pulling teeth. We then found an advertisement for Ryan Pools in the Jefferson City newspaper and decided to give a call. Ryan Southard returned our message promptly and scheduled a day to take a look. Ryan recommended a fully automated Jandy system with one filter, two pumps, heater and a Pentair Intellibrite pool light. This replaced three Hayward pumps, two filters, a heater and a standard white light. Ryan’s pricing was considerably less that than his competitors for the same equipment. Price is important but we’ve learned over the years not to buy on price alone. We got a good feeling from talking with Ryan that he would do what he said he would do. It was on that basis primarily that we signed a contract with Ryan Pools.

We were not disappointed. Ryan stayed in contact while the equipment was being ordered. He showed up the day after Labor Day (2021) as promised. Our existing plumbing was a mess. Ryan’s plumber, John, removed it then plumbed the new equipment in a neat and tidy package that looks like it was done by a professional, which it was. We are delighted with the smaller footprint.

Ryan and the electrician came the next day to begin the wiring. This is a complicated task because of all the computer-controlled automation. Finally, Ryan had Scott, the regional Jandy representative come to our house to look over the installation and to assist with the programming. He and Ryan explained its operation to us and gave us a lesson on how to control everything, the pool pump, the spa pump, the heater, salt water generation (chlorine) and the light from our smart phones.

Everything is running as designed. My wife and I could not be happier with the system and with Ryan’s work. We expect that it will reduce our electric bill considerably. It most certainly will reduce the amount of labor in maintaining the pool and spa. We are confident that Ryan will assist us should we need help in the future with the system. We can happily give Ryan Pools our highest recommendation. We are absolutely delighted!

Ryan and his staff (from office to the field)are outstanding! They are very conscientious about their work customer service.
