Tree reviews in LaFollette, Tennessee

Very fast response, and fantastic work. Very reasonably priced for the hard work they did to clean up a mess another company left. Very pleased with the service and already planned three more projects with Tolbert's.

Steve was easy to work with. He was on time and the guys were very quick in getting the job done. They went above and beyond what we asked them to do. Would definitely work with again.

Highly recommend! Steve and crew were great. Very responsive to voicemail and text. Showed up on time and completed the job fast and skilled. We had 3 smaller trees removed after Steve's inspection that they were dead/dying and 4 others trimmed. Reasonable pricing and they cleaned up the yard/work area. Even gave us advice on how to prune some smaller bushes ourselves when the weather cools.

10/10 highly recommend, they did so good cutting down our trees especially with them being right next to our power lines. (Also we got a comedy show left on our ring camera for us to enjoy😂)

I had a tree branch fall in my yard that needed to be cleaned up. I contacted Tolbert Tree Service and they responded quickly and made it out the very next day to get it cleared up(even in the rain!)! They got it taken care of in no time and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. Thanks Steve!

Steve and crew did a fantastic job removing trees in an efficient and rapid pace. It was fascinating to observe how they ensured my house would not be damaged during the process. I am definitely hiring them again.

Steve and his Tolber Tree Service were asked to cut down large pine trees close to our pool with minimum room between our neighbors property. They did an amazing job and completed the work with no issues. Highly recommend Steve and his team.

I had three large trees that needed to be removed, all of which were dangerously close to my home and my neighbors’ homes. Steven Tolbert with Tolbert Tree Service was professional, courteous, and did an excellent job from start to finish. He and his crew worked efficiently and made sure everything was done safely. I appreciate the quality of his work and would absolutely recommend Tolbert Tree Service to anyone needing tree removal or other tree work.

I highly recommend Tolberts tree service. I had 5 trees in front of my house approximately 25-30 ft high and about 15 ft from the front porch. Steve, the owner, came out to examine the trees and showed me 2 that were ready to fall and the others would be the same eventually. We then scheduled a day to remove them. On the day of, Steve arrived on time and finished on time. I could tell they knew their business as they knew exactly how to take the trees down and where they would land. It was amazing to watch! Not only was my house in range but also a fence line about 7 ft from the trees. No room for error. They cleaned up the area really well afterward, raking up and taking limbs away.

They did a great job for a reasonable price removing two very large trees in challenging locations.

Tolbert and his guys are awesome, they get the job done fast and safe, they know how to drop trees without damaging anything near by..
UPDATE 11/17/25 I used Tolbert again for another job and just like last time they were able to get it scheduled right away, pretty much the next day and got the job knocked out, these guys are great and dont mess around. Very reliable company which is hard to find these days

We had a tree by one of my cabins that we management and we were looking for a company to cut some trees and we were not able to find someone who can do the job in next two days but we called Tolbert’s tree services and Steven and his team were able to come and take care of the trees the next day they were awesome and they understood what needed to be done. They did a great job and would highly recommend them.❤️

Steve and his crew did an amazing job clearing multiple large trees from behind and around our garage! There were huge branches hanging out over the garage which made for a challenge, but this team handled it with wisdom and confidence.
I highly recommend Steve and his crew, they are fast, efficient and super great guys to work with too. Licensed,
insured and very fair prices! I cant say enough good about these boys! Give them a call, if you need tree work, you wont regret it.

recently hired Tolbert’s Tree Service, owned by Steve Tolbert, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Steve was professional, clear, and upfront about the work that needed to be done. His crew removed several large trees quickly and safely while taking great care of my property. They worked efficiently, cleaned up thoroughly, and left my yard looking better than before. Steve communicated well, showed up as promised, and delivered excellent results. Highly recommend!

Steve (owner) and Nick did a spectacular job topping off the trees in my back yard. He charged a very reasonable price. Both men were very friendly, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Tolberts Tree Service.

They were able to come out the same day to quote us for a tree removal in front of our house & then remove it the next day for us to be able to close on our house! I would definitely recommend! The price was also cheaper than another quote we got.

Steve and his team did an excellent job bringing down a large hickory tree in the back of our property. They were prompt in communication and provided a great price. Will certainly call him again if I need another tree taken down.

Showed up on time. Did an outstanding job.
Pricing was very reasonable. Friendly crew.
They took down 5 massive trees and several smaller ones. They were done before lunch.
I would absolutely recommend these guys.

We had a couple of large trees on our property that needed to come down and saw Tolberts Tree Service looking for winter work on Facebook. I gave them a call and they came out the same day to give us an estimate. The estimate was very fair and made an appointment for him to come out the next morning. They arrived exactly on time and within a few hours had both trees down.

Everyone was skilled and very professional. We would definitely recommend Tolberts Tree Service.

Steve and his crew did a great job, showed up early and topped our trees and cleaned up so we can get our mtn view back, the taller trees to the right our not on our property! Highly recommend him, very reasonable on cost as well

I’d highly recommend Steve and his team! They took down two large oaks from our property that were in very sensitive areas and one wrong move would’ve taken out our house and/or shed. These guys handled it like pros. Very reasonable prices also. We got estimates from three different companies, Steve and his team were far more reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
