Constraction reviews in Memphis, Tennessee

Best experience I ever had and I thank Mr. Marvin for going over things. I also wanna thank him for answering my questions and taking his time. I recommend him any day of the week.

EHIC inspector Marvin Dear, We really appreciated your superior inspection; with detailed explanations. We also appreciate the very quick turn time in receiving our writtin repot. Highly recommend !!

Edwards home inspection company inspected my home thoroughly and in a timely manner. The inspector was very professional. During the inspection he was very detailed and courteous. He answered any questions that I had and didn't seemed rushed or confused. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to buy or rent a home.

The last time I used his service, he offended my client. He spent the entire appointment talking politics with a client who had an opposite point of view. He would not stop, and my client also said he gave her email to companies that he partnered with, so she was inundated with emails.

Marvin was very educated and informed us about literally everything. He is awesome

Marvin was a great inspector. He was on time. He came an did what he came to do with no problem. Very friendly an nice. Great customer service.

Marvin does a great job. Not only does he a do a very thorough inspection, but he takes the time to explain his findings to me and recommend how to or who can fix things.

Marvin inspected the sewer drain for a house that we are looking to possibly buy. He was very informative and explained the situation clearly! We highly recommend them.

If you are looking for someone to thoroughly inspect your home and promptly send the report and give recommendations... this is the guy! I was able to schedule a home inspection within the week I needed him and he arrived WAY earlier than the appointment time. His report is full of pictures (which is what I love). I highly suggest this company for your home inspection needs.

Amazing company! The inspector showed up on time, was very professional, very thorough, very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. The report was very detailed and well put together, that included clear digital images and an easy to follow outline of the work that was done.
As a single woman purchasing a home, and maybe not knowing all the ins and outs of what to expect, I felt as though I was in the hands of a family member, who was personally making sure I was equipped to make the best possible decision going forth. This experience was awesome and the service, phenomenal! This company truly went above and beyond for me and provided the peace of mind needed to proceed in my closing with confidence. This is my first home, and Edwards Inspection will certainly get the job for my next one!
They get 100 stars....Keep up the outstanding work guys!

Marvin was very knowledgeable, Respectful and helpful. Will recommend Edwards Home Inspection to our family and friends. Marvin you did a great job feel very comfortable going into our new home. Thanks a lot Gwynn Family

Marvin was very responsive and polite when setting up the inspection. He provided us with a very thorough inspection report the same day that he conducted the inspection, and included plenty of pictures. I would highly recommend Edward Home Inspection to anyone in the market.

First off, you should know I'm picky. I like to ask a lot of questions and I dont accept 'I dont know' as an answer. When I hired Marvin Dear, I was taking a leap of faith, both as a first time home buyer and as a transplant to Memphis. To say I was not disappointed is an understatement.

First off, Marvin is knowledgable. Having spent years in reparation of homes under what I can assume was extremely knowledgable tutalidge, he knew exactly what he was looking at and for every step of the way. He was happy to explain the ins and outs of everything he looked for and how our own house applied every step of the way.

Secondly, he was thorough. There was no point of the property he didnt climb through or up to to make sure our first home was sound and safe many years to come. He gave us pointers about upkeep and ran us through what the original builders did and why they did things the way they did.

Lastly, Marvin was as personable as they come. He was friendly and professional and fun to be around. I didnt know a inspection could be such a wonderful experience, but sometimes people surprise me in the best ways.

Parting ways, I felt as if Marvin was a family friend. He was interested in making sure we would be safe and happy in our new home and I would be glad to utilize his expertise in the future.

Dont know of Edwards Home Inspections? That's okay! Let his reviews do the talking because I can assure you, you won't be disappointed! This is the kind of care you can come to expect from someone who has a personal stake in the wellbeing of your home.

Mr. Dear promptly responded to my inquiry and explained his services, availability and pricing. He was personable, arrived early and conducted a thorough inspection.

His report was delivered within 24 hours, it was easy to read, informative and accurately depicted the condition of the house. Based on his report I was able to make an informed decision and moved forward with purchasing the property.

I thank Mr. Dear for his outstanding service and I strongly recommend using him.

I give Mr. Dear a 4 out 5 stars because as we evolve we improve. Very passionate and detailed oriented about his work and his contractors have a like minded attitude. He’s punctual, informative, fair on pricing, and pours his knowledge into you so you understand why he’s doing certain things. His bids are very precise and easy to read so that you can see where your hard earned money is going and how much time he will put into a project. He works fast but efficient. He looks for ways to cut costs and he’s a true professional.

Marvin was not only on time but early, very professional and kind gentleman who made sure to go over everything with us as well as offer suggestions. He not only made sure we felt confident with the inspection process, but also made the process very enjoyable. I'd highly recommend him.

Home inspections can be intimidating when you are depending on the results of a stranger to determine if the dream house you have been looking at is truly "good enough". Marvin Dear walked me through each step and explained his findings. He was professional and extremely thorough when completing the evaluation. The final report was easy to read with clear pictures and notes in different font color to highlight the troubled areas. I made a great investment by choosing Marvin.

So happy with Edward inspection in particular. I carefully researched 3 highly recommended and credentialed inspectors before closing , Andrew was the only one to come extremely well prepared with detailed market pricing comparisons and well reasoned advice. Andrew is a discount inspection company and I was somewhat concerned as to how much work from them I could expect; however, Andrew and the team worked as hard and harder than any team I've ever worked with before. Andrew was readilv available (we used texting mostly for efficiency) and is extremely knowledgeable and did a greets job inspecting the house , Their pricing saved my wife and I a lot of headache in determining weather we wanted to purchase a particular property or not , so I thank you for your service 🙏🏽

Marvin was awesome! Very detailed report and presented concerns along with options to address them! He made what is normally a stressful process very easy to follow and understand!

Mr. Marvin was excellent to work with for our home inspection. The report was detail orientated and very clear on his findings. He called after the inspection to give his initial findings. I appreciated his quality of service and would highly recommend him.

Marvin has a great attention to detail and he is very helpful with any and all questions that I had. I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know that needs a good thorough home inspection done
