Terran called me at 1pm to see about services. I confirmed with my insurance and by 4pm the job was finished. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

If I want it done right, I call Woodland Tree. They were the best value quote, they addressed my neighbors concerns, and I can sleep easy now knowing my insurance is not at risk with trees over the house. Chris Hudson went above and beyond. At Woodland I felt like they cared about my family and house as much as I did. Will recommend.

I had a massive red oak struck by lightning hanging over my house. Taren came the same day and gave me a fair price and his crew was extremely professional and completed the work very quickly and there was no trace of the tree left when they were done. The whole process was seamless and extremely easy for myself as a homeowner. I highly recommend this team.

Very professional, on time and excellent job. We moved from California to Memphis and we didn’t had so many big trees there. Our property now has several big trees (around 7) they trimmed them fast and exactly where we wanted. I recommend them for any tree services. And a very good price. This is easily the best arborist company in the area. The Woodland Tree people are ultimate professionals. One could not wish for a better experience. The project for which we engaged them was not cheap, but it was worth every penny. The workers were extremely careful not to damage any surrounding plants, trees, or structures. The yard was left spotless when they were done. It was a pleasure to talk to the crew foreman. Excellent all the way around.

Update February 11, 2026: We used Woodland Tree Service again, following the massive ice storm that hit the Oxford area badly late last month. The damage to trees and landscape is unbelievable all around, including our place--huge destruction everywhere. Owner Terran Arwood's bid struck me initially as pretty high, but when a 12-man team showed up and worked non-stop for two solid days, it seemed more than reasonable and very fair. Amazing work. These guys are professionals, love trees, and have all the equipment one can imagine. At one point we had four climbers up in four different trees, each with ground-crew assistance. They don't butcher trees but trim carefully and no more than necessary. Everything now looks like it got a good haircut, but the overall effect is extraordinary and back to what it was before. Highly recommended.

Prompt, professional estimate. Great work. They showed up 2 days after a.nafural disaster. Worked closely and knowledgably with insurance company. When Woodland showed up and started working - crane, climbers, etc -- the other crews in the neighborhood stopped working and pulled out their cell phones and started filming.

I have been a customer for over 5 years and I can tell you that it’s peace of mind knowing I can rely on Chris to tell me if there’s a problem with any of my trees. I have often sent him a photo of something I was concerned about and he quickly gets back to me. I can’t say enough about their services and pricing. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I came to the tough decision of taking down a very old, very large oak tree in our backyard. It was a beautiful tree, but many of its massive limbs hung over our house, and it put so much debris in our pool.
Woodland came as a recommendation from one of my coworkers. I got quotes from Woodland and one other tree service. Woodland was much more reasonable. We knew it would be an expensive tree to take down with its size and location, but Woodland gave us a fair price.
They were very fast to respond to my request for a quote. I think I had my quote within 3 days. Once I approved it, they were out to my house a week later. Very fast turnaround.
The crew was great. They got all the removal done in one day. They cleaned up very well. The stump grinder came by first thing the next morning and got the job finished up.
They have a crane and a bunch of other machines which made them very efficient.
Though I hated losing the tree, I am very happy they took care of it.

Woodland Tree Company did a fantastic job for us! They safely and efficiently cut down a large tree and also took care of another that had fallen. The crew worked quickly, cleaned everything up beautifully, and left the yard looking better than before. Their pricing was very fair and reasonable, and the quality of their work was outstanding. Professional reasonable prices can’t say enough about how much I appreciate them and their work ethic. Explained what they were doing, how and made it look easy. The tree was about 40 feet high, mostly dead, surrounded by power lines on two sides, houses on the other two, impressive.

We were still in the ice storm when Justin came by to discuss our situation: many branches and a weighty sycamore on our home in Oxford. They began while it was still frozen outside and bitter cold. The guys were here, bundled up and chopping and sawing away. The crane would have been here the next day but the road wasn’t clear enough for it…two days later, we watched that “ballet” of removing that large sycamore from our dining room/bedroom roof. It was choreographed like fine dancing…a joy to watch, with all workers knowing their job and doing it. Woodland did a fine job!

Stocking up on emergency firewood for the upcoming storm was a breeze! The team was very helpful and the firewood is dry and seasoned. The personal service I received was very appreciated as was their professionalism!

The firewood I bought was too much for my truck to hold, and the delivery service and assistance unloading was a real time saver. We stacked it just where I wanted it! Five stars!

We have used Woodland Tree several times for pruning our old oak trees. Arborist Jeff has always been there for us when we have been worried about our trees. He takes his time, never seeming rushed in having to explain what is or is not going on. WT has always done an excellent job at a reasonable price, and everyone associated with them is kind in addition to being highly professional. Thank you, Jeff and WT!

Woodland Tree service was working on my street after the recent Ice Storm in Oxford, ms. I had one tree that needed to be removed off my house. A very small project compared to the many trees Woodland was helping my neighbors with. Woodland came down and removed our tree in no time and was so helpful and gracious in doing so. Woodland's managers and employees were so helpful even though they have been working very long hours in this disaster. Thank you so much Woodland for helping me and my family get past this storm. I highly recommend Woodland to anyone needing any tree related services.

We just had Woodland come by and take out an enormous oak tree from our backyard. I knew I would only trust one company with such a big tree and that's Woodland. Great fair pricing, excellent and professional crew, and spotless clean up. They are the best tree company in the city for a reason.

Sometime ago, upon the advice of a neighbor, we had occasion to use Woodland tree service to remove a huge damaged tree from our backyard. An estimate was received in a timely manner, and the work began at the time promised. It was obvious that the crew had worked together for some time, as evidenced by their efficiency. Once they finished, the stump was pulled and they cleaned up absolutely everything. We’ve had occasion to use Woodland many times for jobs both big and small…I highly recommend!

Posting this for my aunt…Woodland did a great job removing our 30 year old lightning struck oak tree. Chris came out to inspect the tree to see if it might be saved but we decided it was best to go ahead and have it removed. Pricing was competitive with other quote we got and the crews took down the dying tree and removed and cleaned up everything for us. Very pleased with their service and to have the tree taken care of.
