Again, Morristown Tree Service comes through with another exceptional job. The recent storms caused a midsize tree to topple over. Tree service quoted a reasonable price to remove tree and debris. One morning just a couple of days after storm and all work complete efficiently and left our yard clean. Thank you Matt and his East Morristown Team. The best group!

Hey everybody, in my opinion Morristown Tree Service is the ONLY local Tree Service you should use. Matt and his team were utter professionals from start to finish throughout our process. We had no less than five (5) very, very large trees, some of them 80-100 feet tall, with trunks 3 feet across, leaning over our beloved and beautiful 105 year old farmhouse.

After we had a different giant tree fall from across our road nearly crushing our house, we took it as a sign from god that it was time to get the other trees taken down before terrible damage was done. We made the decision to hire Matt and Morristown Tree Service after reading their good reviews, and having a good experience with Matt when he came to our property to give us an estimate. Matt articulately described for us all the details of how the job would work, and we immediately got the feeling we were in good hands with him. We did gather other quotes, but we had the best feeling about Matt from our meeting with him, and made the decision to hire Morristown Tree Service for the job.

Some of the large limbs were hanging directly over our roof, and others were hanging over power lines, near our utility service drop. Definitely a tough technical challenge to take care of these monstrous trees without dropping them on our beautiful old house or those power lines. Matt’s team executed the job with the precision of surgeons, strapping up each limb and gently lowering them to the ground after cutting, taking great care to make sure no damage was done to our property.

Matt's team were respectful and helpful and hardworking, from 8 in the morning all the way till dark to get this massive job done in just one day. Matt's foremen, James and Jeff, were helpful and personable, and communicated effectively with us to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction.

Additionally, in order to help us with our price point, Matt and his team took several dump truck loads of trunks and large limbs and deposited them in a corner of our property, where I plan on cutting them up into firewood over the next several months. This compromise helped us a lot, and cut us a break on the pricing in terms of transporting all of the dump truck loads offsite, which would have cost a lot more in labor and time, given our somewhat remote rural location and distance from their yard.

We have several other very large trees on the property and so I am sure I will need to call on Matt and his team again at some point in the future, and next time I won't even gather any other quotes, because Matt's team’s service was so excellent. In our opinion, you should definitely hire them if you are considering having tree work done at your property. This team is composed of consummate professionals and you will not be disappointed.

We are looking forward to finally sleeping peacefully when the rain storms come this season, knowing that we don't have large trees threatening our home any more.

Matt and the crew at Morristown Tree Service did a fantastic job removing our huge 100 year old sugar maple tree. A large limb had fallen on my detached garage and they were able to remove it with no additional damage. Most of the remainder of the tree was over my house and with the proper equipment and extreme skill they were able to remove it without touching the house. The price was very reasonable and the crew was extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. I highly recommend them and will definitely call them again when I need tree service. We had a massive oak tree in our front yard that was uprooted in a storm in the early hours of Memorial day morning. This tree fell on our front porch and destroyed it and our daughters car that was only a year old that was parked under porch in front of the garage door. We called and Matt came out and gave us a price he said he would be out and get the tree off porch and car so insurance company could come and get the car. He did that on a Friday then came back on Monday to clean up the rest of the tree. He even had to use a 60 ton crane to remove the 19,000 lb
rootball. We were very pleased with Matt and his crew for the job they did and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs tree work done.

Had a very large pine tree that was leaning toward the house and was starting to pull out of ground. I called Morristown Tree Service and in a very short order Matt Stuart came out and inspected the site. He shared my concern the tree was going to tip out very soon noted and there was an interfering power line to the house. Matt quoted a more than reasonable job price, we shook hands on that deal and I said let's do it. Matt committed to having a team later that day or early the next, sooner if possible. Within two hours Morristown tree service was onsite and working. These folks are careful, professional and waste no time. Cleanup was extremely efficient. I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of this company. I highly recommend them for any tree removal needs you have. They are without question a 5 star+ company.

I hired Morristown Tree Service to remove two (2) large stumps from next to my house. They were prompt to review the job and provide me a quotation and then when I was ready to have the stumps removed they were quick to complete the work. Matt and his crew where excellent to deal with. Very reasonable pricing and very professional. Came right out for estimate and tailored to our needs. My scenario involved a very large dangerous tree close to our home in which he knew the safest route to take care of the problem along with taking care of a few other trees that needed to go. Was extremely pleased with the overall service. Price was lowest in the area and I had heard good things about MTS. My tree was extremely large and was in an enclosed area surrounded by aluminum fencing. Once scheduled, the crew showed on time, was quick, efficient and took extreme care in removing the tree. I was amazed at what was left behind, nothing but a trunk. It was as if the tree had not been there. Everything was cleaned and removed and done so in a very short amount of time. I highly recommend MTS!!

He and his team arrived promptly the very next morning to remove the tree that we were very concerned would fall on our home. They were finished in less than two hours and left nothing but a stump. Matt Stewart and his crew came to the rescue recently when a large tree next to our home was struck by lightning. This was a very difficult job due to the proximity of the tree to our house and our neighbor's house. Additionally, this 100 foot oak tree had a twisted trunk making dropping it safely an extra challenge! After carefully surveying the situation the tree was taken down in the most expert fashion. Everyone was so polite and kept us well informed as to the plan. Great guys. And did an amazing job!

I had a 60' tree that was well beyond my ability to remove. I wanted to put a garage in the area, but there were broken branches and I didn't want to risk having the tree there.
I called Morristown who came out and gave me the best price of the 3 services I contacted.
They came out at 8:30 as promised and were done by 10, Amazing! That's the tree cut down, stacked and all the branches chipped up. There was a crew of who couldn't have been nicer and they did everything I asked.

Mat and the guys were very quick in getting to our 60yr old maple that started to uproot from the hurricane. They did a great job of getting and removing tree with very minimal damage to the yard.

We met Matt, the owner of Morristown Tree Services, as we were eating lunch in town. We talked to him about getting an estimate, and he set up an appointment that afternoon. We were well pleased with the quote. Matt had an opening, and his men come by that day! They cut down our trees in less than an hour. They next morning, they ground down the stumps, and cleaned up everything very neatly. Everyone on the team was exceptionally professional, courteous, and efficient.
