Pex Softwash

We recently hired Pex Softwash to clean our house and paver driveway. They did a great job with the actual cleaning, and our home and pavers look fantastic. However, there was a major miscommunication about the sand we specifically requested to be used between our pavers. We had clearly asked for the polymeric (hardening) sand, but standard sand was used instead.
When we brought this up and even offered to pay more to have the correct sand used, the company declined to redo the job or provide an updated quote. I completely understand that misunderstandings can happen, but what disappointed us most was the lack of willingness to help correct the issue, even when we were willing to pay for it. Because of that, we will now have to find another company or do the work ourselves to have it completed correctly.
Our entire driveway is pavers, so this wasn’t a minor detail. If you have pavers, I strongly recommend getting every detail in writing, especially the materials and products that will be used, to avoid this type of situation. It’s unfortunate because their washing work was excellent, but the handling of the miscommunication left us very disappointed.

Pex Softwash did an absolute amazing job on my driveway, patios, and fence. Even with a heavy rain, the persistence to finish the job was top notch. I definitely know who I will be calling next spring!
