Chris and Alan from Adams & McCoy Electrical were a pleasure to work with. I initially called them for intermittent power issues in my home. They ended up running new 200-amp service, grounding the house, and replacing both a fuse box and subpanel with a new breaker panel.

We had family coming into town and were dealing with repeated power loss. Although they weren’t able to get us on the schedule for the full installation until the following week, Chris made a special trip out and installed a dedicated breaker for the refrigerator to hold us over in the meantime. That level of service really stood out.

There were some delays due to permitting issues with the city and NES, as new processes created some complications. This resulted in a few reschedules, but Chris consistently kept me informed with updates, which I appreciated. While it was temporarily frustrating, they ultimately completed the job and did excellent work.

Alan even stayed late to make sure everything was finished cleanly and correctly. We also ran into an issue with the thermostat receiving power but not turning on. I told Alan not to worry about it since it was getting late and planned to replace it myself. However, they called the next morning, said they had a thermostat, and came back out to resolve the issue. It turned out to be related to the original 1950s wiring and how it connected to the old fuse box, but they were able to fix it and get everything working, without needing to replace the thermostat.

There were a few bumps along the way, but overall these guys are honest, dependable, and professional. Their price also came in nearly $2,000 less than one of the larger companies in town. I’ll be hiring them again soon to install a few new outlets and update additional wiring. You really can’t beat the level of professionalism they provide at this price.

Chris and Alan both met me to provide and estimate. I liked their responsiveness right away. It was evident that they were a team and friends. Their price was extraordinary and less than half of one of the other bidders. Though the price was truely the lowest, the service was top level and covered everything I wanted and needed. They answered my questions plainly and clearly. They were cleane and expeditious in there work and arrived exactly on time. I will definitely use them when I have more work.

Had an emergency and they showed up within a couple hours and solved my problem. Definitely recommend!
