I have needed parts for several backflows znd it was nice to have a place in Knoxville with all tye parts in stock that I needed.

Employees are not very nice and did not complete the job correctly. Will not be using them in the future at my current job.

Backflow Specialty Co Inc, Way over charged us. We called in a service request and spoke with Brad and explained what we needed. We were specific. The crew showed up did the work. Then we got a bill for over double. We were quoted 350.00 and the bill was over 960.13. Brad was unwilling to work with us on the price and accused us of not requesting extensive service like as originally did. I was in company while our conversation was had. And we did in fact ask for a full rebuild do to the access issue we were dealing with. I suggested to Brad, this was our first experiences with his company, and would like some consideration. The parts that we used did not cost the difference we were billed and the actual service call lasted no more that 1.5 hours on sight. Run from them, find some one else. Their word is not their bond.

I called several other companies to ask about fixing my backflow that was spraying water out of the bottom. I was told by all that there was no "fixing" one and it had to be replaced for prices of $350 or more! I called Backflow Specialty to get a quote on replacing it. He asked why I needed to replace it. So I told him the scenario. He stated that in many cases they can be repaired for a much lower fee. They came out the next day and repaired it for $55! All it needed was to be cleaned out. Thanks for the awesome and honest service!

This is the third time I have used Backflow Specialty in the past 18 years and their work is always excellent. They are responsive, show up when they say they will, do a great job on whatever repair is needed all at a reasonable price. Best of all, they recertify the backflow and pass that information on to the utility company so that I do not have to do that. Highly recommend them.

Update: I scheduled my testing with this company once again and they were quick, professional, and got all info entered to comply with KUBs cross connection policies and deadlines. So for 8 years they have been my go to.

We have used Backflow Specialty Company since 2016 for our annual backflow test. They have always been on time, professional, and willing to answer all questions. They also do all the paperwork for KUB so that it gets entered correctly before the July deadline. FYI: The horrible blue glue was there when we bought so not reflective of their work.

Backflow Specialty Company needs to work on their professionalism and respect. Very rude, intrusive, argumentative, and unprofessional. If you at all have questions about their process, their go to response is to threaten to shut off your water. I guess we shouldn't ask questions when strangers show up to our doors. Please do better

There is no doubt in my mind that if I need assistance from any one of the employees at Backflow Specialty I am getting the best, most thorough and professional answers/help. The best part of this business is their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. He is the backbone of this business and they openly share that it wouldn't be possible without Him. That in itself describes why this business is as successful as it is and that is why they will always have my business and support.🥰

I initially had a few issues with the service, and I was frustrated at first. However, once the owner became aware of the situation, he personally called me to discuss what had happened. He took full responsibility, addressed the concerns immediately, and made things right without hesitation.

In my opinion, that kind of accountability and follow-through says more about a company than never making a mistake at all. It's easy to shine when things go smoothly—it's how a business responds to challenges that shows its true worth.

Because of how the owner handled things, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them over any other company in town. That level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction is rare and deserves recognition.
