I would highly recommend Mr. Bucy for any electrical project that you may have. We called for his service, he was at our home within 30 minutes and scheduled the work for a time that was convenient for us. They showed up on time and completed our project to our complete satisfaction. This was our first experience with a Tennessee contractor at our new vacation home and we could not be more pleased with the experience.

I highly recommend this company without hesitation and will use in the future for any of our electrical needs.

My brother had storm damage. A tree knocked down his wires and electrical pole and was out of power for 3 days. We thought electric company would repair and replace pole on our property to find out that we needed to contact an electrician. I called Bucy Electric at 8am on a Monday they had someone out there in one hour. They gave us an estimate at that time. We said they could perform the work and they were out there the next morning and completed the work in 2 hours. They installed a new pole and connected the wires contacted the electric utility company and we were up and running in less than 4 hours. They arrived that morning when they said they would "right on time", replaced pole connected us up talked to utility company and they were gone. We had no previous experience with this company, they were courteous, friendly and as responsive as humanly possible. They estimated job and there were no surprises. Very reasonable price. Most importantly my brother is 83 years old without air conditioning in a very hot summer. They treated us like family during an emergency situation without hesitation. We could not have been more pleased.

We had a hot water heater go out during a guest's stay at our cabin which couldn't be repaired but required a replacement. Our plumber asked me to contact Bucy Electric to do the new wiring that would be required . Duane was extremely professional and fully understood the urgency of the situation since I had a week rental at risk if it wasn't fixed. He was kind enough to work us into an already full day and worked seamlessly with our plumber to make it happen. We have used Bucy before as well and I can't say enough about their response and professionalism. Thank you Duane!

I could not be more impressed with Bucy Electric. The amount of patience that Duane showed today dealing with a faulty EV charger and the customer support to get the account working - it was amazing. They have helped us several times now and have been just awesome every time. Thank you!

This company is amazing. Came out the same day I called , found the problem and fixed it. I was also having problems with my outside outlets and they found the problem with those and corrected it. I would highly recommend this company for any of your electric needs. Fast, friendly and professional!!!!

Duane Bucy is not only a top notch electrician, but a top notch person. He installed the service on my new pole barn and walked me through the process of doing the interior wiring myself. He also upgraded the service panel on my house and ran a new line for a hot tub. He is always on time, always personable, and always helpful and easy to work with. I’ll never use anyone else. 5 stars all the way!!

OMG! I will NEVER call anyone else. I called Bucy about installing a backup generator for our rental cabin in the middle of the supply chain issues.

Why call anyone else?

Duane, the owner, did the estimate. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He took time to listen to what we wanted and even told us to check into a few things that might not need his service, so as to save us money. We had our estimate within 48hrs. He told us that it might be a few weeks before we could have the work done. But about a week later, he called with a cancellation and wanted to know if he could move the work up. The team came out that day. David and Brandon (trainee) were polite, friendly, easy to get along with. Their work was efficient and very detail oriented. We had an old chandelier fixture from my parents house that was particularly difficult to get securely installed. David kept working on it until it was done to his and our satisfaction. Overall we were extremely impressed with this company. We have already recommended them to a neighbor and will continue to recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about Mr. Bucy and his company. I discovered him this summer while making phone calls to inquire about a circuit repair. He was actually out of state visiting family but took the call on his cell, and took the time to speak with me and go over my issues in detail, providing advice and a recommendation for another excellent contractor. Even offered his condolences for my mother Keren who I told him had passed away recently. Bucy made such a wonderful impression I knew I had to work with him on my home projects. I have since had him out to do an electrical inspection and now to install several new light fixtures and smoke alarm. Duane is polite, professional, always on time and works quickly but confidently, efficiently and thoroughly. He communicates well and makes things easy to understand, offering fair and honest estimates. He will certainly be my go-to electrician going forward and someone I will recommend to others.

These folks are absolutely fantastic. As the HOA President of a 25-year old condo complex, we have had reasons to call them on a variety of issues and we have always received prompt, friendly service. They have even gone above and beyond several times with their after-hours follow-up and always make the customer a priority. They fix things for the long term-not just for the present and have recommended several items that have saved us money in the long run. Truly great people.

I hired BC&Sons to wire my garage for a woodworking shop. On February 1st 2022. They came recommended to me by a realtor in Blount County. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants or needs electrical services in their home or business. Here are some of the most positive aspects of hiring BC&Sons:

Trustworthy: I had no hesitation allowing Bill, Grant, or Austin full access to my home.

Respectful: They were all very professional and polite the entire time they were doing the work.

Diligent: Bill, Grant and Austin worked hard the entire time they were at my home. I think they took a short lunch break, but it was over so fast I am not even sure that is what they were doing.

Knowledgeable: Bill made wise recommendations in regard to safety and best practices, but was not pushy about the final decision. I always went with his recommendation based on the trust I had in the work he and his sons were doing.

Punctual: BC&Sons were on time, and a few days prior to the work being done, he phoned to make sure I knew he was coming and he had all of the necessary parts and equipment to complete the job.

Price: I have never had this type of work done before, but there a few things that lead me to believe the price was fair and reasonable:

*The realtor that recommended them has recommended other home services and repair folks to me before. When I have gotten multiple estimates, his recommended folks always came in at the lowest bid.

*One of my neighbors is a retired electrical engineer. Prior to seeking someone to do this work, I asked him what he thought the parts would cost to do this work, his estimate was right in line with what Bill quoted me for the job (factoring in labor).

*Bill quoted me a range, depending on parts used for the job. He did not automatically select the high end of the range when it came time to bill me.

Again, I would highly recommend BC and Sons.

Hired this company to wire in a new hotwater heater, hang new light fixtures and change out worn out outletsl.
Communication before, during and after was excellent. They showed up right on time as promised, completed the job and cleaned up afterwards.
Grant and Bill was courteous, and very knowledgeable.
Their professionalism and patience were greatly appreciated. So happy with the work done.

Bill installed a new outlet in our master bathroom for an electric bidet. He was very easy to communicate and put me on schedule. Her is very professional, explained everything he was going to do yet didn’t bother us much while he was working. When he was finished, he cleaned the work area thoroughly which respected our home.

On another occasion, we just had to call him on the breaker box because the garbage disposal didn’t power on. Instead of coming out on a service call, he walked my husband through with the breakers then even helped him on the disposal. Above and beyond!! A+, 5-STAR PROFESSIONAL!!!
