Constraction reviews in Whitwell, Tennessee

WOW! My kitchen looks great! Alan and his team painted the existing cabinet boxes and added new doors and hardware. His work is excellent. Alan also had a great work ethic-honest, punctual ALL the time, and does what he says. I would highly recommend Barra’s for your painting and refinishing needs!

Amazing work and quality. Allan and his team completely transformed our kitchen! We had all new drawers and cabinet faces/panels built, painted, and installed, as well as the existing cabinet frames painted. New trim, soft close hardware and pulls as well. Job took about two weeks. Allan and his team were very friendly, professional, responsive and were easy to work with with respect to the schedule.

I could not be happier with the overall finished project. It is like we have a brand new kitchen at a much lower cost than installing all new cabinets. There may be cheaper alternatives out there, but the quality we got from Barra's Cabinet Refinishing is incredible. Worth it! I will be using them again to redo cabinets in our bathrooms soon.

Love my “new” cabinets! Barras Cabinets did a fantastic job. They started the job when they said that they would, we’re very professional, personable, and clean. Alan and his team are perfectionists so the final product looks like brand new cabinets. Alan is easy to work with, accessible, and honors his commitments, which is rare in this day and age. His prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the job. If you are looking to refinish your cabinets, you don’t need to search anymore... These guys are the real deal and I promise that you won’t be disappointed!

Alan’s passion and knowledge for his cabinet refinishing business became very apparent upon our first meeting. He listens to what the customer wants and then explains what we need to do to get there. We were very impressed with his attention to every detail, recommendations and follow through. We love the cabinets and highly recommended Barbra’s Refinishing.

Amazing, quality of work and craftsmanship! Alan and his team work quickly to assure they are providing the best quality of work with attention to detail. They refinished my dining room table with chairs.

i would highly recommend Barra’s Cabinet Refinishing. He listened to what I wanted, took my ideas, and made my dream kitchen come to life. He made 50 year old cabinets look like new. He was on time and very professional. The process was just as they explained with no surprises. The quality of work was exceptional! My cabinets turned out absolutely gorgeous!

Alan and his crew were phenomenal! They came in and took very good care of our home while they sanded and painted our existing kitchen cabinets. The end product is beautiful. Alan spent extra time going through to make sure everything was perfect. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them!!

If anyone is looking to reface cabinets I highly recommend Barra's. Alan and his crew did an amazing job from start to finish. I felt like they remodeled my kitchen as if it was their own, paying attention to every detail. I love my kitchen!

Great service. Alan was on time with his schedule which is basically unheard of. His team was incredibly meticulous about protecting the cabinetry surrounding our job. Highly recommend!!

Barra’s updated our kitchen cabinets which were pealing and in desperate need of a facelift! The job was well done and the details were well thought out! Did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Very professional and trustworthy. The kitchen feels so bright and fresh now. Very pleased with his service and already have plans to use again for another project in the house.

Alan and his team did a fantastic job refinishing our cabinets. They showed up as scheduled and finished on time. The resulting job exceeded our expectations in quality. We will use, and recommend them, for our future cabinets.

Alan and his team did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel, it’s night and day transformation. We highly recommend Barra’s for your kitchen remodeling.

We were extremely pleased with the service & workmanship of Alan, owner of Barra’s Refinishing Company. Alan is a honest, reliable and trustworthy businessman and his professionalism is refreshing! Alan completely rebuilt our master vanity, painted, built the custom mirror and the outcome was beautiful! We can/do/would HIGHLY recommend his expert service, and we already have other refinishing jobs planned for the near future.

Allen and his crew were professional, prompt, friendly, kept a clean work area, and honest workers.

I had a out dated kitchen and wanted color. Some of my cabinets were falling apart so we replaced them added panels on the sides and around Island. Moved my cabinets up and painted them NYPD blue. He also added 3 sliders to my pantry and soft close to all drawers and cabinets. We also did away with the window looking into our playroom. I love the work they did and would highly recommend them.

Beautiful!! Changed my life! For several years, I thought about painting our cabinets or just getting all new ones. Our cabinets were great quality and very functional but just very 90’s honey oak, very dated. I could not decide what to do. I really did not want to go through months of renovations. I worried that if I did get new cabinets, I would have buyers remorse because the design, time, or quality didn’t justify spending so much time and money on a complete renovation. I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends and family so the idea of months without a kitchen made me hesitant to do anything. (Barra’s did it in just a week!! Keep reading)

I had spent time with a designer for a whole new kitchen but it seemed like more than I wanted to invest, in money but mostly time. I really just wanted a brighter, more modern kitchen without the stress. In the past, I spent a lot on custom built-in’s but was disappointed in the high price and poor quality when they were put in. So getting new cabinets made me skeptical….I was not sure what to do… Then I talked to Alan at Barra’s…..

Alan and his team are absolutely wonderful! Even though there were others that came up in my search, I chose to call Barra’s because I knew that if he put his name on it, he would stand behind his work. He was immediately responsive, professional, and very knowledgeable. He looked at my project and we discussed any modifications that I wanted to make. The team modified my existing cabinets for new appliances, trash can pull outs, etc…

My home went from the 90’s to 2023 in one week! And I was able to spend a lot less money and time than I would have new cabinets but keep the quality and design I loved. The team is amazing! Everything turned out beautiful and I could not be happier!…I wish I had done this a long time ago! Now I don’t have to think about it, the stress is gone…I just get to love it!!

Alan and his team just did a fantastic job on our cabinets. Showed up when they said they would. Completed the project on time. No change orders or surprises. Truly this was a model of how to run a home services project!

Could not recommend a contractor more highly…and just really great people:)

We thought that we would have to replace our kitchen cabinets, but Barra’s Cabinet Refinishing did an outstanding job in refinishing our old oak cabinets to look new and modern. We highly recommend them if you’re looking to update your cabinets.

Barras did a fantastic job. My kitchen looks amazing. They started my job when they said they would and finished when they said they would. Barra team was very polite and professional. I love my kitchen!! Thanks to Barra team.

Alan and his company came into our kitchen remodel to fix the mess from another contractor. Alan and his team were VERY professional, worked with us to reach solutions to the many issues and the kitchen turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!! Even our dogs like Alan and his team!! We just wish we would have gone to this company to start with.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Barra's Cabinet Refinishing do a quality job and are very professional to work with. It has been a pleasure doing business with them. For the painting part of their project, they put down paper to protect the floor, walled off floor-to-ceiling with plastic sheeting and taped off all edges to protect for paint overspray. Further, they also installed some high-quality new cabinets, soft close door and drawer mechanisms and new brass door and drawer pulls. We would definitely do business with them again.

We are so pleased with our new cabinets! Barra’s Cabinet Refinishing completely refinished, remodeled and added additional (greatly needed) storage and work space. Alan took my vision and brought it to life! Alan Barra is so easy to work with, giving updates frequently and answering any questions that I had. I highly recommend Barra’s if you are thinking of an update or complete remodel. Thanks so much, Alan, for our beautiful cabinets!
