I feel bad that I can't recall the name of the technician, but I had a late-in-the-day air conditioning issue and got in touch with Lamar Heat And Air. I believe I spoke with the owner, and he was able to send someone out to my house that same evening. The issue was resolved quickly. They were incredibly professional and polite. I've had bad luck with dishonest A/C technicians in the past at my rental properties, so it was refreshing to find an honest, ethical company. I can’t recommend Lamar Heat And Air enough.

Entering into year one of having this company as my Heating and A/C service provider and I must say I am impressed after the past two encounters. Dustin and Derek have been consistent with upholding the company’s business slogan, “Taking care of the people.” I am appreciative of their professionalism and knowledge. Initial completion of the project was seem-less from setting an appointment for the quote, day of install and completion. There were no hidden fees or agenda when they arrived to my home. Almost a year later a maintenance call was needed and just as the first encounter with this company, it was the same, although a different technician arrived. The information that they teach related to proper maintenance and care was consistent and supportive of what I had learned on the initial meeting with Dustin. These guys teaches you things that will help you maintain a healthy system that eliminates them from making trips to your home unnecessarily. When a company teaches you how to save you yourself money as the homeowner, that’s when you know they are acting with integrity. Thank you for your honesty and integrity.

Derek was GREAT!! Very quick to diagnose the problem and fix it not to mention how nice he was to come on a weekend in the heat of the day. He had a great attitude and was very respectful and personable. Thank you guys for your quick response and doing a fantastic job.

We recently had our full AC unit go out, we first went to another company that was a little closer but was priced $2000 more than we ended up paying with Lamar, as well as not feeling confident in their knowledge. We are so glad we went with the team at Lamar. They were friendly, professional, and trustworthy. They knew what they were doing and we were really impressed by their warranty plans. We highly reccomend them to anyone now and would never think about calling another company in the future!

Great experience, Lamar got us scheduled quickly and then got to us ahead of schedule. They were very prompt with arrival time as was given and they got the job done. Our ac is back up and running, thank God as the texas heat is not to be played with.

A few weeks ago Derek and Hieu came out for a routine service call, But found some issues we weren’t aware of. ( coil leakage, little to no insulation,and we knew our unit was old). Dustin came out a bit later to go over everything with us . He is very courteous and professional. We had our whole A/C unit replaced plus new insulation in the attic. Dallas and crew did a Great job. They laid tarps down on the floors and cleaned up after. Our new A/C is very quiet and is working Great.
We recommend you use Lamar heat and air. All Great guys!

Hugh from Lamar A/C came out this morning (5/14) to do our semi annual maintenance on our main home AC and our three mini splits in our shop. He did an awesome job. He took his time to verifiy everything was operating with high efficiency. He also took the time to answer my questions. He was extremely courteous and nice. I rarely leave reviews, but gotta give a shout out to these guys. One of my compressors failed, but decided to replace both since the refrigerant changed over at the beginning of this year. I needed to go with an authorized Carrier dealer. Called three different businesses. Ended up talking to Dustin at Lamar. His price was the best out of the three, and since he was local decided to give him a shot. We ended up talking several times to decide on the best compressors that would communicate with my existing air handlers and fit what I was looking for. Once we nailed down the plan, Dustin got everything ordered and had me up & running in a few days. But that is not why I’m writing this review. There was a miscommunication between the dealer, Dustin and myself. I ended up ordering a couple smart thermostats from Amazon that Carrier said would work. They did not, so my system wouldn’t run in 2 stages defeating the purpose of upgrading the condensers. Once Dustin found out about this, he wasted no time in making it right. He had 2 new Carrier smart thermostats installed the next day, which was a big upgrade to the ones I purchased. My point is, somebody dropped the ball but Dustin didn’t point fingers or make excuses. He made it right. Dustin is fairly young, but he runs his company old school and takes care of his people. Also, shout out to Mr. Kevin who was a pleasure to be around while installing my new system, and also Andre who made a couple trips over here to make sure everything was working correctly.. he’s a wealth of knowledge
