Tree reviews in Alvarado, Texas

The Guy Tree Service came out and did an excellent fast job. I would recommend very highly to use this tree service.

Walter & his team care! We had a huge oak tree (pics DO NOT 👀)…tree was massive!!!
Our neighbor recommended we call “That Guys Tree Service”. Walter is prompt, meticulous plus extremely reasonable! He worked around several obstructions, propane tank with line, our house, concrete septic and an electric pole…it was nail bitting for us watching but for Walter he moved smoothly up 40’ branches, knew exactly how to cut them for correct fall, finishing under 2hrs! He’s polite, mannerly, easy to communicate with, does what he says, did I say fair? Very fair. We will recommend to everyone we know & will def call back to help with our other trees. Thank you Walter for caring about what you do, it shows!

After receiving multiple quotes we decided to go with That Guy’s Tree Service. His prices were more than reasonable and the lowest we were quoted. I was nervous for the 2 trees that were within 10 feet of the house. Him and his team were quick and professional. 3 trees fully removed and he will be back to grind the stumps. 1 pecan trimmed up. The hackberry at the front of the street was originally just going to be trimmed but we decided to cut it and leave the stumps as a property line marker. I also want to make a note that WE said that brush could be left and that we would burn it. I would definitely use them again and have already referred him to people that needed tree work done.

I had a tree that was split at the trunk, that was going to fall really soon. If it had fallen my roof would have caved in also, smashing my AC unit and power pole.

I have limited mobility but tried to brace it as best I could. I happened to see Walt’s ad in Next Door and gave him a call after 1600. He came right over and we both agreed it was one of the worst situations to have and safety remove.

Walt took his time remove each section of tree to protect my house as if was his home. I was very excited to see that tree gone. He saved me a lot of potential cost. He wasn’t going to charge me, but every man is worthy of his hire! I don’t believe in taking advantage of anyone.

Walt is very courteous, polite, and well mannered. It was an honor to meet and work with Walt. I would recommend his service to anyone.

Walter and Wayne removed 3 trees, including one very old elm that had died which had about a 4ft diameter. Walter also climbed up into three large oak trees to do some medium to extensive trimming and remove all the old dead limbs. They did a very good job. Highly recommend.

Walter did a terrific job. He was punctual and completed the job and more for a great price. If you need trees trimmed please reach out to Walter!!

I can truly say I have been very well pleased with the service we received from guys tree service. They removed a damaged tree that was about to fall on our home. And each of the guys were very careful and very courteous. They were a blessing to us. We will definitely be using them again and would definitely recommend them.

Walter was professional, timely, and cleaned up my yard after he completed the work. He grinded multiple stumps from my fence line that another guy said couldn’t be grinded due to the fence. He was reasonably priced and great to work with. Highly recommend!
Now I can get the old fence replaced!

You won't regret calling them! Honest, underpromise and overdeliver. They're all knowledgeable and will listen to understand your needs/wants. I'm relieved I've found folks I can call for any of my tree needs. Thank you again!
