Alright, so I get it when people come in before closing, but I got a good dirty look from one of the employees and the one behind the counter was on their phone. No acknowledgement that I was in there aside from the dirty look. I was going to be quick, I just wanted a nice little live Christmas tree, but after that, I left about as fast as I came in. Won’t be back most likely. I love shopping local, but if it’s going to be like that, I’ll take my business to Lowe’s.

I have been a customer of Coulter Gardens for many years. For some reason, my Christmas tree was completely dried out within a week after purchasing it. When we contacted Kenneth, he was so kind and said he would replace the tree. I got a beautiful replacement tree and want to give this business kudos. This is what will bring me back year after year.

The people here go above and beyond to help you. Warren, Jim, & Leddy assisted me in picking out beautiful plants for my home and helping me take better care of my trees. I went in thinking I wanted one thing but after talking with them they guided me in picking out greenery that would last. Also, I learned why my trees were not doing well. They are very knowledgeable and generous in sharing information with you. They take a consultative approach and truly care about the success of your landscaping. Thank you!

You don't have to be an expert in gardening if you shop here. I have always received great service from the employees, and they are knowledgeable as well. They have been kind and courteous and more than willing to answer any questions I have. They know the plants that thrive in our area and can steer you in the best options for your needs.

The plant selection is wonderful also. I enjoy browsing and planning/dreaming for future projects. This is a great place to shop if you're looking for personal attentive service and a selection of plants for the Texas panhandle area.

Everyone here has always been very knowledgeable and helpful. Many time I have come in with a photo of a plant or flower bloom and they told me what it was and showed me where it was in the store.

I love coming to this place and the staff has always been so friendly and helpful! The tree we bought there is doing well. However, 90% of the flowers that I bought last year, I bought here at the Coulter Gardens Nursery. And I have to say that maybe only 5% did well. The rest of the plants that I purchased did not do well and I am known for having a green thumb so... The plants I bought at Walmart and Lowe's did far better and cost half as much.

Coulter Gardens has an expansive amount of trees, shrubs, houseplants, and bedding plants. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with any and all questions. The greenhouse is very easy to navigate with many signs and help from the employees of that area. The inventory of each year shows variety but they also keep local favorites stocked. I highly recommend them to anyone who is tired of box store plants and fertilizers. Coulter Gardens is the best at keeping my garden and yard looking great.

Not helpful, and very rude! The cashier was practically laying on the counter, and acted like it was really a pain to have to take our money. We won’t be returning!

Great garden center. Knowledgeable staff is often very helpful. I thought some of their prices were a little high but went to Wal-Mart (water shoes and almonds), and their comparable flowers at the front door were a comparable price. So, maybe not that high.

Great, amazing and knowledgeable people working here! They came to my rescue helping my Mom with all her many questions and helped her find just the right shade loving plants to fit into her garden. I get so overwhelmed trying to help and they knew exactly what plants she wanted and we're able to provide what she needed! Thank you so so much for all your help.

I called them to buy an oak tree to be delivered and planted, they said the tree trunks were 6 to 7” in diameter, I trusted them because I was out of town when they delivered it, they were 2” and 3” for $2200 go figure

Plants were very stressed, and leggy.
We were over charged, unless I spoke up it wouldn’t have been fixed.
Gals at the counter were extremely rude.
Will not go back for those reasons

Love Coulter Gardens! Locally owned!❤ Prices are competitive with Lowes and Home Depot but the plants are superior in every way! They are larger and have more blooms and just look so much healthier. They are my go-to for all my pots and planter needs in spring. Also I am not knowledgeable at all about flowers or planting and they are extremely helpful. They patiently answer even the most basic questions, of which I always have many!
I do skip the bagged potting mix and top soils because those prices are higher and I usually pick these up at Walmart.

I had a question regarding a tree that I had planted recently and thought it wasn’t looking as good as it should. I did not buy the tree at Coulter Gardens but had seen the owner talking about tree care the evening before on the evening news. I asked an employee my questions and was lead directly into the owner’s office where he answered all my questions and wrote me a prescription for exactly what my tree needed. This is outstanding customer service and Coulter Gardens has a new lifelong customer!

A few years ago we experienced a long hard freeze that caused major plant and electric supply problems throughout Texas. I had a crepe myrtle that was 8-10 ft tall I was sure was killed by the freeze. Before digging it up I took a chance and discussed the plant with Warren Reid, owner of Coulter Gardens. He patiently explained why he thought it would come back and what I needed to do for the crepe myrtle. I carefully followed Mr. Reid's instructions and the plant came back (without flowers) that summer. No problem as I continued to care for it. The following summer and every summer since it has been its old self. I have been a customer of Coulter Gardens since moving to Amarillo and will continue to shop there.

I absolutely love coulter gardens as soon as you enter it’s like stepping into a tranquil garden of Eden. I’ve come here since I was a child and now I get to bring my own family for a 3rd generation tradition.

    My🅳🅰︎🆄🅶🅶🆃🅴🆁 absolutely loves coming. 🌱

I went to Coulter Gardens & Nursery today looking for hot pink geraniums. I found them and so much more. Wandering around this greenery, soaking in the sunshine is a replenishing way to spend time.

    P.S.:
I chose the cuphea plant for myself. I have no idea how to care for it, but I'll do my best.

Did not come back for his warranty work.
Terrible job on grading my lot. Had to pay another company to fix there work. Owner had one employee out there installing a 21 station irrigation system. The guy was over whelmed.
