As a Program Manager, requested to Ground Guys of Amarillo to provide service to one of our Clients at Amarillo, great service provide, costumer is happy for the good quality and professional work done on the installations.

This team actually surprised me by doing better than I expected. Left my home clean and did all they promised and more. The pricing was very fair. I’ll definitely be their customer from now on. Well done.

I am so glad we use Ground Guys. I had a sprinkler system issue. I emailed them and they were at my office in less than 30 minutes. Excellent customer service!! Their quality of work is unmatched.

I've been trying to get some sod laid at my home for almost a year. I contracted two other companies over this time to help me. But sadly both entities never followed through with their promises to help. Trace was mentioned to me by another contractor doing other things for me and I contacted him. Trace was fantastic. He worked with me, provided an estimate, and finished the job without any hitches. Trace is a a very easy man to deal with. And I have no complaints what so ever about the work that was done at my house. Top notch, honest, dependable, and easy to work with. I rarely give referrals out, but I have no problem referring Trace and the The Ground Guys to anyone for their services in the Panhandle.

The sod installation was done prior to the current owner and was a little slow. That being said, they did a great job. I am very happy with the continuing lawn care and maintenance. They show up on time every week and are very professional. I believe they offer great service at a great price.

My husband usually has always mowed our lawn, but he had rotator cuff repair surgery and he is so impressed with the way the ground guys know our yard! They do such a wonderful job and are very professional! I think we will be keeping them on a yearly basis!

I highly recommend The Grounds Guys! I was totally impressed with their work ethic! They did an amazing job clearing out the old grass and laying out new sod! Call them! You won’t regret it! By the way, they are super nice guys!

Contacted the “Grounds Guys” in December about this upcoming season maintenance. They went over to look over the job and gave me a thorough, competitive price for the season. While there, they noticed we had significant grub kill in the front yard and gave me a couple
Of logical options. We asked them to replace the turf in the front, and replace the turf in the back while they were there.
Scheduled 3 months out for a time when no one would be home to minimize the wear early from the dogs.
While on my calendar to reach out, They contacted me with a prep schedule and an installation day.
I appreciate these guys more than I can say for making this whole process as painless as can be.
The lawn turned out amazing and we couldn’t be happier.
Oh did I mention we’re in Denver and this was for our kids lawn in Amarillo.
Can’t even imagine how great the customer service would be if we lived there.
We have choices…and this is a Great Company to do business with!

Highly recommend!! After calling and being ghosted by 3 different companies, they did quick work the very next day and got my sprinkler running again! Thank you for following through when I called and coming out quickly!

A bad outcome for Landscaping work performed in late March - a few different items contracted, chief of which was laying of new fescue grass sod for about a 14' x 12' lawn area that had been damaged by moles (now gone). At the 4+ month mark now that area is virtually all weeds or barren. You might say that this is all on the owner, but having performed the usual maintenance to bring it along, one has to wonder if the added topsoil, quality of the sod or installation was subpar. In addition, the billing was quirky -- received an email at noon and another at 11PM on the day prior to the work being finished. There was no follow-up to the completed task -- perhaps that needed to be negotiated beforehand (?). The original contract itself appeared to have been drafted by a team of lawyers!

Highly recommend Trace and his guys! I called with a leaking sprinkler system and they were quick to work me in to their schedule, even though it was during Thanksgiving holiday. Trace and Jake were both professional and courteous, quick to explain what they were doing and thorough in their work. I would recommend The Ground Guys for repairs and large jobs as well.

Wonderful to work with. Cleared the snow from the parking lot amazingly. The first landscape maintenance, they did a great job.

I recently had my trees trimmed up, weeds sprayed and some spiral trees replaced by the Grounds Guys. Trace came to do an estimate and I was impressed with his professionalism and promptness. They finished up yesterday and have done a great job. Everything looks perfect, they clean up after themselves, plus they are just very nice people to work with. I would highly recommend the Grounds Guys and I will call them again. Thanks Trace and crew for a very good job!

I have always wanted my yard to look very good and have gone through a number of different landscapers trying to find one that will treat my yard like it was his own. Trace at The Ground Guys is that guy! He listens to my issues and offers suggestions and is not pushy trying to sell something. He cares and wants the job done right and truly has his customer's interest in mind. So glad I found him. He owns the company and works it. I like that.

Seriously disappointed, August of 2025, contacted these guys to get an estimate on sodding/seeding my ditch with a sprinkler system. Also asked about putting a small walk bridge and paver stones. Took 2-3 times missed appointments to finally get a rep out to my house. If my memory is right, his name was John. After talking with the rep and him getting all the measurementsI was told that I would be getting my estimates in the mail. After about 10 days and no email, I called and was told that an email was sent, which there was none. After more missed calls and no contact from them I called again and spoke to John who said he was waiting on estimate from the sprinkler guy and that he would be getting back to me, that was in September/October of 2025. We are now almost into March. Unfortunately after a good experience with them years ago, I will not use them again. It would be one thing for them to call and say that they couldn't do it, but to blow me off and not even reach out, highly unprofessional. ** UPDATE** I have decided to change my star rating from 1 to 4, I can not in good conscience fault an entire company over 1 sub standard employee. Trace and The Ground Guys are fantastic, and I do look forward to working with them again.
