Ryan and his crew are true professionals and experts in their field. I am so glad we chose them over all the other companies we called. Ryan really knows his stuff, and I trust him completely with the health of my trees. His tree-trimming crew did an EXCELLENT job of cutting off all of the dead branches that happened after the last snow storm. I will use Treehugger Tree Service for all of my tree needs from now on.

We had a limb down in our front yard off a huge oak tree. Treehugger's came over and removed it within 24 hours of being contacted. Great job! While they were there the owner walked around and gave us lots of advice on our other trees. Thanks for a job well done!

Ryan and his team were excellent to work with. The were on time, took care of cutting down a huge old oak tree and and pruning dead branches on other oaks. The crew worked hard in some extreme Texas heat and cleaned up everything afterwards. Ryan was also easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly. I would recommend their services.

Treehugger Tree Service did a great job trimming several trees in my yard. They not only cleared out dead wood and too many branches choking out others, but they also cut with the future health and growth of the tree in mind. My goals were 1) get branches off the house and garage, 2) remove dead wood so my kids would be safe playing under them, 3) provide proper clearance over sidewalks, road, and driveway, and 4) ensure healthy trees in the future. I currently believe all 4 of my goals are met. Great job to Ryan, Bobby, and the whole team!

I ran into them down the street on another job and was impressed with their equipment. I liked the idea of hiring a crew not just a couple of guys with chainsaws. What I got was a well-oiled machine with their own trucks, wood chipper, stump removers, multitudes of chainsaws of different sizes, and the long poles and handsaws you need for detail work. They can do so much more work with all the right tools. My trees look beautiful, and they timed their day to leave an hour for clean up. All the men were gentleman - receptive and willing to help with whatever request I had. This is the crew you want. They care about trees and doing good work. They take joy in it. And they get along with each other. It was a fun experience all around and I would love to have them back every year. You can tell they know what they're doing and no one is going to get hurt on the job. Safe and professional. If you believe in doing things the right way, for your trees, your backyard, and the environment, hire Treehuggers. Money well spent and goes along way.

Ryan and crew at Treehugger Tree service are knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough in their work. Ryan is a certified arborist and has years of experience in tree care. I have seen direct evidence of him saving gracefully aging oak trees from disease and premature decay. When tree removal is necessary it is performed in an incredibly safe manner. And when it comes to new tree selection and planting, you will be hiring an expert in both. Above all, Ryan is very approachable and communicates well. If you are looking for exceptional tree service, look no further than this company.

If you are in need of tree service, I highly recommend Treehugger Tree Service here in Arlington. The services they provide include: pruning, planting, removal, healthcare, and wood milling.
This was the smoothest, most pleasant service experience I have ever had. From the initial contact, the evaluation of the work, the estimate, the work itself, and the final invoice, everything was seamless and breezy. And reasonably priced!
Ryan, the ISA Certified Arborist, was very helpful and informative in answering all of my questions - he even came to my house on crutches to evaluate the job. The office staff responded to all of my emails and texts within 5 minutes, and the crew who performed the work cleaned up so well that you would never even know they were there - except for the massive facelift given to my Live Oak.
I tend to have terrible luck with service providers but not in this case. I happened across one of their trucks in traffic and thought the name was clever. When I looked them up, I really liked the energy of their website and the information it provided, and I’m so glad I went with them.
I could not be more pleased! You can’t go wrong using Treehugger Tree Service for all of your tree needs! -
Ryan was great! He showed up on time for the initial appointment and his knowledge of trees is apparent. He and his crew did our trimming on a day when no one was home. They cleaned up so well I wasn't sure if they had actually been there except all the trees looked terrific. We look forward to our next tree project. We will be calling Ryan again to discuss planting a new tree in the fall. I have already recommended him to others. Thanks Ryan!

I highly recommend Treehugger Tree Service! I had a huge tree that was hanging over my roof and needed several areas of it cut. Ryan and his crew were professional, reasonable, and trustworthy. I had him back out to get a huge branch that came down on my roof after a bad storm and he came right away. They are the real deal when it comes to providing excellent customer service and high quality work.

We have used Ryan and his team to trim trees and to remove two big Cedar trees that have fallen, response and follow up was first class. From Shelly in the office to the crews that have done the work, our thanks to them! We highly recommend them!

Shelley is the receptionist/scheduler and she is very sweet and friendly when you call to make an appointment or have any questions. Ryan is the arborist and he is AWESOME! He knows his stuff and I trust him 100% when it comes to my almost 200 year old tree. He recommends only what is necessary and tells me the truth what doesn’t need to be done. Love this company for all my tree needs! Highly recommend.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, we lost our water oak tree to the Texas Freeze of February 2021. We had Ryan visit in May to assess the health of our water oak and provide an official diagnosis after the tree did not leaf in the Spring. Sadly, the tree needed to be removed. Once again, cue Ryan and his amazing Treehugger crew. They removed the tree safely, guiding each large limb down using a system of ropes and weight balancing, avoiding damage to our roof and driveway. They safely dropped the trunk on the grass (the tree was located between two driveways) and ground the stump to make the area usable for adding other plants. Once again, the whole crew was professional, friendly, and used fairly quiet equipment. Excellent job!
PROFESSIONAL, AFFORDABLE, and QUIET!
My husband and I live in an older neighborhood chock full of mature trees, and after watching (and hearing) the tree maintenance work done at neighboring properties, we decided to call an arborist. We recently moved into our house, and we wanted to learn more about the trees on our lot - and about proper maintenance. Cue Ryan the ISA-certified arborist and his amazing Treehugger crew!
Treehugger provided a top-notch, forward-thinking tree maintenance service for a very reasonable price! We learned about the types of trees on our lot and their health, and the crew worked with respect for the trees. Also, they used hand tools and resorted to chainsaws only when necessary. We were able to continue our remote work - meetings and all - as if they weren't even there!
If you are looking to have work done on your trees, we highly recommend Treehugger! -
Ryan & his team did an excellent job cutting our tree back after the winter freeze almost killed it. I appreciated that they love trees & aren't quick to want to cut them down/back unnecessarily. Also, I appreciate that they respect wildlife & made sure to safely clear our tree of critters before cutting. Most importantly, they knew what they were doing & made cuts that will hopefully help our tree to survive for years to come. I highly recommend them.

Treehugger did a great job on our trees. I really appreciated the way Ryan listend to my concerns and then walked me through his plan for the trees. He kept what was best for the trees in mind the whole time but also cut them so they enhance the appearance of the home.
They clean up was excellent as well and we'll be having them back in May to try and improve the health of our Pecan tree.
This is a quality company run by someone who has great knowledge and cares. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them in the future. -
Ryan just left my home and I can't tell you how grateful I am that I called this company over others. I called them out when one of our big trees suddenly dropped a huge branch on our lawn which spurred concerns about our other trees (our property has large mature oak trees) . I wanted someone to come out who would truly be honest about the health of my trees without pushing they be cut down if they can be saved. Ryan was exactly what I was looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable and was detrimental to helping me understand the health and condition of all of my trees. He walked me through my options, gave me his honest opinions and answered all of my questions and concerns. You can tell he cares about our environment and conservation, he has a huge respect for trees and I highly valued that in him. Often times its easy to be taken advantage of when you're not knowledgeable in the subject and you feel they're pushing you into doing something that's all about money. He was nothing like that, and from the beginning when I called their office and Shelley answered the call, they make you feel that they truly care. I did a lot of research to ensure that the company that came out would do what was best for the trees rather than suggesting they be cut down first. And I'm so happy I called them out. Do not doubt bringing them out for what you need. I'm really looking forward to using Ryan's expertise in the future and knowing I have a awesome place to call when I need anything for my trees!

Recently bought a home and the trees needed more than just a face lift. They've been outright neglected for probably 10 years or more. Ryan came out to give me a consultation a month ago and immediately knew he was in love with his job. He was so detailed and knowledgeable about his craft. The crew spent 8 hours making my front and back yard trees go from severely neglected to outright beautiful. I wanted a face lift, but they give my trees a complete facial reconstructive surgery. I will never use a different company for my tree needs and my wife and I will always recommend them when we can. I'm still in disbelief honestly. They took care of EVERYTHING we talked about and more. I'm so happy. 10 starts out of 5. I wish your company the best.

Ryan the owner of Tree hugger Tree Service is nothing short of top tier. He was prompt at getting to my tree as soon as he could and did beyond an outstanding job on my massive red oak. While he was there Ryan and his crew were able to take care of my neighbors trees as well. We are both beyond satisfied with his service and would highly recommend him. He is not only passionate about his job but an Arborist. Have comfort knowing you've got the best keeping your trees healthy for years with this company.

I had excellent results in 2 difficult to do 55-60 ft pine trees removal adjacent to power lines using Tree Huggers.
They had first rate equipment and crew that handled this in a way I was relieved that a professional bunch had everything in hand.
Ryan, the owner was congenial, answered my questions, even advised on tree replacement type and timing. His crew is well selected and trained- hard working and quality focused.
Overall I can highly recommend and plan to use them for tree replacement. -
We had Treehugger trim our entire front, back and side yard trees and bushes on 1/19/2024. Prior to starting work, we were provided with a written quote that outlined the entire scope of work, including descriptions of the work and pictures. We had an all-day contract. On the morning of the job, the surveyor was onsite to go over the scope of work with us and the five workers before they started cutting anything. They trimmed dead branches, copious amounts of mistletoe and specific branches on our oak and cedar elm trees. The arborist was a great help in providing advice. Their professionalism and care of our trees and flowerbed plants and roof was terrific. Their clean-up was thorough and fully met our expectations. We would highly recommend Treehugger.

We have several hundred plus year-old oaks on our property and I would trust no other company to taking care of them except for Treehuggers. They also take care of the other multiple trees on our property with pruning and keeping them healthy. Incredibly friendly crew and owners. Very knowledgeable and never want to do extra pruning or cutting when it is not necessary.
Our trees are healthy because of Treehuggers.
Highly recommended. -
I contracted with Treehuggers to remove two large pines at my parents home - professional workmanship and not a trace of the tree was left behind. Especially grateful for their respectful work as my father was in home hospice care at the time and he was not disturbed by the work being completed. Thank you!!
