All reviews for Stephen Thomas Construction

Bob and Stephen Thomas Construction were fantastic to work with:- proactive, detail oriented and just overall positive and willing to get the job done right. I'm an Interior Designer who works with a lot of GC's and I'll definitely want to work with them again.

A friend referred me to Bob at Stephen Thomas Construction, and I’m glad they did. My project was a full remodel of a three-story, 1,700 sq ft home with two main goals: fix the structural and water issues uncovered during inspection, and transform the space into something warm and refined.

On the functional side, Bob and his team did an excellent job diagnosing and solving rooftop water issues. He offered practical, cost-conscious solutions that not only fixed the problem but should add real value to the home over time.

Where Bob really stood out, though, was in the details. He helped bring the design to life with thoughtful touches - like architectural beams, a custom bar, and a clean, modern fireplace - that tied everything together without overcomplicating the space.

No remodel is without its challenges, and this one was no exception. The difference is that Bob was always responsive, easy to reach, and willing to roll up his sleeves to solve problems when they came up. His subcontractors were reliable, professional, and kept things moving on schedule and within budget.

I’d absolutely work with Bob again.

I am beyond happy I brought on Stephen Thomas Construction for my kitchen remodel project. Bob helped me early on with budget so that I knew how my selections would fit within my budget. With that phase, I appreciated his transparency. Through the construction process it was nice I could trust I had Bob and Jared to run the construction. They provided attention to detail and making sure everything was installing to my preferences. They communicated well with weekly meetings and daily progress reports. They were always available if I had a question or needed to talk through something. Their trades people were respectful and owned their craft. Bob and Jared stuck with the project until the very last punch item, making sure we were happy with everything and there were no loose ends. I recommend them 100% especially in Austin when I've heard horror stories about contractors. You can feel safe knowing you have legit experts here.
