The electrician named cody was Very nice, personable, informative and made sure that everything was good and working before they left! Would definitely recommend them to anyone I know!

After noticing a poster billboard at a old grocery store in the Brentwood neighborhood of Austin
And it just so happened. I needed to line up an electrician for this week to get some work done while my customer was out of town.
I called the number and Shelby answered, I informed him what I needed to get done and asked for a general idea of cost, and offered to send some photos and measurements as potential clients often do with me,
Shelby gave me a ballpark and said his guys would be out there between 1-3 and they were there exactly at 3 o’clock two guys and right away I can tell they had experience and they were going to do quality work we confirmed the price and moved forward, and the project went extremely fast and clean and even after a third employee showed up, it was a smooth, great experience I’ve been around the trades for a little over 40 years and I’ve seen it all in every field
These guys are the top of their game I highly recommend them! And their number is saved in my contacts for future! -
Hands down the best electrician I’ve hired in NW Austin. The whole team knows what they’re doing and they never tried to upsell me on anything.
They installed a transfer panel for my generator, hardwired a hot tub, and took care of a few smaller fixes.
I really appreciated how honest and straightforward they were. Overall, just a solid experience. Highly recommend. -
I had aluminum wiring remediation in April 2024 which costed $6000 but it’s something my husband and I knew we would have to do eventually and was hoping it would improve our faulty electrical outlets.
The electricians left a mess leaving wires and dust from unscrewing and screwing faceplates. I would think grown professionals could clean up after themselves.
Our utility room lights were rewired differently and the switches didn’t work as they had. When we had Klocks come back to check, the technician said, “That’s just how it works now”.
Fast forward to December, we were out putting holidays lights up and noticed our outside outlets weren’t working.
As we were having some cold weather days, we noticed electrical issues and thought the remediation would’ve helped with this. We called Klocks to have them come back out to check. I thought the work would still be under warranty from April but was told that work only has a 6mo warranty. Also the electrician told my husband the outside outlets weren’t working because they were fried. We hadn’t even used those outlets until we tried plugging in a string of holiday lights. How could they be fried?!
We then started having our utility room lights not working and alarm system randomly going off when we had more colder days. We had someone come back out again. He checked an outlet and said the alarm system is not connected to the electrical outlet close by so there was nothing else he could do.
For the utility room, he said the light bulb and maybe the light fixture were faulty which I felt like I was just being gaslighted. We’ve lived in the house for 12yrs, never had issues With the light fixture and had just replaced the bulb a few weeks prior.
He checked the switches and said the previous electrician disconnected a wire to get the wiring up to code but he rewired it so it would actually work as it was prior to remediation.
I was frustrated that We got charged for the two most recent visits but Klocks refunded the visit to change out the outside outlets but charged us for materials. I was also frustrated by the fact that we had to ask multiple times to fix the utility room light and got charged for that fix. Lastly for extensive remediation work, I would think that work should be warrantied for at least 12mo to see how the electrical work does with the changes of seasons. And I would hope they cared about checking in on the work they did but instead seemed to just try to gas light us into thinking it’s all in our head and not offer solutions.
I used to like Klocks for the work that they do but after these last few visits, I will make sure to find another electrician. -
Incredibly poor experience. Came highly recommended by our realtor, was let down on multiple fronts including scheduling, communication and ultimately resulted in both in delays and more cost than initially expected. But it's the always the customer's fault, so they have that going for them... Requested to speak to the owner to discuss, that has fallen on deaf ears, but they sure are prompt on charging my credit card. With all the other options out there, steer clear and go elsewhere

Had a driver in knocks electric van this morning lay on the horn for a good two minutes, wouldn’t let me merge. Reckless driving & road rage.

I had a malfunctioning smoke detector that had to be replaced. They replaced it but the charge was way too much $200 for just replacing a smoke detector, and yes it was not the breaker which was replaced as they initially thought. Based on cost I would not recommend them.
